They have a pretty eclectic range, from little collectible hobby figurines, to china wall hanging, Moorecroft style vases & Venetian masks. They also have a range of jewelery available, most of which is made from Venetian Murano glass, it's not what I'd call cheap but it's very pretty and on par with what you would find in Venice itself. Another thing which is pretty darn cool are the novelty teapots, the giraffe is my favourite with it's neck posing as the handle, you don't find teapots like these just anywhere. The only issue I have with this store is it's size, you can browse the whole shop in 5 minutes, the second room is for the embroiderer in you, threads and cross stitch patterns, all your embroidery needs! Pity I don't know the first thing about following a pattern, could be time to learn.

I was taken with the big black and white tapestry hanging high up on the wall of a scrolled column, which had a 3D effect, but it was very expensive and didn't come home with me. Up on the walls is a large range of sepia photo like tapestries of people and pets, a technique and service they provide all stitch by hand. Otherwise a kit can be pruchased for the confident crafty person. This is the largest shop in SA containing machine embroidered tapestries which were hanging everywhere, and also had a rug hanging hook system for the massive ones for easy turning. A European feel was evident throughout the shop with various items like Venetian masks, china, tin toys, jigsaws, puzzles, etc and also a rear section full of tapestry supplies. A selection of children's books with pop ups as the pages are turned just like those music cards, but playing a tune as the story is read. Malcolm said they're great for grand parents as they can read a memorable bedstime story and is something different. Also mentioned was they are the only shop in SA importing English 3D novelty cards such as for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

I really love the new name and branding, it is super cute and matches the whole Japanese theme of the store. Well, not all of the stock is Japanese, but they also stock lots of cool art, jewellery, home décor and toys. This is one of my fav places to shop for gifts for my friends and family. You will find lots of quirky unique things in this store, like fake deer heads, cool mugs, quirky books and gift cards. I actually found some super cool Star Wars plates with Darth Vader with a top hat. That was a immediate purchase. You know those moments when you are shopping and you say "omg I must have!" Check out the jewellery in this store, you will find some really lovely modern styled elegant pieces. I found it very hard to choose from so many cute options. Some pieces full silver, others have beads and acrylic shapes. The staff in this store are super friendly and so happy to help you out if you are looking for something in particular. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they have a loyalty program which gives you discounts and invites to a special VIP party a couple of times a year. How cool is that, especially for such a little store!

Their range of sheets is fantastic, as they're stocked not only in all sizes but all kinds of colours, from neutral to rich and brightly dyed. Leading up to winter we bought our doona here. We got a pure wool king bed sized doona for $70. I think it was on a bit of a special at the time, but the original prices are not much higher. It's a beautiful doona, thick and heavy and ridiculously warm. They also sell non-allergenic doonas, and the cheaper, lighter kind, but for winter I go wool, all the way. Then we get to the doona covers. We spent ages trying to pick because there are so many different prints. Some of them are a bit gaudy, but hey, whatever you want to sleep under. We ended up getting a few for around $40 each. Again, ridiculous. They also do bed spreads, great for summer, which come as one with patterned covers. Then you've got embroidered cushion covers, pillows, towels of all descriptions, tea towels, and throw rugs. Their faux fur throws look a little cheap, but for $30 (currently on sale at $10) who cares? I haven't come across any other Manchester + More in Adelaide, so when I make the mammoth trip out to Tea Tree Plaza, I make sure I visit.

There is plenty of variety for your kitchen in cookware, coffee, storage, dinnersets, drinking glasses, wine, cheese, electrical, utensils and heaps of gimmicky gadgets. I loved knowing about and selling these products and the store atmosphere was always great. The staff loved their jobs and we were all friends outside work because of it. They have awesome sales a couple of times a year, with most customers in disbelief of the quality and prices. But be sure to get in quick, because stuff sells out quick! Plenty of cool presents in here and things you think 'wow that would be really handy'. They also do gift wrapping, just thought I would let you know because I know the staff won't! ;)

There's pretty much always some awesome bargains to be had. These days, this place is the first shop I check if I need something like salt shakers or pizza stones or anything even remotely related. The service is pretty typical retail, the staff seem alright and reasonably friendly, and I'm sure to be back.

I simply adore these types of stores and therefore Eclat is no exception. For a reasonable price they have some gorgeous items which could be placed around the home or given to someone as a lovely gift. There are plenty of different types of things to choose from, some which will look great in the kids bedroom or some which will look great in the garden. There are some lovely candles which make the store smell divine, which is always an important factor to me when it comes to these stores. This store is on two different "levels" (in other words there are a couple steps in the middle of the store to get to the counter), so be careful of your step. It's easy to get distracted by all the items for sale and to miss your step! Even though I was in Eclat for a little while browsing, the lady at the counter never asked me if I was looking for anything in particular. This necessarily is not a bad thing in my mind because I like browsing to myself and if I need help, I'll ask for it. Though there may be some who think this irritating and rude. I didn't get that vibe.

It is heavily French influenced - pronounced ek-la, Eclat means "the brilliance of the sun", "the radiance of a smile", "the sparkle of diamonds". The building is reminiscent of Parisian architecture, and the things they sell are so impeccably stylish you would have no trouble believing they were French. Inside, you will find a range of eclectic furniture, gifts, cushions, throws, crockery, tableware, rugs, mirrors, lighting, and a range of interesting wall art. It's a really cute place, even if you're not into that sort of stuff, you might find it handy when it comes to buying gifts!

I think this shop has a few less options for sheets, which doesn't bother me, because the other store has an overwhelming amount. It sells the same great doonas at amazing prices - $70 for a heavy wool queen sized doona, as well as a lot of traditional coverlets, which also act as great blankets in summer, and don't have removable covers. This does mean they're more bulky when you try to wash them, but it's useful to have an all in one cover. This is a great place for towels, and has some lovely hand towel sets that would make great gifts. There are also a lot of marked-down decorative cushion covers at the moment. The standard prices are fantastic, and if it's anything like its TTP counterpart, there will always be specials on as well.

I was immediately drawn in by the cheap prices with a rack of $15.99 quilt cover sets in various sizes sitting out the front. These prices were mirrored throughout the store, and as far as I could tell there was nothing over $100.00. As well as quilt sets they sell a big range of sheets and pillowcases, towels, cushions and under lays. The staff were not attentive at all, chatting amongst themselves the whole time without paying any attention to me as a customer. The store is also very crowded and messy with open boxes of stock everywhere which makes it really hard to get around.

I was originally attracted to the big spiders for hanging on the wall, because they are kind of unusual and not so real they'd freak you out; upon closer inspection the shop is crammed full of all sorts of really wonderful odds and sods. Bangles, beads, book ends, wall hangings, candle sticks, sarongs, bags, a few baskets; all pretty much imported stuff from all over the place. Not too expensive and a great variety of things. African carvings and probably Indonesian, Indian, some Australian as well, I've been in several time and still see stuff I didn't notice the first and last time, if you get what I mean. It is a family business (as in wife and husband), so you can rely on them if you are looking for something unusual to help you out - they know their stock pretty well and since so much of it is wood they do a fair amount of polishing and keeping things fresh. I really like wood so I really enjoy having a look through this shop. Some items are quite small and then they vary in size through to really large features objects like elephants and giraffes. Its fun browsing and hard to visit without seeing something you want to take home, so be warned!
