The restaurant was actually bigger than I imagined and much better decorated. It looked just like a prefect place to have a meal. The location is just great, very close to all the famous sights in Dresden. I really enjoyed my view when I having my meal there. The food is great. My order was crispy duck, that was really delicious. I could have more of it. But i did't want to be too full, since later on i had to do lot of walking. The potion of each dish was totally enough as a meal. I also ordered their special drink, which looked a bit like ice latte. But taste a bit sweeter. I like it anyway. There were many other dishes I would like to try on the manu. I might try it next time then .The service was also great, really friendly. I think this is a great place for who people who loves Asian kitchen.

This place was an exception...the food here was excellent. I did not have the Pho (I noticed one reviewer was critical of it) so I cannot comment on that, but the two dishes we ordered when I came here were excellent. I had a squid dish, and we also got bun (a rice noodle dish). Both dishes were exquisite...vegetables were very fresh, the stir frying was done just perfectly, leaving the squid very tender. Also, my dish was HOT. I love Germany so much, but I get so sick of seeing stuff labelled "scharf" only to find it barely has any bite whatsoever. This place included real hot peppers--stuff with Asian levels of heat, not German levels--and there was also a traditional hot sauce on the side (Sambal Oelek style), in addition to them offering Sriracha if you want. The traditional hot sauce was hotter than Sriracha and less sweet, and I loved it. I would heartily recommend this place. I have yet to have good Pho in Germany (haven't tried it here so I can't comment) but the Bun and the other squid stir fry dish here were among the best examples of Vietnamese food that I've tried anywhere, and would definitely rank among the best ones even in the US where I have access to great Vietnamese food in most big cities.

This place may not be the most authentic Tex-Mex I've ever eaten, but it was the closest thing to Tex-Mex I've had in Germany in a lo-o-o-ng time (burrito joints like Dolores and Bay Area Burrito notwithstanding). We ordered an appetizer of nachos with frijoles, and were a bit surprised to be served 8 round tortilla chips topped with refried beans and melted cheese. But, to be fair, they tasted pretty darn good! For the main course, I ordered a small chimichanga with chili con carne. Hallelujah! Someone understands that a chimichanga should be FRIED, not just pressed down on the grill on each side. Inside, the filling was pleasantly spicy, and appeared to be homemade, rather than from a can. Will wonders never cease?!?! Oh, but there it was: zucchini chunks. I should've guessed - no Mexican food in Germany is complete without either zucchini or mushrooms. So weird. My husband ordered the small 'wrap' with sauteed mushrooms, because it's apparently impossible to make a vegetarian burrito with only beans, rice and cheese in this country. He was pleased with the flavor, but mentioned that the Mexican rice seemed to be rather sweet. Best of all? Dos Equis Amber beer. But, next time, a wedge of lime would be preferred to a lemon. The ambience was interesting, with murals of the New Mexican desert all around. The servers were decked out in horribly tacky white plasticky cowboy hats, fake leather vests and pink plaid shirts, but we didn't see them too often (as is usually the case in German restaurants). Overall, we were happy with our experience. Maybe we just got lucky, but we'd definitely give this place another try the next time we're in Dresden.

The chips had some good seasoning to them, and the dips (cheddar-cheese, salsa mexicana, curry salsa, sour-cream, and guacamole) were pretty good. I had the chicken quesadilla for my entree (9.80), and it also came with what I think was a small chimichanga. It was good, and it was a lot of food, especially after the chip and dip combo! We also had good strawberry margaritas for 6.20. I only give it 3 stars, because it doesn't measure up to the quality of mexican food I have in the US. The Zwickelbeir they make is great and the staff is usually quite nice and on top of things in the main restaurant. Knowing that having a large restaurant and cooking can take time they give you a basket of bread to tide you over which can be a lifesaver. The food is generally quite good but it isn't always consistent. Once I ordered a salad with chicken breast and it came out absolutely swimming in dressing, even more so than usual for Dresden restaurants, and the chicken breast was actually a thigh and still on the bone. I sent the salad back asking for dressing on the side hoping they would notice that the salad was completely wrong but they just made another salad and put the exact same chicken back on it. While the person with me ordered the same thing and had blood on his chicken he got a whole new salad but still with on the bone chicken. I suppose we could have said something about that but it seemed an obvious mistake for "Salat "Caesar" Romana- und Eisbergsalat mit Parmesan, Kräutercroutons und gebratener Hähnchenbrust" Other times the food is wonderful. I can recommend the Rostbrätl and Lammfilet salat above all and hope that you go on a night where one of the good cooks is there, which is most nights.

Cooks are desperately trying to come up with innovative dishes. A variation of seafood products of which only the tuna sashimi is good. And for good reason, it requires no preparation. The baby calamari are centuries old and rubbery, the scallop gratin is bathed in the water rendered by the cheese, etc. The beef tartare is super-fat and original with mustard ice cream. The lightly filo breaded prawns are quite good. Don't order the cheese plate : it looks like under blister cooked cheese of low class supermarket. Crêpes Suzette are tasty and prepared on an old kitchen stove of a military cart. Professional service, probably the best of this pretentious fable.

After you wait at the desk, they seat you. I made a reservation on OpenTable but it was pretty chill at 7.15pm on a Tuesday evening. When you are seated, they give you a full page of instructions that tell you how it works. You order on a tablet. Before each item is placed, there is a confirmation. On the same tablet, you can review your bill. Because you're ordering each item one at a time, things come when they are ready. My beer came in a regular beer mug on a serving robot. After you grab your order, you tap the screen to indicate that you are done. My food came via the "roller coaster." Unfortunately, there's no warning so it just appears. If it doesn't land exactly in front of you, you have to turn the table so it moves along the track and you can reach it. Something weird happened during my experience there. Two additional drinks and a food I didn't order arrived. When I didn't go for it, the server came over to ask what was going on. I said I didn't order these items and she pulled up my bill and the items were there. I told her I didn't order them (I didn't). She was confused. I asked if this ever happened before. She said it didn't. Fortunately, she took the drinks and food away. When it's time to pay/leave, you indicate that on the tablet and someone comes to the table to do the transaction. My receipt had exactly the items that I ordered. I asked if she figured out what happened. Apparently another table's tablet was programmed to my location. Oh. Other than that, it was an interesting concept and decent food.

Maybe the Facebook video had better coasters, or it was more greased up, but the food did not slide very fast during my visit. Trays would stick on the rails and other trays would catch up and push it along. You also don't know when anything is coming unless you keep looking up at the person that is about to load the rails. As far as the food goes, everything just tasted fine, nothing to write home about. The menus are only in German, so have Google Translate ready, or just go by the pictures. The wait for the food was absolutely ridiculous, though. If you've got kids and don't mind waiting a long time for average food, this wouldn't be a bad choice.
