Open face smoked salmon and prawn sandwich and a burger.
    Val G.

Really enjoyed our dinner here at Arthur's Bar. The wait time at the other restaurant, 1837, the wait was about an hour so we decided to try Arthur's Bar. You order at the bar but they bring your meal to you. You also find your own table. I had the open face smoked salmon and prawn sandwich which was really good. The prawns were in a creamy dressing that was very well done. The others had the burger which is huge. The flavor lacked a little salt but perhaps this is just our custom back in the US. The beers and drinks are reasonable and we were happy to get some food after having some Guinness up at the Gravity Bar. I wish there were some more options and a few dessert options. Our menu did not have all the options I saw here on Yelp. Wish I would have taken a pic of the menu.

The food tasted great, we all love our meals especially the Guinness's. I got the burger and I must say it was very good. By far the best burger I have had in the past year. The chips where great texture as well as flavor. A person in my group says "The baked potato surprisingly big and filling. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys a good baked potato." The stew has been told as "A great value meal, it tasted great with a large portion as well as the potatoes and meat. Will help soak up the beer along the way." The service here was amazing. My group first got here around 5 so it was pretty busy and hard to get a table but we got lucky and saw one being cleaned up as we walked in. I quick went up to him and got the table, the employee cleaning the table did a very good job. We got all of our food in a fast fashion and most looked very good. The only problem was the one Guinness stew and at best it was luke warm. Other than that they were very polite and kept up with our requests. As you can see from the pictures the view from this place was very good. All meal we were looking out the window right next to us enjoying the view. We loved the live music as well as the lighting.

I had this tasty lager at Arthur's Bar in the Guinness Storehouse

After a couple of hours exploring the Guinness Storehouse, you might be a little nibbly. And Arthur's Bar is going to be the spot. On the 5th floor. There's actually food here, similar to the 1837 Brasserie, including burgers, beef & Guinness stew and such. And in addition to Guinness, they offer the Hop House 13 Lager and Harp and other beers, plus soft drinks. Yes you can use your Guinness "voucher" here, but I'd recommend saving it for upstairs at the Gravity Bar. Note that there is also an "Arthur's Pub" nearby, but that establishment is unrelated to the Guinness Storehouse.

The guys generally pick a selection of wines to put on special in the centre of the floor, generally around the €10 mark, and they change frequently: for example, during the summer, you're likely to find some fruity barbecue wines on offer. Advice is available if, like me, you don't know much about your wines, and they're more than happy to steer you towards value-for-money rather than try to upsell. As a beer man myself, Kelly's is miles better than the other local off-licence. They stock all the usual suspects in an open fridge, but they also have an excellent selection of quality imports such as Flensburger, Baltika, Spaten, etc. They stock some good Irish brews as well, and regularly have five for €10 on some of the good European beers. Better selection, better staff, and good deals. What more could you want? While you could probably find better bargains on mass-produced plonk in Tesco's or similar, these guys have a great selection and know their stuff. As a small local business, they do an outstanding job serving their customers, too. And if you need it, they can sort out your party needs with glass hire, too.

Not that she is a raging boozer but she does like a tipple or three like her daughter. Yet she suffers from the Irish Mammy syndrome of being unable to treat herself to the finer things in life and in drink. It may taste like diluted piddle, "But jaysus Annie it was only 70c a tin - bargain." "Indeed Mam." I loaded my bag with as many different beers that I could manage. From Belfast Blonde to Dungarven to Brooklyn to San Francisco to Munich and more in between. For such a tiny shop they have a great selection of beer and it was a treat to do a tasting session with the parentals and not feel like we were drinking fizzy chemicals just cause it was cheap. If I can avoid a sore head the next day for some extra €'s then I will.

Recommended this place by Emily C who lives 5 mins around the corner and told they had a great selection of beers I was initially thinking they'd maybe have the odd good craft beer but no no no, upon arrival I was taken into a world of fine fine beers from all over the world - and lots of it! There's a giant fridge in the back with all sorts of American rarities, European amazingness, lots of British craft and even Irish (which I thought was good to try seeing as I was in town - not too bad, needs a few more hops...). The truth is I could have been here all day deciding if I wasn't with my chums and off for dinner so after a quick 5 min chat with the super helpful/extremely knowledgable guy in the back went on my way with my tasty wares! I imagine there's some great wine on offer too if you look for this sort of thing but I was fully in blinkers on mode and went straight for the beer. Next time I'm in town I'll be paying a return visit.
