Their sushi is always fresh they don't use old rice like some other sushi establishments I've been to over the years. As for eating in person the ambience is nice located in downtown Crown. There is a lot of gold and Asian/south east Asian inspired decoration. Their cocktails look good and decorated with flowers but have minimal alcohol. They have Chinese/Japanese/Thai inspired dishes. Their Mongolian beef was ok. I'd say they are best for the drunken noodles, crab fried rice and sushi. Giving three stars because it didn't blow me away, nothing they did wrong. Waited 30+ minutes for our check & were made to cancel plans after. I've been to Asia Nine several times but this was the first time I've been back since the pandemic has started and the food is still amazing! The Crispy Basil with Pork Belly was especially good, definitely recommend! As always the drunken noodles were also a solid dish. They were a little busy so it took a while to get things like the check or menus, but that gave me and plenty of time to just enjoy the ambiance with my friends. Husband and I decided to give Asia Nine a try one day when I was craving Thai. Dine in seating is limited due to social distancing. Tables were spaced out enough to make you feel comfortable. It did feel quite packed though. After about 15 min wait we were seated. Service was mediocre but food came out pretty quickly and the temperature of the food was great. I had the gway tiew or pad see eaw with beef and a bit of extra sauce. It's was solid. My husband had the kapow chicken with rice which he loved so much he went back and got it to go the following week. Beverage wise we tried the lychee coconut cooler which was delicious.
