I have a little tradition that as a Gemini I just can never decided on a tattoo because I'd want to change it the next day, month, year....that is just how I roll. So instead of being covered with tattoos or having one I didn't like as time dragged on, I had a Henna design applied to my skin and loved it! Lasting from two to three weeks it allows settling into a beautiful design without making a full time commitment to body art. Julie was an exceptional traditional artist and we had a great conversation about the art. My design was from wrist to elbow of a mixture of traditional Indian designs. It took over an hour to apply and I had a bandage on my arm for just shy of 24 hours, but a small price to pay for such lovely artwork. Julie has space in Woolworth Walk in the center of town and has a time for walk-ins on Saturdays from 1-5 (I think - don't hold me to that timeframe). She creates her art for weddings, pregnancies, or just for folks that love a little art on them - but not permanent. A true artist in this little town of mine.
