I went to check out and with 4 customers to check out, there was only one checker. Many of us used the people-replacing self-check-out screens; that went ok. But I needed help so I waited for Irma. Irma (the checker) was so busy but never missed a beat to help everyone around her. When it was my turn she blew up 8 balloons for me and was kind, efficient, friendly and quick about it all. As an added bonus, if the product is something I can order sight unseen, they will make it available for pickup in their Petaluma warehouse - fifteen minutes from home. We decided to check this place out, called a week ahead to rsvp since only open M-TH 11-2 for tours, it was spring break so perfect timing. JAke was our tour guide, she was very informative and Sweet. Tour was about an hour long. You get an mini bag filled with stickers when your done! $7 adults $5 kids spend $30 at store & get $7 back for taking a tour. Take an earlier tour if you can. Only one avail was 2pm when I called. The downside since it's so far is traffic , we left promptly at 3pm & got stuck on highway 37 for an hour , so our drive home became 2.5 hours

Everyone has been super helpful, friendly, and had gone out of their way to help me-whether it is with a mega yarn purchase for a project or to undo some mess I've made by following a pattern that wasn't right for me. I started out with bamboo needles, as do most beginners, and when they were driving me nuts, one of the wonderful women in the store lent me her ebony needles before I spent that much money on a set for myself. The lessons are fantastic and fun. I can't praise Jennifer highly enough! She makes knitting fun and pulls the group together. We became friends and are continuing with a knitting workshop with Jennifer. All the women in the store are supportive and instructive. No one appears to have an attitude. We are all beginners once. They seem eager to help.
