My child never had a problem making friends, a sports team and has attended Catholic High Schools prior to Bishop Kelly. My daughter, a cheerleader said she never thought kids could be so nasty. The staff will do nothing to keep your teenager safe. I guess... Once Upon a Time prior to 2014/2015 this was a great school. In December 2021 almost 2022 this school in my experience has been exactly what I read on the 1&2 star reviews on all the sites that allow reviews. 2016 to current is when the problems started at Bishop Kelly. Wish I read the reviews before paying over $15K to this school. We are new to this school this year in 2021/2022. My child will not be attending in Jan. 2022. This school is a HORRIBLE school. This is not a practicing Catholic School. The school wants your money, especially the ones like my family who don't receive aid. Their very nice up until fees are paid and contract signed. After that, consider yourself lucky if the return an email. They ghost ya!

My son was in their special ed program and he was abused. The school he went to lied about what…read morewas really happening and the daily events. He missed a lot of time due to staff missing or Claire his teacher not having a plan and not knowing what to do. He needed major speech therapy - He received 20 minutes a week. Took them months to program.his talker and even then it was not done right. Did not follow IEP..... And even worse they lied - They did not mark him absent all the days he was sent home early. So essentially they stole money. I had enough and he is home now and all the crazy behaviours he exhibited at school are gone. Why have we not received a call? I think Lowell Scott and Joplin worked together to intentionally suppress information. The Para professionals hired to work with our son told us a lot off the record.

I loved the fun activities in class and learning opportunities she set up through field trips. She always gave helpful tips in helping him learn more. My family moved to Idaho pre COVID, and have been attending CVCS for 6 or 7 years. (Time flies.) We…read morecurrently have all our kids enrolled, and we love the education they are getting, both academically and spiritually. With many Christian schools, it seems that faith is put on top of curriculum, like frosting on a cake. I've seen at CVCS that faith is baked into the cake itself. For example, every parent/teacher conference is opened in prayer, each child is prayed over when considering classroom placement, and Christianity permeates every aspect of academics and social activities. If you live in the Treasure Valley and want a solid education for your kids, as well as having them surrounded by positive role models, I strongly recommend Cole Valley!
