We love our local firehouse! Every year, we purchase our live Christmas tree from their lot. They sell out fast, so you have to jump on down there right after Thanksgiving. It's a great fundraiser for them every year and their trees are always really healthy and look great once set up and decorated. We also have been going to the Terror Trail for the past couple of years. It's definitely a lot of fun for both the kids and parents. I'm not sure if the firehouse specifically hosts this event, but I think they do. Lastly, we have had local incidents that have required intervention from the firefighters and first responders. They have always been helpful, courteous, and quick to respond. It's a great firehouse with wonderful people that staff it. I'm glad we have them so close by. read more
