We arrived about 10:30am, which is way before normal check in time but they had a room that was open and allowed us to check in early. That was really great because I don't sleep well on planes and I really needed a few hours to rest before checking things out. The hotel is conveniently located right by the train station, so getting around is pretty easy. It took about 15 minutes to get down to the toursity area of the city. Not too bad, but we could have been a little closer. The hotel bar downstairs was nice, but a super bright in the evenings. It made it a less relaxing. Overall, this hotel was nice and a reasonable accommodation for the price.

It was great that the bathroom was split up into separate locked rooms, one for the shower/sink and another for a toilet/sink. Biggest pro for this location was that the metro stop was literally steps away as we exited the lobby. It was so easy to get to the center of the city and to travel around.

The next day, the system automatically checked me out so I had to re-check in at the front desk. There was a convention in town so the line was long both times. I tried to check out early to go to a different hotel and was told I couldn't because it was an "event weekend." It seems they were under-staffed. Overall, the rooms are small and the amenities are sparse. They do have a good breakfast with lots of food options and a nice bar downstairs. But I wouldn't stay here again.

The room was very nice and so was the bathroom. It was nice and warm over in the room and bathroom. Also there was a grocery store across the street and it was the best grocery store I have ever been too. The location is pretty good but not super close to main part of Munich. We walked to Marienplatz in like 20 minutes. The breakfast looked amazing but it was expensive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

It's a small hotel, but has great attention to detail. First, the design was warm, calming, and overall comfortable. I also liked the aesthetic, which felt a little Parisian (?). It was somewhere between modern and traditional (if that's possible), but most of all was cohesive. Everything just belonged together. The small garden was beautiful and peaceful and well-kept. The premise and staff exuded a pride of ownership and service, which I always appreciate. While the breakfast may not have been as elaborate as some larger hotels, it was fantastic. As an aside, it's nice to have everything included (the mini bar, breakfast, etc.). Even the sauna and steam room were a nice amenity. Other examples of attention to detail... the electrical outlets included adapter for different plugs including USB-C. The bathroom included a table for additional counter space. The front desk included frog gummies (frog was their theme). Who thinks of all this? All these little thoughtful details really demonstrate care. If I had to critique, I would suggest a few more equipment for the gym; it was a little lacking. Overall, great place.

It's not easy to find with a small sign and simple door, but walking in one immediately finds a a modern, well maintained residence. Though compact, the rooms are designed and outfitted with guest comfort in mind. Our room had a large bed with two duvet comforters so two sisters could share easily without arguing over the covers. A floor-to-ceiling book shelf separated the single bed while providing multiple nooks for storage. Storage was ample and well thought out - one wall was lined with hooks to hang, there were multiple small tables and a built in luggage stand with closet rod for hanging clothing just inside door. The toilet, sink and step in shower were all separate from each other making it easy to get ready in the morning. The fitness room was small but clean and we could fit a yoga and strength workout in. The sauna/spa area is a perfect place to hang out and relax, though we were disappointed the jacuzzi closes in winter. And of course, the breakfast. The hotel provided one of the large breakfast buffets Germans are famous for, keeping everything refilled and fresh throughout morning. There are also ample spots to hang out with friends if you don't want to stay in your room but you don't want to go out. You can even pick up a cocktail or bottle of wine at front desk, which is staffed by super helpful employees. The location is perfect- less than a block from one of the main streets Leopold Straße- and easy access to a phenomenal public transit system. An excellent place to stay when visiting Munich

Also given that Munich transport system has a ticket that covers all modes of transport, bus, trams and trains within zones all day for a fixed price, we could easily go all the way to Dachau. The rooms were small and compact, and they definitely could have used more storage space as we had to struggle to find places to put our clothes in as we unpacked. But the hotel is definitely utilitarian. Although the maid never came to clean out our rooms in all the 3 nights we spent there, the facilities are very minimal yet adequate. I also appreciate that they use organic soaps and shampoos. I would see it a bit overpriced for the budget hotel image they want to give, or at least that was my impression, because if they were going for Zen, they failed quite miserably.
