The beach is very popular in summer but the promenade and paths make for a pleasant walk all year round. The beach is bordered by a long row of green and white beach huts which are very distinctive and behind lie two large car parks (pay and display). There is a newly built cafe at one end of the promenade, and a small snack bar and beach shop at the other. Further along the coastal path (just around the corner from Langland Bay) is another cafe with outdoor tables.

Tairgwaith Trotting track has been going for some years now, and has recently been improved with…read moreflood lighting and making the all weather track longer so that international races can take place there. The area around the track has been landscaped and seating along one side, there is also a covered grandstand area where you can sit and watch the races in the dry if it rains. There is always a food trailer there and a bar for those that like a drink. Book makers have there own covered area.. Plenty of parking.. There are regular meetings in the summer Some meetings are on the telly. There is plenty of room for the children can run around. Sometimes there are displays/races with Motor bikes and they have had the Big Trucks there as well.. Though not at the same time as the horses..A good day out for the family.

There's a bar, a Wimpy, an arcade area and American Pool in addition to the many lanes. As there are so many lanes you can usually get one without booking if it's a weeknight or during the day.

This is possibly one of the best beaches in Pembrokeshire. You can get to in either via the…read morenational trust car park on to of the hill which then has steep steps going down to the main beach or (my favorite) you can take a stroll through Bosterston Lily ponds and take in the the views. It's about a mile or so walk up and down dale though so not for the faint hearted. The water is usually crystal clear so bring your swimming togs.

The hall for badminton courts etc has reasonable lighting and is more available than more popular venues like Penlan and Morriston. The swimming pool is kept at a good temperature and there are a few exercise classes run in a fun way, rookie life guarding and belly dancing included. Changing rooms could do with some updating but generally are warm and clean. Staff are always helpful and friendly.

A lovely beach to walk or sunbathe on and the sea is clean and safe for swimming too. You can start many walks from here to other bays on the Gower, or behind Oxwich through the nature reserve woodland. There's the Oxwich Bay Hotel right beside the beach too which is good for meals, snacks and drinks and there's a very small caravan park too. Hardly any other buildings so quite a rural 'feel'.
