I have bought many pieces from here, normally for my girlfriends' significant birthdays. The chap who runs the shop doesn't rush you and is more than happy to take piece after piece after piece back to original piece (I'm an indecisive shopper) out of the cabinets. He has plenty of knowledge about the designer and takes the time to wrap everything perfectly including any relevant literature. If you are looking for something a little bit unusual, totally unique and stunning in the jewellery stakes I'd start here.

There are also necklaces here for men, women and children so there is something for everyone. The jewellery shop is a decent sized shop and again the front doors are securely locked before you can enter and there is also CCTV. My parents are fans of the jewellery on offer and so am I. There is a broad range of jewellery to choose from and I would come back. There are items I feel that are overpriced but then again there are items that are well worth the money in my opinion. Staff know their jewellery products inside out and they will offer their thoughts and views on what you might want to purchase. Decent jewellery shop in my view.

Aashiqui is one of the latter and has been a well-established business in the local area. It specialises in bright and "bulky" fashion, by which I mean the embroidery is quite garish and bold with plastic stonework, which I am not a fan of. I felt their clothing was overpriced for the lack of quality in fabric and detail. The clothes look very generic and lack style. They sell sarees, lenghas, salwar suits and some trouser suits. It's a family business so there's an informal style to their customer service. They are very accommodating and helpful. If you mention what you're looking for and your budget, they'll point you in the right direction without up-selling higher priced items.

He was a sweet talker when he sold us the bangles but absolutely rude talker, with no sense of speaking to his customers when we complained to him about the utter disgraceful quality of the material he is selling. Shakespeare Hospice is spread in several areas of Warwickshire and the clothing and jewellery find there follow the outstanding pattern from some boutiques. As I am a bit weird in my choices I was more interested to bring back home, as quick as possible, two editions of Jeff Lindsay books ( £ 1.50 each) which I have the Portuguese versions in Brazil. As well as I started a very careful hunting for some gorgeous bracelets ( 50 pence each) available in the shop. I am also still dreaming about all jewellery that shop sells. It's posh and the service is just wonderful. An as well posh lady with a smile on her face served me which was something really nice but I still think she didn't know I was buying books about the history of a very pop serial killer. Anyway, Shakespeare Hospice at Henley-in-Arden is definitely a shop to visit in this picturesque village.

The store has six floors including two cafes and multiple floors with toilets - Click and Collect (online orders) is conveniently on the ground floor in case you're in a hurry and don't want to navigate throughout the whole store, which can be a little awkward as this isn't something you'd expect to do from a book shop. The staff seemed disinterested which is a shame, and not too willing to help and with a book store as big as this one - it is something you'd often need to enhance the experience from book recommendations to finding a book if you already have one in mind - they do have writing on "recommended" books but unlike other stores these are newspaper quotes which every book seems to have which are easily found online or even on the book its-self once you pick it up - I mean come on, are the staff literate with a passion for books and customer service? PERSONALISATION. Other than the size of the store, it doesn't really stand out - the store seems to follow the newer and more modern layout Waterstones are slowly rolling out (sadly this hasn't arrived in my home town of Manchester yet!) 3* based on a great central location in Birmingham and huge size over multiple floors, the layout and slightly cramped nature of the ground floor and disinterested staff really is a shame because without it the store could even warrant a high four-star rating.

Anything you can think of you will find and if they dont stock it they will search to see if its at the New Street branch (the other large store) or order it in for you. There is a Costa Coffee on the first floor and the 4th floor has a large floor space dedicated to travel and the world. As you walk across to pay for your purchase you get a nice view of inside the Pavillions and as you take the glass elevator back down you get a whirl wind view of New Street :-)

However, leave your inhibitions at the door and go into Bella Donna, as it's a surprisingly swanky shop, with a select few rails showcasing a few luxurious garments, with a clear emphasis on quality over quantity. The shop is filled with modern, chic clothing and jewellery, all conforming to the latest trends and fashions (I'm reliably informed by my girlfriend that chunky bracelets and necklaces are 'in' at the moment, and Bella Donna certainly has these in abundance). As you'd expect, the prices are by no means the cheapest, with much of the jewellery going for around £25, although they had some very reasonably priced sale items, such as jeans for £23, and they also have an 80% clearance rail that's worth checking out if you're in the hunt for a bargain. Proof that you don't need to go into the centre of the city to find high end shops.
