It had rained recently and the ground was damp but their equipment really did a number on my yard. In the process they damaged a $1000 century plant and did not figure any consideration for that as for as reducing my bill. They also damaged and/or destroyed numerous other plants/shrubs. I know the contract basically says that some damage may occur and they are not responsible but they did not seem to care whether they damaged my plants or not. After I refused to pay them the full amount for their "services", the company owner, a big overbearing burly guy, showed up and got in my face. I thought he was going to whip my butt! He was very intimidating. I finally agreed to pay the balance upon completion of them putting sod down in my torn-up yard, one-half of which I had to pay ($500).
