Terrible company. Bought a Tempur-pedic mattress there and tried sleeping on it for 30 days, but after 2 back surgeries within an 18 month period, I ended up in the spare bedroom on a $200 mattress that was more comfortable. Called to request a mattress "reselection" and was told I can't because I didn't buy a mattress protector AND pillows from them. So basically, I'm screwed. Stay away from these scumbags. If you're going to buy a mattress, go there to test them out and then buy it online. read more

bought 2 mattresses at the Ashley in Valdosta GA, said they would be delivered in 2 weeks, took a month. Both mattresses were returned and replaced with different ones for various reasons. Delivery fee was doubled on one mattress. Ordered a mattress pad with both mattresses, only one was in stock, the other was never delivered, and someone in the company forged my mother's signature and initials on the receipt that the mattress pad had been delivered. Manager was very rude. Happy with our new mattresses, but lesson learned on the service or lack thereof after payment was made. Will never buy from them again read more

Do NOT buy furniture from Ashley Furniture. We bought a sectional last year, which was delivered in August. The couch arrived with staples popped up in a few areas and the frame of the couch shifted out of place on the back of one side. Terrible customer service. We waited months to even get an answer of what to do from there. They sent a repair tech from Florida to look at it. After cancelling on us twice and telling his boss we cancelled on him, he finally showed up in November to take a look. The first time he cancelled and the second time he did not let us know. He didn't show up at all or call. He stated he wants to repair it instead of replace that half of the sectional. No contact since that day. We have left multiple voicemails with their online sales consultant and call back numbers for managers at the Tifton store. No returned calls. Please do NOT purchase from Ashley Furniture. They think a couch that we purchased new should be repaired after it arrive damaged. Again, terrible customer service. Waste of money. Save yourself the trouble. read more

This Ashley furniture store in Valdosta, Georgia is terrible to say the least. Their management is terrible, they do not call to let you know the status of your furniture. I bought a king bedroom set dressers and night stands on January 30, 2021 and if I wouldn't have called 3 months later on the status I wouldn't have known anything I paid in full the price and got crap service from these people I was told 8-12 weeks on delivery which was ok with me seeing we were building a new home well I called going into the 15th week and their manager got very snooty with me and matter if factly said I can give you a 10% discount and oh btw you can't get a refund you're stuck with us. We are now going on 5 1/2 months and they still don't have my furniture if this owner of this store is involved he should fire this manager and staff they're terrible DO NOT SHOP AT THIS ASHLEY they're terrible. read more

We ordered our furniture at the end of November of 2020, we settled on a couch that wasn't on back order and was told it would be here in the middle of January! Then was told beginning of February, end of February, beginning on March and was told today end of March! We found a couch at a different store that would be here in a week! So we went back to Ashley homestore to see about getting a refund on our couch! As we walk in we hear this white employee (a man) saying "what are they doing back they came in when y'all where at lunch " when we mentioned to the man who sold us our couch and other furniture we would like a refund on our couch this white lady (not wearing a mask) comes over and tells us "no refunds or exchanges. (And lot more just can't remember exactly what else was said at that time) " Which is okay but that attitude wasn't needed. When we went on to mention we have been waiting five months she says "you order at the end of November " still been waiting over 2 months past the time our furniture should of been here. When we asked for store credit she got rude with asking " when are you going to use it" WE just no longer wanted the couch. We have been waiting so long on something we settled for because it was the only thing Ashley didn't have on back order. This company should work on letting their customers know that something is pushed back! Definitely shouldn't be rude. I'm not sure who owns this business location but you definitely need to do some training with your employees on how not to be a bitch from the second a person walks in + inform the young white man to learn how to whisper if he's going to talk about customers/people. If you want respect, reliable delivery dates, and good customer service I definitely would look into a different store. We understand that with covid everything is backed up; but there is no reason to be rude after we have been nice and waiting for going on 4 months! read more

I walked in to look for some new furniture and began to walk around. It took 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me and even then the associate asked how I was and that's it. Didn't introduce himself or ask if I had any questions or looking for anything. After another 10 minutes of walking around I went to ask if they had a bed on the floor and he shook his head and stayed quiet. I'm staring at him for a response. I just walked out . 03/14/2018: We bought our furniture the previous Saturday and later that same day, we were contacted by the delivery department to coordinate a delivery date and time. Our furniture was actually delivered early, there was constant communication between all parties. I am a HUGE FAN of communication and everyone at Ashley did a GREAT JOB with communicating with me. read more

I was excited to get new bedroom furniture but the quality was not good and our overall experience terrible. First, shipped the wrong chest of drawers, they say we will get a call, no call. We call a couple of weeks later to get the status, the store knows nothing and quickly refers you to warehouse. Warehouse refers us back to store, just lovely. No show by the delivery guys. Call the store, refers to warehouse (again). New chest of drawers arrives. After they leave, I get a good look and notice the quality is terrible. Fake wood coming unglued and a bubble under the fake wood. We decided to go in person. At this point we are ready to return it all. The manager gave us a refund on delivery and ensured the 2nd chest of drawers would be looked over before delivering. Apparently didn't happen. This was months ago and I'm still waiting to get a new drawer and knobs. There is a drilled hole for the knob that is exposed and the actual know is way off center. Other knobs have the finish chipped off. Totally unacceptable. I guess I need to stop buy again because it has been months. read more

Wish I could rate this place as 0 stars! I bought a new sectional in March 2017. Frame broke on front section of the couch first part of July 2017. It is under warranty. Called the store right away, and have been on a nightmare roller coaster for the past 3 months. I have had to call over and over again to get any action. They eventually had a furniture repair guy come to fix it about a month ago. He said it couldn't be fixed because the main frame was bowed because of how it had sat broken so long. At that point, called manager and said they should come get the couch and I want a refund. Manager said no, they would replace it and have it delivered to me in less than 2 weeks. That was almost 4 weeks ago, and I am still waiting, Called this morning, and the manager said someone would call me right away from the warehouse to schedule delivery. Nada! I will NEVER buy anything from Ashley furniture again. I have spent about $6000 there this year, and the quality of the furniture and the customer service is horrible. Ugh! Ordered a bedroom set on 12/05/2016 and here were are on 02/06/2017 and still no idea where this bedroom set is at. At the time of purchases they informed us that it was a popular set and extremely back ordered, but should be delivered by the second week of January. Well here we're are 9 weeks after ordering date and still nothing. This is ridiculous, unprofessional, and extremely frustrating given no one has had the decency to call and inform of the delays. Currently waiting on store manager for a call back now; absolutely unacceptable and very much doubt we will purchase anything from this store ever again. HORRIBLE!!! Please go next door to Badcock, or a mile down the road is Turner's, even WALMART is better than this place. Ordered my furniture January 1st, here it is May 1st and I still have issues with both customer service (showroom and warehouse) and the quality of the furniture. I spent 9k and could have spent 900 for better furniture. The folks putting this junk together need to be drug tested. The delivery trucks are ALWAYS broken down. If they say they will call you with an update you better be prepared to perform customer service for them because they WONT be calling you. I can't say anything good about my experience with Ashley's Furniture. I'll never EVER recommend their junk product or lousy customer service to anyone. Update 5/4/17 - According to Sarah the piece ordered to replace the entertainment center that was put together incorrectly (the second of two pieces I ordered that was put together incorrectly, but the first to make the furniture not functional) has been "in warehouse" for over a week. Spoke to Cameron on Monday (today is Thursday) and he said when the warehouse is open on Tuesday he would drive the new piece to my home personally if he had to. I received a call from an unknown number at the end of the day Tuesday when I was watching a movie with my family and couldn't take the call. Apparently it was him but he neglected to leave a message (wonderful customer service). I hadn't heard from him by the end of the day yesterday so I text him and he responded that he had tried to call twice and no one answered and he would have to see IF the delivery time was still available. I don't think they could care less if the delivery time was convenient for me, but.... Not surprised. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I'll update again later with the contact information for the corporate office and the owner of this Ashley's Furniture, as they are independently owned and operated. So disappointed in Ashley Furniture. My boyfriend bought a sectional on 12/28/16. It's now been three weeks and we are finally supposed to received it tomorrow, 1/20/17. Thank goodness since we have been sitting on dining room chairs and folding chairs since 12/31/16. Ashley Furniture has proved that they do not know how to communicate with their customers. The best advice I can give is to make sure that you update your customers if there is a delay or a problem. Don't make them call you, you need to call them. If the owner is a decent person he or she would take an active role and make sure that the customer is served correctly and intervene if there are any problems.
