This review is for the Golf Course as well as the shop. 1) The Shop: Not much going on here, they have some Golf Towels, a couple Golf Shirts, a few clubs and shoes and that's about it. Of course they have your essentials like tee's ball markers etc, but its relatively small and like most stores you'll find better pricing online. 2) The Course: Ashbrook is a public Union County course, with a county card expect to pay $25 dollars for weekday 18 holes. Not bad at all, the course itself is quite nice, not too long and relatively scenic. I don't think this is a very challenging course, but the really drag is that most of the times I've played here its VERY slow. Slow like 5+ hour 18 holes. We literally had to wait every hole to tee off, so naturally I got frustrated which translated into my swing/game pretty horrible like. The 2 star review is just based on the shop and course, the actual staff that I've dealt with at Ashbrook are really nice, helpful and give great customer service so 4stars to them ;) read more

Not much here to review. I think the shop and clubhouse could use a remodel, it's a bit antiquated. The people working there and on the course were aces. read more

Very sad golf club. Teenagers are not welcomed. The club finds ever excuse to turn you away. My son and his friend were not able to play facing poor registration and even more controversial employees that gave them an earful without even realizing their skill or speed... The 2 ended up not playing and were turned away by the old establishment who shoved them aside and delayed their start time by 2 hours. I thought to myself that aside from uncooperative employees, the place looks old and the shop is as big as my bathroom. This establishment has a poor way of running itself and denying youth access to a public course. Upon arriving to check in for my tee time the man running the front desk gave me and my friend a hard time for being under the age of 18. He ended up charging me and my friend the adult rate to get on the course. The long discussion to finally be allowed on the course for our 5:48 tee time caused us to be behind schedule. We then walked down to the tee box at 5:54 and the starter did not let us go on as a twosome. Even with no group readily available behind us the starter did not let me and my friend try and catchup, go on our own, or start at a later hole and said how me and my friend do not take the game seriously.This course does not cater to youths, is rude to youths, and does not tolerate lateness even if it's caused by its own establishment. If you are looking for a good game of golf a better place to go to is galloping hill golf course which has the same rates, better course, and is close by. read more
