I've always walked the course when I've played here (as a guest) with a caddie, and the caddies are outstanding, and the pace of play is excellent. It has outside seating next to the 18th hole. The chicken they served was some of the best I have ever eaten. Third, the pool area is beautiful. Fourth, the golf course is beautiful. A nice mix of holes. The first hole you hit downhill which is really cool. Fifth, the staff in the clubhouse are extremely friendly. Try the Spaten beer on tap. Delicious. The venue is set on a beautiful golf course and the ballroom is modern. The wedding package is affordable, yet offers a wider range of options than your typical and similarly priced wedding package. Our guests raved about the quality of the food at our wedding and were impressed by the staff. Each table was assigned a waiter who also took table side drink orders. Chiara was always available and worked with us throughout the year leading up to our wedding. Unfortunately, the week before our wedding, we stopped by the Shack to see the venue set up for another wedding and were in total shock when we saw the golf course under construction. We were upset because up until that point we had no idea about the impending construction that would take place and be apparent on the day of our wedding. Luckily, we spoke with the GM and he was accommodating and apologetic. That was the worst customer service I have ever gotta. They act like they work at a prestigious golf course when they really work at a course where half the people dress in a t-shirt and sweats. Got told on the 16th hole that we had to return the carts at 4:30 in the afternoon, couldn't wait until we finished the round then got yelled at again on the 18th hole and told to take hand carts. Would not play again poor conditions and bad service. Bring a leaf blower if you want to play past September because the course won't be maintaining the greens.
