My dishwasher broke 3 weeks ago. it had been dieing for a couple of days, so every plate, bowl, glass, mug, spoon, pot, pan, container in the house was in my sink, and around it.. I eat a ton of cereal and it was caked on to the bottom of all of the bowls and in many cases molding. landlord can't find the part, I've been too busy to deal with it. and it was getting bad. it was really bad situation in that kitchen. yesterday I decided I needed help . the rest of the kitchen was a mess as it was, I'm painting and reorganizing. I can not stress enough how nasty was. I found Arts here on Yelp and they had good reviews and really good prices. Olga came in 1 day. I couldn't be happier. I'm bad about leaving reviews, but this business is really really good. they are very affordable, especially for the service they provide. they made it really simple to setup. I got the kitchen deep clean for 150$ for 2.5 hour. Olga was very nice, was here right on time, brought and used all of her own supplies she did an amazing job. she did the entire kitchen. she left everything organized. it was a mess, I had boxes and files, documents old mail everything all over the place. it's spotless now. they made a disaster of a situation so simple for me to get done. thank you, Olga and Art's- My house had gotten really uncomfortable it feels so nice to have that kitchen back it's very rare to come across a business this professional, efficient, affordable and good. read more

The cleaners were on time, friendly, and communication was good throughout the process. Overall, most of the house was cleaned well, and I appreciated their professionalism. The main reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5 is because the floor mopping felt rushed at the end. When I came back to do a final walkthrough, I noticed the floors still had quite a bit of residual dirt and didn't feel like they had been thoroughly mopped. I also noticed one of the cleaners dumping what appeared to be mop water into my front lawn, which I didn't love. I paid $530 for a move-out cleaning plus interior oven cleaning and for that price,I was hoping for a more thorough final result. To be fair, I should have asked them to revisit the floors before they left, but by the time I finished checking everything, they were already packed up and ready to go, so it felt a little awkward to ask them to unpack and redo it. Everything else was handled well, but the rushed mopping and dumping mop water in the yard kept this from being a 5-star experience. Overall, I'd say they were friendly and easy to work with, but I think a little more attention to the final floor cleaning would have made a big difference. read more

I would 1000% not recommend this business. I had two cleaners, Sergey and Anna S, scheduled for a move-out clean. I had specific areas that I needed assistance with- not the entire house. The first problem arose when they arrived without certain cleaning supplies and had to run to the store to buy more. Then they proceeded to use such harmful cleaning chemicals that I couldn't be inside the house- even though I had stated that I had stuff I needed to do while they were there. The cleaning products were SO strong that I couldn't even be outside- I had to leave. After an a couple hours I figured they would be done. I came home to find EVERY DOOR to my house locked- even the one from house to garage. They had locked me out. Obviously I had keys but still.... Very weird. I asked them how much longer and they seemed very out off. There were TWO of them and should have been nearly finished! After another hour I told them that was it- they needed to leave. They were SLOW, RUDE, and BAD at cleaning. There was residue in the toilets from cleaner, the drawers/cupboards were vacuumed but not wiped out, and the kitchen some spots that weren't clean. All in all, this was a VERY stressful experience and complete waste of time and money. I had to clean AFTER they left. The owner did give me a discount which was appreciated but still- they were not worth the money and waste of time. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else!!! read more

I was moving out of my place so I could rent it out to a tenant and was searching for a trustworthy move in/out cleaning company. I used yelp's project tool to collect a LOT of quotes and Art's cleaning services had competitive pricing in line with other companies. What ultimately led me to go with Art's is their initiative to go above and beyond with professionalism and to make it work for my schedule when they had no reason to do that. I also wanted to get my carpet deep cleaned and would have needed to engage with another company for that since most cleaning companies just do a vacuum and don't offer any further deep cleaning services, but Art has the necessary connections such that I only needed to book with him, and he took care of the rest. With an easy process, I was able to get my whole place cleaned in the same morning that I had my carpet deep cleaned. Art and his team came promptly within the scheduled window and were in and out by the time I had asked. My place looked great. Would 10/10 work with them again for my future cleaning needs. Really disappointing that this company did a bait and switch on me. I had confirmed 9 AM for this morning and had everything prepped for them. I called to see if the technician was on his way and towards the end of the conversation, April said that the charge would be $200. I told her I was quoted $80-$140 (that includes pet stain treatment) via text. She first tried to deny that but after repeating it, she said she would check. She said that I was speaking to Art and acknowledged that he said $80 to $140 but it would still be $200. I said that it didn't make sense.She then said that they have a $195 minimum. I don't understand why the quote wouldn't have been $195 to begin with or why they didn't ask if I had anything else that needed to be done so that I could make the minimum. This was a total beat and switch of trying to charge me $200 for two small rooms. very disappointing that a business would handle something so unethically and not honor their quote. read more

I was supposed to get a service done today though I was called this morning by Catherine and she scrambled to tell me that they actually don't have time for me-- even though I made an appointment days ago with the owner. I find this very disrespectful and poor customer service since I had to move things around my schedule to make this happen. I have a bad experience with this company. I called them yesterday based on their good reviews to clean our office once a month. The lady I spoke with couldn't give me a fixed price, they didn't offer to come out to give us an estimate either. After discussing in detail what we were looking for, she said that she needed to speak with the owner before she could give me an estimate. After a few minutes she called me back and she quoted me 3 hours for the initial cleaning and she said that the owner agreed to a charge of 2.5 hours cleaning monthly afterwards. We discussed the scope of work IN DETAIL over the phone. We scheduled the initial cleaning, then we also scheduled once a month cleaning afterwards. Following our conversation she sent over a link which included a scheduled initial cleaning confirmation between 8-10 am, 2 hours work instead of 3 hours that we had discussed. She also asked me to send over the scope of work via email, just to be on the same page. I wrote it down and sent her over exactly what we have discussed over the phone and I asked her to clarify if the cleaner would be cleaning for 3 hours instead of 2 hours the first time. This morning, I received a phone call from their office that the owner is cancelling this work, they do not want to honor what we have discussed yesterday. They didn't give me an explanation why they cancelled it, she just said they are cancelling all the previously scheduled work. We did not have a good initial experience with this company, and because of that, we would not trust them cleaning our office. read more

Olga and Mirna did a fantastic job. They actually did more work than I thought they could in the allotted time. My place was really a mess and very dirty - like a crack house. These two came in and got it looking so good. My bottom bathroom and shower looked like one of those horrible bathrooms in some gas stations. Now it looks great. My kitchen was downright repulsive. So bad I was really ashamed for anyone to see it. Not anymore. Now it looks soooo clean. In searching for cleaners I sent pictures of my dirty place. I was actually turned down by a couple cleaners. Needed a cleaning for a move-out. Found Art's Cleaning Services on Google and saw that it had some of the highest rated reviews. I needed a deep cleaning of the house and a refrigerator. Cleaners did not disappoint !! High traffic areas were spotless once the cleaners were finished. The bathroom and kitchen looked brand new. Catherine and the cleaners were very communicative throughout the whole process. Although we had to reschedule, the cleaners arrived on time and were very kind. We completed the rest of our cleaning projects with Art's which included our carpet and sofa. There was one unexpected rescheduling but we were not in a major rush so we signed off on an alternate date. The discounted pricing was definitely fair for the work done. The tech arrived and setup corner protectors at the wall so the hoses would not damage the paint or it would limit contact. He wore blue surgeon booties which was much appreciated by our Asian household via a shoe rack at the main door entry. We have a nearly medium-sized condo and a smaller L-shaped sofa with chaise built-in. The tech utilized a spray pump bottle and would hose down the carpet or sofa with it before hitting it with the hose attachment and doing slow dragging movements along the carpet or cushions. He appeared to leave no stone un-turned hitting all areas quite well. The dry time is very dependent on exterior temperatures. I opened the house up immediately after the tech left. That included both sliders and various windows. Initially, I did not use our small power fans, but there was zero wind outside on a lightly warm day. The fans helped so I could get onto the sofa to continue watching college football about 6 hours later. The carpet drying time was dependent on the room and where it was located in relation to the sliders or windows. That took up to another 4-5 hours or so. I avoided going onto the carpet as much as possible and only wore socks. The solution they use can be slippery once it gets on your socks and they become damp. This is especially the case if you track it back onto smooth laminate floors. They do recommend opening your windows and leaving the house for the day and I can easily see why. That was my original plan and I should have stuck with my original plan. The results were more evident in our sofa because it is a charcoal gray color and it was easy to see dust and stains. It was especially nice to sit on a sofa that night that looked fresh and smelled fresh. People will talk about their carpet looking "like new" after a carpet cleaning, but I feel like that is seemingly impossible due to the type of carpet we purchased years ago. Of course age factors in some as well. Our carpet is a HIGH pile "pita bread" color name and we chose it because you could spill your creamy coffee on it and nobody would notice excluding the nice aroma. Unfortunately, one of the cons of this carpet is over the years it mats down and is harder to rejuvenate the aesthetically pleasing to the eye look it once had. Also, with a "pita bread" color it is harder to see the "night and day" difference after a carpet cleaning. This is not an Art's problem, it simply "is what it is". The good news is the carpet passed the bare hoof test conducted by me the next day where I could easily tell the carpet was much cleaner than before. The only real con of the service was the odor. I wore a mask for much of the appointment and even some afterwards. The smells of the cleaning ingredients are strong and have a big aroma of baby powder. I know many people like that sniff, but I am not one of them. Citrus (lime, grapefruit, orange etc.) sniffs are my jam. Thankfully it wore down by the 11-12 hour mark and the change smelled better becoming more of a fresh clean scent, but for a while all I could think of was babies with diaper rash as I waited for the sniff to quiet. All things considered, we were very pleased with the results. read more
