There are some incredibly inspiring yogis that go here on a regular basis...people overcoming huge physical and emotional challenges. Also, there are probably more people over 50 than I've seen at other studios. Don't try to make excuses for yourself because of your age! You might be standing next to someone in their 60's. There is one student that is 81 and she started last year! Sandy is a great owner. The studio is always clean and it does not have that Eua du Bikram "fragrance" that other studios have. I'd highly recommend this studio to new and experienced students.

This is a great way to start your practice. The teachers are accommodating, encouraging and keep the students motivated especially if you're new to Bikram Yoga! Definitely worth a try...

It is a small studio with just four machines, which means that everything feels personal. The instructors are SO nice (major props to Karen and Sabrina!), and it is the first time I have ever been excited to go work out. They also have lovely gatherings for the community, like coffee walks and potlucks, which is a really nice touch. OBP is more like a community than a gym, and that is really wonderful. Plus, I am getting an awesome workout on the Reformer!

The outdoor class wasn't purely yoga and it was more like a HIIT class, and it was good to switch up my routine. I enjoyed that outdoor class and as a complimentary offer, they gave everyone a 1 week free pass to their studio. I don't often pass up free passes, so today I figured I would come in and check out their sculpt class. I have taken plenty of yoga classes, but just never a sculpt class, so that was fun to try something new. The studio and reception area are all in one big room and when I stepped in a little before 5pm, I was greeted by very loud thumping music as the class before was still going on and it's interesting that this place does not have some kind of sound divider between where the class is taught and where you check in/lounge area. So that felt a bit awkward for me, but not a big deal. Staff here are nice and helpful. There is one bathroom and I was able to change there before class. Storage area is small, but still very manageable. The studio does provide mats for you, but I didn't know that and had already brought my own, which the staff allowed me to use during class. It's recommended to start with 2 lb weights for sculpt class, which worked out fine for me. Blocks, mats, weights are all provided for you and a water station also available. The class was well taught and I definitely got a great, sweaty workout and I did enjoy the high tempo pop music that accompanied the class. Only issue was that the instructor's microphone did get a bit staticky during class. I also really like that this studio has mirrors on two sides of their wall and with ballet bars. Having mirrors in class really helps you to realign yourself properly. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will sign up for a few more classes and check out some other styles. If you like a high energy workout with good instruction and don't mind a one room experience, this could "work out" for you (no pun intended), as it did for me!

Nagging problems finally felt good again in my knees. More of that to come. The hip compressions are amazing for glutes hips and thighs. Next I experienced cold plunge and hot tube. They have 34 degrees through 50. That is like having a spa and rejuvenation day all in one. They have much more like sauna, personal ones, red light therapy and more. 10 out of 10 recommend!
