A word of warning to my American friends: German Chinese food is very different from American Chinese food, so come here with an open mind. The hot and sours soup is phenomenal, albeit very different from the American version. The menu is extensive and heavy on morels, bamboo, pork and duck. Entrees are placed on a warming dish in the middle of the table, making sharing easy. For dessert I highly recommend the fried bananas with honey (also very different from the American dish by the same name).

We chose the HotPot, where you simmer/cook various types of meat (e.g. beef, chicken, lamb and so on) or fish (e.g. crabs, squid and so on) in a hot or chicken soup.
