The premises have been recently renovated to a very high standard and "sitting in" with a newspaper, coffee and cake is always a pleasant experience - never feeling rushed, always warmly welcomed. Overhearing the friendly "banter" between staff and regular customers (I reckon most people visit regularly, which is always a good sign!), you can tell the staff enjoy working there and customers enjoy eating there! For good, wholesome, no nonsense brunching, I think this is the best option in the village.

Kebabs and burgers are the main culprits here with all the usual suspects like Donner kebabs and cheeseburgers dripping in cheese and grease. You can get a pretty good pizza here but you will have to wait longer. Just a chips and gravy for only £2.30, and open till 4am on the weekend - what more could you need or want!

But the chappy who brought them out still had close links with Colonel Sanders and so named his chain after his daughter... Midred (who aparently still helps to advise the company!) hence 'Miss Millies'! So there you have it! every day is a school day as they say, and what a useless fact for you there to take on... you never know it might pop up in a pub quiz one day.
