The call center is very good here. I also liked my salesperson, Will. We met in Northfield location and I went out of my way to give him my business. Once sale was complete, he never answered back texts. So, good transaction for him. Not so great for me. I would have spent several thousands of dollars here because I found furniture that I liked. But the way I was followed throughout my visit and hounded while trying to speak to my husband about it wasn't worth it. The employees are bloodsucking hounds that won't give you a chance to breathe. This review is for a coffee cart i ordered. I put it together and the next day, the cheap drawer ripped right off another piece. I tried using the message support on yhe website and that was a waste of time. You will get a rep on the end that disconnects you and doesnt give af about your order. Then i call. Some guy kevin acted like he was concerned and told me he would get that replacement piece sent out to me. Never did. 6 weeks later i got a defect item still and zero help. Do NOT buy the extended warranty. It's a waste of time and money. When you call they have the folks on the other end of the phone say that it's not a warranty issue no matter what you say. I had to get rough with this lady on the other side that said she had been working for the company 10 years and knew that my issue was not a warranty covered issue. I asked her how she knew I she wasn't a repair person and wasn't seeing the piece of furniture to diagnose the problem. The warranty that Ashley sells is absolutely awful.. I have a $2500 sectional that ripped at the seam and the warranty company never calls and is trying to get out of fixing the product.. avoid this company at all costs.. I paid $250 for a warranty that is not being honored!! Just found out Ashley Furniture is actually Value City Furniture and I would have never paid that much for crap!! read more

Delivery was terrible. First, they hardly speaka 'da english. Trying to understand them was a challenge. Then they didn't have any tools but a tiny screwdriver so I had to lend them my power drill then, they were slow moving so I had to help put the furniture together. Then... They left a ton of garbage in my yard and in the street and tore up my grass. When they left, an individual from the warehouse called for a review of the service. When I called her back the next day, she had no idea what I was talking about, told me to call back the number I called and 'maybe they can help' when I told her that was the numer, she had no response and couldn't figure out what to say. She also made it sound like she had to go through alot of trouble to find out who it was 'if I really wanted to complain." No complaints about the furniture except for a dent in a end table - more on that later. read more

I'm not a huge fan of this franchise, but the prices are right. We were in the market for a daybed and we found one that was liked by the one who would use it. It fit my budget. Not a big fan of the construction, but I do think it will last (unlike the recliner I purchased from here). Delivery guys were good and efficient setting up the bed. We have purchased a bedroom set for my daughter here. That was okay stuff. We may have purchased my son's bed from here too. That is okay. The recliner is not good at all. Will purchase "my" furniture elsewhere. read more

I purchased sever dozen items from Ashley's over the years but with this particular store's their delivery team and some of their staff are extremely unprofessional. I caution anyone who buys from here they may not get a confirmation call and be charged a redelivery fee. If ur lucky, they may offer free re-delivery and all you have to do is reschedule your entire day to accommodate, but hey! Their doing you the favor. I strongly suggest going to the another Ashley's for purchases. read more

Bought a kitchen table and 6 bar stools. Kitchen table delivered with two places that were slightly warped under the lacquer and one of the stools was marked as noted on the delivery receipt. Called the service department. Scheduled 2 visits for repair and then got a call stating they switched 3rd party service providers and had to reschedule. After several weeks a guy shows up and says the table needs extensive work. Ashley's service dept calls and says it's not covered. We reply with, really? We also bought the 5 year protection plan that covers everything. Ashley's response was oh well.... Have your attorney call us.. Never heard of customer service like this after being in that field for 34 years. I will take it further and win. Trust me. Not laying down for a company that doesn't stand behind their products or honor their extended service agreements. I have all the evidence possible. Their service department tried to say that we made the damage under the lacquer.. This will be an easy one but beware of who you are dealing with when making a furniture purchase decision. read more

We went into Ashley and our sales person was Dwayne Johnson. The couch we picked out was supposed to have a pull out bed in it. When the couch was delivered there was no pull out. I spoke to Dwayne and he said nothing he could do about it. I called corporate and received no contact back. I will never purchase another thing from Ashley and will be submitting a formal complaint against Dwayne as he lied to us. read more

I purchased an imitation leather couch and recliner in September of 2012. The right side of the couch, everyone's favorite spot, is cracking and pealing from normal wear. I called customer service and they said I didn't purchase the warranty so nothing can be done and I should have used leather cleaner to prevent this. The quality of this couch is extremely poor if it is only lasts 3 years with normal use. Stay far away from this product at Ashley furniture stores if you intend to actually sit on it. Like throwing money out the window. We bought reclining love seat and couch and the extended warranty. Within months we started having problems with the recliners not closing easily. After 10 months part of one recliner had broke and I could no longer close it. I called for warranty repair and got passed off to different numbers for me to call. I finally got a hold of repairman's office. I was told the repairman would call me about an appointment. I was not home when he called but he left an appointment date. No one was going to be home at the time so I called to reschedule. On the day of the original appointment, (when no one was home) the repairman called and left a message that he was coming by for the repair because he had a cancellation (which was me). Then left me another message about "How we had a scheduled appointment, and I should have canceled if I wasn't going to be home and how I would have to "TRY" and schedule another appointment". After calling the office a few more times, leaving messages and not getting call backs, I called the home store and talked to the salesman who said he would call and get it taken care of. About a week later there was a message on my phone from the repairman saying how he stopped by to find no one home, (never scheduling an appointment), and with the same speech about how I should have canceled. Needless to say, years later I have recliners wire tied together so that they stay closed. read more
