After pointing out the areas of concern to him, Ken offered a couple non-serious possibilities for the phenomenon, and was able to assure me there was no threat to either the structural integrity of the house or the cement slab foundation - and pretty much bottom-lined it, saying there's really nothing to worry about. I really appreciated Ken's easy-going demeanor, and sensed zero interest in him trying to sell me a repair service that wasn't needed. Ken is just an honest guy offering his experienced opinion - in no doubt, putting yet another homeowners' unwarranted concerns to rest. Would be nice If all companies sent inspectors who operated the same way as Ken.

On top of that, part of the project had to do with our insurance; we needed a contractor that would be willing to provide exactly what the insurance needed. We typed the proposal up, and Jeff filled in with what the insurance requested. We wanted to remove light fixtures in the living room and replace it with a pendant fixture, as well as recessed lights. The shades we bought ended up not being the perfect fit for the new fixture we wanted to use in the dining room, but Jeff and Chase were patient and knowledgeable to know how to "sand this, and cut that " and made the shades work and look beautiful! We are very pleased with their work and will definitely be using them again for all things home repairs. As a perfectionist, it's hard to find great contractors like them. Jon is a local general contractor since 2002 whose projects are almost entirely from word-of-mouth. During this time I regularly observed Jon's dedication to complete her job to perfection to ensure she came home to her new kitchen.
