I would leave no stars but that is not an option. I ordered two couches, a table with 4 chairs and a bench, plus spent "extra" to get their "deal" of adding on a rug, dining sets, and place mats. Well, I made that order in mid December and I have had so much trouble getting any of my products. They were almost two weeks late delivering the furniture with no remorse for the delay and now is is the end of February and I am still missing part of my order. I have called multiple times, speaking to multiple people from multiple places and they almost always said "the order is being waited on being back in stock and that as soon as it comes in we will ship it." I want my order!!!! Terrible customer service. I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star! I ordered a recliner for my disabled mom in early October, delivery date was 10/23. I was receiving texts that they are preparing my order and was given a time frame when it was going to be delivered. On 10/23, as a day I requested off to prepare for delivery, it's getting close to the end of time frame, there was no delivery!!! Called the number on their texts and someone told me it was will be delayed until 11/6!!! I was so irritated because I didn't get any notifications of delay! So I went to the store to complain and see if they can push delivery sooner than the delayed date. A female employee called me and left me a message that they will deliver 10/31 now. On 10/31 no deliver again! I Went to the store and just canceled my order. Their delivery department is awful. Their customer numbers are horrible, was on hold for a long time without anyone answering. The employees there don't seem to be apologetic about about any hassles. So, I called to cancel my order this morning, and the " help " said that she cancelled my order and would send me a cancellation email confirming my cancellation. That was at 9:00 a,m, this morning. Well I haven't received it, so I called the store to find out why, and they said it hadn't been cancelled. Unbelievable !!! So I had to yell at the person. So the rep I talked to emails me a typed letter with no letterhead, no address of the store, no phone number, nor does it state how I will be reimbursed. And, he says that he will have the rep take care of the cancellation in the morning. I said, " no, that is completely unacceptable. Never buy from here again!! I bought a bedroom set for my son I set up the delivery for three weeks out. The day they delivered they change my time on me twice. I had to change my work schedule to accommodate the first time I could not change it again for the second time so I had to get my brother to come from out of town to come sit at my house for my delivery. They came out and forgot the hardware, seriously?! They could not put the bed together not only that the sales woman in the store sold me the wrong foundation. They scheduled to come out a second time they still Had the wrong foundation scheduled for delivery, I had to call twice and go into the store to get it situated, even though they confirmed with me they ordered the right one with the hardware. A Week later second visit happens they were told they are just dropping off the foundation they have no hardware so and can't put the bed together. I Talk to the people in the dispatch went to the store again and they assured me that they were going to have a third delivery they were going to bring the hardware and assemble the bed. They were set up to come between 3 PM to 7 PM, I even got a call from one of the guys at the dispatch office to let me know The hardware was left on his desk and he drove it to my house and told me they should be here in two hours to assemble the bed. About 8:45 PM I decided to call the phone number of the person on my tracker, the delivery driver, he went on to tell me that he was not scheduled to come to my house and that he was done for the evening and he did not know what I was talking about I tried to explain to him that's how I got his phone number and that he was supposed to come and assemble this bed, he had no idea what I was talking about and that he had no more deliveries. Though i got plenty of email confirmations and a phone call and text message confirmation from their dispatch. I was planning on ordering a bedroom set for myself as well as living room furniture but I would not order anything else from this place. They are on organized and they do not have communication with each other or with the buyer. And when you called to talk about your concerns they have no time for you at all! read more

If I could give this location a zero I would. I ordered a dinnette set in December and as of February I still do not have all of the pieces they charged me for. On top of that they charged me twice ( a month later) on my Ashley Credit account for items I have not received as of yet. You can never get a manager on the phone and their corporate office can't help and keeps contacting the store each time I call. The corporate office says I have to deal with the store and they can't fix the 2nd charge or refund thebitems that I have not received. Beware of shopping here. This was my first and last time. This review is not necessarily a review of the Trinity Parkway store, rather it is a review of all the problems I have had with Ashley Furniture in general. All of their furniture is made in China, and that should tell you something immediately--there is no quality. One of the barstools I purchased broke loose from the seat. A dining room chair loosened where the back rest is screwed into to the seat, and a bookshelf shelf broke where it rests on the metal push-in. I have probably been confined to my home for no less than 16 hours waiting for "technicians" who have a 4-hour window to make it to your home. If you live in Stockton, you are better off, in my opinion, going to one of the "mom and pop" furniture stores which also sell you Chinese-made furniture but at least the customer service is somewhat better. read more

Usually your in awe and wow mode when you see a new store you've never seen before. Ashley's is one of those stores that reels you in and once you pay it's a thank you and get kicked out the door. Beginning of January 2017 me and the wife went into see about a new bed we've needed. We found one which thought was a good price and decided on it. They promised the bed delivered 20 days later as that was the next available. We agreed and the day of delivery we got a call saying they didn't have our bed. I go in and talk to them about the bed and promised delivery a week later between 2p-6p. The day as I write this is the day of delivery. Luckily for me someone was at home and delivered at 11a instead of the time that was set. The store is nice but the business part is in shambles and horrible. 2 days off I took off from work with 1 day without a bed. Stay away from this place and I hope they fall apart and go away. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! When you sell something you promise to deliver it. I ordered in November right after the store opened. I purchased 3 sets that were set to be delivered early December. It is January 6 and I am STILL missing pieces from every room. I have dealt with a broken table, pieces of my order being cancelled, items being on back order (never communicated to me until they didn't show up on the delivery truck) and delivery drivers not showing up after I've waited all day and they won't bring it the next day because they are too busy. Very disappointing. They are so busy selling and collecting your money that they don't care what happens next! read more

The first time I went to Ashley I was there for 30min no one help us, not even a look so I left but with a couch in mind. The second time after 30 more min I walk towards the center to ask for help this nice woman ask for assistance in my favor a short elderly woman with glasses responded, "I'm not busy".... Worse customer service EVER. Specifically from the Managers!! The sales Agent, TJ told me she could price match other Ashley furniture so we happen to find an Ashley couch we liked. So as we were getting ready to take advantage of the 0% financing, I questioned if were going to for sure be able match the price BEFORE running my credit and was told it would be price matched. After my credit was ran AND approved the Manager came over quite rudely and would not price match, needless to say we left with no couch and approved credit that I will NEVER USE. This was our 3rd visit in a month to Ashley's as we had been looking for a couch. The first time my husband got the Managers card, Anthony who would never call my husband back. We put that aside, as we still wanted to possibly get a couch from Ashley but after the third time of horrible customer service we will NEVER DO BUSINESS AT ASHLEYS FURNITURE and I will tell everyone I have the opportunity to tell the same thing. My husband called the corporate office the next day and guess who called him back after he complained with corporate.... YEP, Anthony the Manager. However, my husband was at work and denied his call as he was working. Anthony proceeded to call many times back to back interrupting my husbands job. When my husband finally answered and told him he was at work Anthony wanted to debate how many calls he made in a row to my husband. This review is for the Ashley furniture store on Trinity Parkway in Stockton. The first part of July I purchased a sofa and 2 matching recliners. The delivery was set for the following Sunday. The delivery was rescheduled the night before the Sunday, by the warehouse, and no Sunday delivery occurred. I then was told the delivery was set for the following Monday, and ALL pieces I ordered was in-per the warehouse. Delivery driver arrives on Monday and only has the couch. No matching recliners (2) that I ordered. Now I don't know if the recliners will match the sofa? The sofa looks much darker than the one on the showroom floor! I was told the recliner chairs were on back order. I originally was informed all pieces would be delivered. After numerous phone calls, emails, and waiting, the issue is not resolved. When you call the warehouse they'll either let the phone just ring or if you can get someone, the supervisor won't call you back. The store customer service person can't do anything because the warehouse has to be involved, but they won't make it right. Additionally I was told by the sales person the furniture is made here in America, but when the couch came off the truck, the wrapping said, "made in Vietnam." This has been a very bad experience for us, and I just don't think Ashley really cares. I tried to complain to the corporate office in Wisconsin, and they referred me back to the store! This reminds me of trying to complain about the USPS. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, one star is too generous! So sad!!! read more

My husband and I decided to check this store out for living room and bedroom furniture the weekend before Memorial Day. The lady at the lectern as we walked in was pleasant and offered us her card if we needed help or had questions; we appreciated that. We had just started looking at the living room groups when we were approached again by a salesman, politely told him we were being helped and didn't have any questions. We politely told him we would like to look and would find him or Brenda when we had a question. He stated he understood and would respect that and walked away. Three minutes later he interrupts us again to tell us about the sales coming up, great, thank you. We politely listen and excuse ourselves to continue looking. As we are trying to look at the room groups he is lurking and following us around, how rude and unsettling. No more than three minutes later here he comes again, this time to tell us how we can mix and match the deals they offer; ok great, thank you. After about six times interrupting us, frequent stories about how he will treat us not as customers, but as his family, or he will give us 30% off the items in the package deal if we want to change anything, and stories about his vacations we gave up shopping for furniture. We tried going to the other side of the store to discuss two room groups we liked but he continued to stalk and interrupt us with the much over used phrase, "I know you said you wanted to shop and would find me if you had questions, but I just thought I would mention..." After the frequent interruptions, push for us to do a credit app, and obvious not wanting to answer my one question about the, "real bonded leather" notation on a sales tag I was frustrated and no longer interested in shopping this store. We knew what we wanted, we're paying in cash and didn't need the credit option, hence we declined the offer many times, and don't like to be swarmed by sales people. We were in the middle of looking at a living room group when my husband took out his cell phone to look at our room measurements when he interrupted us again. He had the audacity to tell my husband, "no cell phones are allowed in the store, no pictures, I have mine only to figure out great deals for customers like yourself." With that last and final interruption we both had had enough and walked out of the store. I understand the need to make a sale, but for Pete sakes, give your customers some space ! This store has the worst customer service ever!! I purchased a dining set back in october we are now in February and i still have not received nothing. I had received one in october damaged. I took back to the warehouse and they just keep telling me its on back order. When they do get them in they never call me to pick it up. The warehouse made a mistake on my order and they put a hold on my account sating i owed them money. I paid my account in full!! I didnt finance anything. They final cleared my account. I went to the store requested a refund after i had done it over the phone, which the girl never began the process. Now 2 weeks later they are telling me again that i owe money again and they have to wait for the warehouse to clear it so that i can get my money back. It is so so ridiculous that i need to go down to the store and the warehouse to get my money back. They are just bullshitting me and playing games!! I dont recommend noone to shop here. Our initial experience with David Bastos was very good, we took my mom to get a couch and ended up purchasing one our selves. Everything went well until delivery, since we live on the same street as my mom they would be delivered at the same time, well I got mine first thing in the morning, my mom waited and waited and finally called and was told her order was canceled, no one called to tell her, she called and talked to 4 different people all said they would call her back, it's 7:00 pm and no phone has called. We were told to make sure the old couch gone when they delivered which we did but now my mom's brother and his family are going to be here tomorrow from out of state and no place to sit. I called for my mom and of course was upset that they didn't have the courtesy to call I apologized to the girl because it's not her fault but when she told me to call back later when their system was up, I said why doesn't someone there call her back she spent a pretty penny, they hung up on me. October of 2017 I was send a bill from the credit card company called and talk to the manager the $83 that they charge to my account without my knowledge was suppose to be reimburse. November 2017 the charge was still in my account yet again I call and it was supposed to be handle. Now we r in February almost March and the issue still has not been resolved. I called multiple times n manager has not called back now the $83 has went up to $150 n all they can do is give me back the $83 they wrongfully charge to the account. With a newborn n toddler having to deal with this is not right. I will never purchase from these scammers I wouldn't knowing they will just charge my account after I have had my furniture for 5-6 months isn't right. read more

If you decide to buy here, make sure to read the contract carefully. Make sure they give you something in writing for you to cancel your order or partial order, for extensive delivery delays. You see, they will deliver partial order and then you are stuck waiting for the rest of it. I suspect they take a set and split it between different customers and then they all end up waiting. Make sure to get the full order or none. Otherwise, once a piece of furniture gets to your house, you own it. We are not talking delays in days, it's weeks and possibly Months. We are still waiting on the rest of our order to come in, it's been over 2 months now. The store management won't return your calls. They are so busy sticking it to the next victims. People answering the phones are not trained in customer services and seem to heard it all. They are rude and liars. Their delivery dates are simply bogus. These problems are not unique to this store. I will NEVER EVER EVER do business with Ashley Furniture. I purchased a bed for my son which was suppose to be a surprise/Christmas gift. The bed was to be delivered on 12/20 ordered on 12/9. All day long I'm getting text messages with updates and at around 6:30pm I get a call that the driver is running late they should be there no later than 7:15pm. I said great. 8:00 or so rolls around the driver shows up brings in the bed and goes on to say that they don't have all the pieces so they can't assemble the bed... WT* you mean I had my daughter wait around ALL day and you don't have all the pieces. I'm confused and PISSED off. The driver gets dispatch on the phone and they advise me to refuse the delivery and she will put in on the delivery on Friday (today). Well guess what it was never scheduled and NO ONE knows what the hell is going on. The store isn't answering the phone and customer care can't do anything but put it on the schedule for next week. I've purchased furniture in the past from Ashley in ABQ, NM and was very happy with the furniture and customer service. So, when I needed 2 additional chairs for my dining room table after relocating to CA I went to this store. I was completely ignored. Multiple salespeople walked right past me without even acknowledging me. Finally, I went to the order desk and said I wanted to purchase two chairs and gave them the information. I said no one was interested in selling furniture to me so the manager at the desk put the order in. She apologized for the sales people's behavior and placed the order. She gave me a $50 gift card for the inconvenience that I promptly gave to a coworker. I told her I've shopped at Ashley multiple times and this is one of the worst. The chairs were ordered and delivered to my house several weeks later. The delivery person was also rude. He actually argued with both my mother and I about a chair not being level. It was quite obvious that this man has a problem with women. I threw him out of my house. I told him how dare you speak to us like this in my own home? I contacted the corporate office and they made a half-hearted attempt to contact me and then I never heard from them. Well, I needed a new living room set a couple months ago and based on this experience (and the fact that the couch I purchased from Ashley 2 years ago is now going flat) I went to Ethan Allen. What a difference! Someone welcomed me to the store and helped me pick out furniture, fabric, accessories. I spent quite a bit of money on new living room and dining room furniture for my new home. Ashley got its wish- I took my business and my money elsewhere! I guess it's acceptable to treat customers like garbage especially if you've decided that someone doesn't have enough money to be bothered with. My experience I recently had is so unsatisfying so I felt the need to give a review, which is something I never do. To start out, it wasn't as bad. Purchasing our couches was great. The lady that helped us was very nice. It was the receiving out couches part that was ridiculous. We had told them when we purchased the couches that we wanted to pick them up from the warehouse. They then gave us the address and number for the warehouse which was in Sacramento. I had called the number for the warehouse multiple times a week before the pick up date but there was no answer so I left messages. Then when the day came to pick up the couches we found out the warehouse was moved to to Lathrop. We then called and they offered to deliver but not until almost a week after we had arranged to pick them up. They then told me the delivery window would be 3-7pm. Which I had said I work until 6 so 6:15 or later would work best but they said that they couldn't promise that time. So I had a friend wait at my house starting at 2:45. And once I got home from work at 6:15, still no couches. I then called and they said closer to after 7. The couches did not arrive until 9:10. I had someone take time out of there day to wait for no reason. I missed out on my grocery shopping that I needed to do. I didn't get to shower or make dinner until 9:30 because I didn't want to be doing such when they arrived. Which led me to then go to bed late. This is the absolute worst store that I have ever dealt with period. First of all we purchase over $5500.00 and that was after the 30% off, as we were walking out the door we were handed a flyer that said on Friday everything in the store would be 50% off. This was on a Wednesday night. So we called Thursday morning to cancel and they told us they would refund the difference if we didn't cancel. So we go in on Friday to get the refund and find out that they charged us for warranty protection that we refuse at the time of sale. Later they charge us again for an extra delivery charge after they delivered the furniture. One of the pieces was damaged so we refused it and one was on backorder. So they deliver the backordered dresser and charged us another delivery charge. We go in to get credited on the extended warranty and the extra delivery charges and now it is over a month later and still no credit on the account. We look on the account and there is another charge on the credit card for $280.00 for the extended warranty (not a credit). No credit for the delivery charge yet either. Called the credit card company and put in a dispute. The credit card company said to call the Ashley store of Stockton and if they issue a credit that we would see it within 7 working days. So we call the manager and he said that credits take 3 billing periods, so I asked him how long is 3 billing periods and he replies 3 months (REALLY) the extra charge that they put on my wife's account was there in 2 days. My wife told him that is why ever review she has read has been negative and his reply was (we're still in business). Calling corporate office today!!!! I posted on their FB page as well: In June, we pre purchased an entire living room set and dining table and chairs from Ashley Furniture in Stockton, CA. We paid cash and scheduled a delivery appt for our upcoming move on 7/19. We rec'd a confirmation advising that delivery would be on 7/19 with a window of 9:15 - pm2:15. They were a no show and late in the day, I got a call from their dispatch advising me that the truck was hijacked, the driver assaulted and our furniture was stolen. I believe this to be lie #1. I could not get anyone to call me back on this issue and when I did get someone, they would immediately switch me to a line that would only ring, no one ever answered. This went on and on. I then was told that the next delivery appt would need to be 8/2. They refused to budge on this date. On 8/1 I contacted them and was told delivery was changed to Sunday 8/5! Really? A sunday delivery. My husband had to drive to Stockton and deal directly with the manager who promised that he would set up a special delivery on 8/2 as promised. I received a confirmation of the 8/2 delivery with a window of 2pm-6pm. Again they never showed. I got a call from their dispatch saying they were running late and were leaving Vallejo and would deliver between 8pm and 10pm. I got another call saying now that the truck had a flat tire and delivery would be 11pm-12AM. Then one more call to tell me that the rim on the truck was damaged and would not deliver at all. This is the worst, incompetent POS outfit I have ever encounted and I'm telling anyone who will listen that once they sell you something, they want nothing to do with you afterward. OMG....Before I get started, let me say that I ordered a sectional couch and the salesman and delivery were good. BUT being I had a good encounter, does not help with my recent order. I ordered a large TV stand online from Ashley. Paid in full. It was scheduled to be delivered 4 days before Christmas. I took the day off of work to be home for the delivery. I received a voice message from Ashley about three days before to confirm delivery. Then about 2 days before, a voice recorded message told me the delivery would be between 2:30 and 6:30. The day before delivery, I got a text message that the time has been changed to between 3:00 and 7:00. Ok, no big deal! I took the day off and moved my old TV stand out of the way, had taken all the DVD's out from the bottom, disconnected everything and moved the old one forward, out of the way for the new stand. Knowing it would be here between 3 and 6, I was ready. At about 1:30 (an hour and a half) before delivery, I get a phone call from one of the delivery guys to tell me it was not in their wherehouse and will not be delivered when promised. Really???? I freakin took the day off of work, moved and disconnected everything, for WHAT??? I called customer service and all I got was, "Oh I'm sorry, its on back order. BACK ORDER??? AND YOU ARE JUST NOW FINDING THAT OUT? SERIOUSLY? WHO IS RUNNING THE SHOW OVER THERE? Now they are telling me it won't be in until after Christmas. UNFREAKIN BELIEVABLE! Pissed??? Yes I am. The only reason they got 2 stars was for my first purchase. For the TV Stand purchase, they would get a big fat "0". And the worst part of all of this? My wife and I purchased $9, 000 worth of furniture from the Ashley's Store in Folsom, Calif. This purchase was made in October, 2016. We were told that all items would be ready for delivery to our new home in early January, 2017. Our salesperson at the time of purchase was Lauri, who assure us that we would have things on time and that she personally would make sure that the furniture was in their local warehouse by late December. So, of course, Lauri failed to follow through. So since we had not been contacted and provided with any follow-up information to set up delivery, we called the store last night. I was told they didn't have the furniture and it could not be available until the end of January. I asked to speak with the manager and was told that he was not available, that he himself was out delivering furniture.....REALLY??? WTH??. We live relatively close by so in the car we go and headed to Ashley's. Once there we again explained our problem to a random salesperson, who then disappeared for about 20-minutes, returning with the news that they could not locate our large order. What was incredible to us is that they were not the least bit concerned or helpful to resolve this problem.....distressing. I then asked to speak with the person in charge. Another 20-minutes passed and a guy in a suit presented himself as Roberto, the District Manager. He verified that he couldn't locate all of our purchased items and had no explanation or comforting options. As a matter of fact he was disconnected from our issue and short in conversation, bordering on rude. We paid cash for the furniture at the time we ordered it, so I told him to refund our money and cancel the NINE THOUSAND DOLLAR order. He didn't even blink or look my direction. I repeated my demand and he said, "Yeah, let's just do that'. AMAZING!! Ashley's had almost three months to round up our purchase and have it ready for the pre-scheduled delivery time. They failed miserably. Not only that, but they literally could give a crap less about the large purchase flying out the window or more importantly to me, the fact that they have caused us great inconvenience in furnishing our new home in a timely manner, now having to shop elsewhere for those similar items. I will never again break the doorway of an Ashley's place of business. It was not worth the one-star I gave in this review, but you cannot pick negative-10 stars.
