We received a couple of recommendations, so we chose this place to go for dinner with a couple of friends. The location is a bit sketchy, and not easy to get there if you don't know the area. The ambience is very pleasant and cozy. We ordered a sample of the four Argentinian empanadas and a Guacamole with chicharrón both appies were very good. We shared a couple of beef cuts; a Churrasco and a T Bone (bife de chorizo) both were made to our desired donnenes, and the beef was top quality. Wines: Although the wine list featured interesting wines and the cellar seemed well stocked. We asked for a couple of options and the server came back twice saying that the wines were not available. So we had to limit our options to what was available. And we were not offered any suggestions. We Also noticed how overpriced the wine was. For a White heaven bottle bottle that is appropriately worth $19 Canadian dollars, the price was equivalent to $90 For this level of margin at least you should have a wine poured in the proper glassware. Instead they use cheap wine glasses you can find in a dollar store. The service was probably the reason I'm giving this place 2 star review. Not the type of attention you expect From a $$$ place. The server did not provide suggestions or mentioned the house specialties. He Limited the interactions to take out order and bring it to the table, not very service oriented. The restaurant itself is very nice with a homely feel. Our waitress was very nice and she spoke English, which was helpful. The also have menus in Spanish and English. The food is beyond delicious! I ordered arrachera and it was by far the best steak I have ever eaten. The sides are a la Carte but can feed several. My colleague ordered a baked potato and it easily fed all three of us! The prices are considered moderate in pesos for but not so expensive in usd. I would go back to that restaurant daily! read more

I would never have for this place if I wasn't with someone who had been there before. But don't be deceived by the outside. When you walk in it is an very nice restaurant. I had the NY strip and it was very good. The service was great and the food matched. Guacamole and bread with some kind of toppings were great. Prices for the steaks we had and apps with drinks was fantastic. I would definitely go back. read more

Service and decor is top notch and the fried octopus is delicious! I ordered a ribeye cooked to medium and it had a great flavor biut it had too much fat. Probably would've been better cooked to medium-well. The clericot they serve is also really good. It is a little on the top expensive side compared to other local restaurants. I was debating between giving it 4 or 5 stars, but to be honest there is not really anything to complain about other than the bill being a bit higher than expected. read more

This place is truly an amazing restaurant, a hidden gem in the city of Saltillo, Coahuila. A little bit difficult to discover for the first time but well worth the effort. We were told by the owner to call first for a reservation which we did, but upon arriving last night, Saturday it wouldn't have been nessasary. The non smoking section was only at 7pm less then half full. From the start the service and attentiveness of the staff was 1st rate. From the receptionist thru the waiters to the cook, all were more then willing to provide answers to questions from a first-time guest. The menu's are in Spanish and English, a nice feature and the young man Christopher, one of many helpful waiters was also fluent in english. This also represented another plus for a restaurant in Mexico catering to American visitors. We ordered a cut of meat refereed to as Vacio or flank. The meat is prepared very slowly over a bed of charcoal and during the duration we were served a small loaf of bread and two small bowls of delicious topping. The steak was cooked to perfection and the flavor was one of the best I have had in a long time here in Saltillo, and yes we have previously tried several other popular restaurants in the city. The portion also was as promised, more then enough for two. We will definitely return as this experience proved to be one of our best here in Saltillo . read more
