have had the absolute worst experience and it truly saddens me. I have been shopping with Ashley for years, when my husband passed this last month I decided to update our bedroom and dining set. First delivery comes and I get my dressers as we are waiting for the bed rails to come in. In comes my dining set with3 of the 4 chairs no idea where other chair is Heidi in the warehouse says call the store and figure it out. So I go to the store am told my chair went to Woodbridge by mistake and it will be delivered with the bed. OK I'm fine with that. So delivery day for the bed comes and no chair. Heidi again super helpful says she has no idea. I go to the store they are so sorry they have tracked it down it will be delivered tomorrow, guess what doesn't come the chair. I go to the store and Noone can find the chair or knows what happened to it. So they have me pick out 4 other chairs which none in store really match but what can I do. Saturday they are supposed to be delivered, 4 chairs arrive and they are not what was picked out driver says he cant get ahold of warehouse not his problem. I call store and am 20 minutes into holding and waiting for a resolution. Store manager so far days he cant come to phone as he is with another customer and I can just wait for a call back to figure it out. read more

I purchased a couch and love seat from Ashley's in fred'burg Va 22401 Central Park in Feb. 2025. It was damaged during delivery. On TWO separate occasions a tech was suppose to come out & fix it. Both times after taking off from work they cancelled the day of the repair through text messages. They then offer a new couch as a replacement. I took off to receive the "new" couch. It never made if off the truck B/c it had black marks throughout the material. The SECOND "new" couch offer never made it off the truck. There was a huge hole in the in the couch. The THIRD "new" couch made it off the truck to the parking lot and it wasnt a new couch at all because you could see where it had been repaired due to a difference in the material. THEN AGAIN a manager offered to see if she could get me a discount on the couch since I was using their credit system?card. She never called me back and when I attempted to reach her. I was again told a manager would reach out to me but guess what....lol read more

JUST...NO My how things have changed since then. Am so irritated right now I can't even say what I want succinctly enough. Ordered furniture in NOV on Veterans Day. At first was told a date in Dec 6 for delivery- was upset wouldn't have it before Thanksgiving but figured was ok at least would have it for Christmas. Come Dec 6 l after giving away my furniture to make room, I called to find out status because I hadn't heard from anyone. Could not get a hold if anyone- no one returned any calls- the receipt's link they sent me via email expired and when I called the 800 number they said my order could not be found. When I finally issued an ultimatum that I was just going to cancel it I got a call from out salesman who said it wouldn't be until Dec 27th!! To this I obviously had a vow because I was expecting a full house for Christmas, and now I would not have furniture for half of the people to sit on. After going back-and-forth with the salesman who was more concerned about a holiday party the Office was having then helping me I told him if I didn't hear anything from him by the end of the day that I was going to cancel the order and just go get another set that I saw at Big Lots that I wanted. At that time we left it off as he was going to go check into something and then get back to me. 24 to 48 hours. He did get back to me and said that they could have the furniture that week if that was still OK. We had already planned for it, and sadly I had fallen in love with it, so I said OK, we would wait it out. He did, however say that the ottoman we ordered with the furniture was on back order and that would not be in until January 6. He. In the interim my boyfriend had gone back and got me a bedroom set I had fallen in love with. So, when they delivered that I asked if they could check on the ottoman. At the time she said it was currently scheduled to be in on 16 January, and that I could go pick it up at the store. Come Jan 16 of course I had heard anything so I called, well started trying to call again, to try to find out the status of it, after having left four or five messages between the store and the customer service number, which apparently was closed on Monday during the hours that it said it was going to be open, I just kept calling until I finally got a hold of someone who was cold, callous, and unsympathetic, who then told me that the Ottoman would not be in until later this week.... This place has some pretty awesome furniture but unless you don't care when it comes and don't mind waiting for 3-6 months and if you don't mind people Being nasty to you when trying to follow up and track it down- and if you don't mind being lied to, then go for it. One possible Way of avoiding this all together is ONLY by ordering things that are in stock. The lady we spoke to to confirm delivery of our basement and bedroom was great, nice, sweet and very helpful - but the store, the reps, and the process of finding out statuses of stuff... yea ... just ... no. Forgot to post- since then I got a call back and was told that it was in at the warehouse and ready for pick up but they are closed today. I told him that's not what I was told earlier today. I was told that it wouldn't be in until later this week and that I would come to the store and pick it up. He said it doesn't work that way and why would they say that- I said well you all have so far said many things that weren't accurate. But he insisted I was lying. So yea, there's that too. read more

Avoid purchasing anything from these crooks if you can. I went in a year ago to replace a couch that was destroyed by a dog. When I was looking I explained that to the salesperson and he said I needed the extended warranty and it would cover dog damage. So I agreed to the purchase and bought a couch, a loveseat, and the warranty that I was assured would cover dog damage. and the warranty, had the furniture delivered, and like clockwork, my dog chewed it up. My nightmare began when I went to file a claim to get my furniture repaired as I was under the impression was covered. I was told that I was S out of luck and I was lied to by the salesperson who no longer works there. After back and forth with them, I accepted the fact that they were crooked liars and I was out on a couch. One day, I sat on my loveseat and the wood that goes across the back broke on me. I posted it on twitter, and after a back-and-forth with them. They sent me an email claiming that my dog broke it and it wasn't covered. Go elsewhere for your furniture needs, and if you do buy from them, get it all in writing. The deserve to go bankrupt and forced to close for their deceptive practices. read more

We called customer service and experienced the rudest human being who spoke to us like we were dirt. We found out that this person is actually a supervisor at Ashley's. With that kind of leadership I can see why the ratings are so bad for this branch of Ashley's. We called and left numerous messages to her superior and that individual never returned our call. Was told on the phone 3 once with customer care, and twice with the store, and then 3 times with the store in one day , all these times my order was all set to pick up from store and then on the day I went to get it I called and they told me I was unable to pick up from store .
