My favorite part about the shop, though, is the fact that they're currently trying to get rid of all their VHS inventory. The tapes all started out at £1 each sometime in late 2009. I knew they'd bring the prices down and they eventually did, so I scooped up a bunch of tapes at 4 for £1. Among the titles I nabbed were the 80s classic "Just One of the Guys", "True Lies" and "The Nutty Professor". Not bad! If you need to pick up some lost classics, then Eastend Video 2 is the place for you.

There is probably some sort of protection money issue going on here but as far as dvd rental goes, you can't really go bad with Xtra-Vision. There is the biggest selection possible of new movies, games and sweets etc which is all you really need for a night in with your boyfriend or girlfriend. You are able to get deals that allow you to keep their good selection of old movies for about a week. There is an argument that Lovefilm.com is better than renting from here or even Sky Box Office is better, but if you just wanna go pick up a movie for a night in then you can't go bad. Its nice and close to main roads and has a small car park which can be a bit tricky to get in and out of if its busy.

I'm often sent on missions to find an obscure game which I can usually locate quickly. Prices are very good, particularly on dvds with boxsets starting from approximately £4! CEX also offer the facility to trade in your old technology, games and dvds. They will give you cash or instore credit but you need to bring in identification. As well as selling stuff they also buy your stuff off you once you have completed it or got bored with it or whatever so thats a pretty good service and they give you a pretty good price.
