I have noticed a decline in service and overall quality of food on my most recent visits. They struggle with food temperature issues which is a concern. On my most recent visit I decided to get a combo which comes with an egg roll. My entree of Szechuan chicken was lukewarm at best and the egg roll was just cold. My son's dish was perfect so not sure what that was all about. I would have sent my dish back but unfortunately they only had one server who was already overwhelmed with other tables. I will have to rethink a next visit here since there are other Chinese restaurants in the area that are better in my opinion. read more

No no no! Service for a weeknight wasn't shabby. But if you're not a regular here, you really don't get the red carpet treatment like we've seen other customers. The establishment really needs to work on the lighting. It seems a little dark for us and didn't appreciate it. The food was meh. I really did expect more. We got different things, of all the things, the Pork Ramen was our favorite. It was nice on a cold chilly day here. Our shu mai came out still cold on the inside. Was of course sent back and asked to be taken off the bill. The fried rice so so. Everything else was just okay. We've been here a few times. Every time it's a hit or miss with something. Been ordering this for 18 years and this time there was barely any meat, rice tasted like a day old, and I called to complain. Dinner was good the sushi was amazing. General Tao was good and the Four Happy dish was very good. I wasn't very happy with the fried rice or egg roll but the main dishes were good. We had a great experience at Asian House. I came in on a Friday night with my large family about 6 PM. I was a little taken aback in the parking lot because of the dumpster smell and the many stray animals roaming but inside is a completely different story. Returned on a Friday night with 8 friends and were seated immediately. I saw the waitress walk by heading for another table with a steaming plate that looked very good. I asked her what it was, and she said it was called "4 Happiness". It was $19.20 so I ordered that along with a bowl of Egg Drop Soup ($5.25, not $5 like it says on the menu). When the Egg Drop Soup arrived, it was TEPID. I immediately asked for a REHEAT. I had to bump them down a star for this. Upon return it was hot and SATISFYING! The 4 Happiness came with steamed rice. The portion was HUGE and LOADED with various types of seafood. I ENJOYED this dish very much. I thought I would have taken home leftovers, but that was not the case. VERY GOOD! For my daughter's birthday, she wanted sushi so we came here. They have Chinese food and sushi so it was the best of two worlds! There were so many options, but I knew my family would order a lot of food so I ordered my usual Sashimi Platter. It was good and presented beautifully. We've lived in the area for years and finally today, we gave it a try... ...As far as Chinese food is concerned, it offers all the expected dishes as well as some specialties you don't see in other Chinese food establishments. They have a sushi bar, offering a wide variety of comparable to most other places. For dinner we had several items off their menu - crab rangoons for an appetizer, I had yellowtail sushi, my wife had their egg drop soup, and I went for their Family Four (or something of that title) meal, where my wife enjoyed her standby - the sweet and sour chicken. My meal was full of vegetables, a small lobster half, small scallops, pork, and chicken. Though I enjoyed the sushi and my meal, my wife could not say the same for her's. We weren't impressed with the rangoons, but she did like the egg drop soup and the egg roll that came with her meal. In short, it was a mixed bag of some good and some not, but overall, it was okay. Service was somewhat functional - meaning, she took our orders, was able to answer a few questions, but lacked the attentiveness you come to expect at places today. Maybe it was the language barrier? Maybe a bad day? In any event, it was evident and hopefully a 'one-off' situation. We'll be back, maybe try them on a busier night when they're more on their game. I was in the mood for Chinese as I begin my long birthday weekend on the Space Coast. So I wound up finding this joint just about 4 miles down the road from our hotel. Interesting vibe in the place. Most of the space is taken up by a somewhat outsized sushi bar. Big flatscreen on the wall showing local news. Soft Asian type music also being piped in...Definitely seems like a family run, home style and friendly operation. Not only do they have typical Chinese American stuff; they also have Japanese food. The Queen Bee opted for the latter, having a rainbow roll and a dragon roll. She was more than pleased by the freshness and delicacy of each one. Quite a lovely portion also. She loves sushi rolls and made a happy plate, which is rare for her! She loved the pickled ginger and wasabi accompaniments. Meanwhile, I opted for...uh: Chinese. I didn't bother with poo poo platter or family dinner since you- know-who didn't want Chinese. Grrrr. So I wound up going with a combo plate, which includes soup, egg roll and pork fried rice. I chose wonton soup and then bourbon chicken. Soup was flavorful; wontons were simple but good. I wish they added some scallion, spinach or at least something to the broth! Just two wontons, too. A little stingy if you ask me. Crispy homemade noodles were fantastic foil to broth however. Bourbon chicken was flavorful. Tender, succulent and nice, unctuously crisp skin with the occasional piece of mushroom. Fried rice was quite yummy if a bit dry. I asked them to add a nice handful of bean sprouts to it; they gladly accommodated me. Certainly enough chow for us both to feel full but not stuffed. No beverages nor dessert for either of us. Just a pot of hot tea and a couple glasses of water. We walked out with just a $31 tab, too. We agree that if we ever returned to this area, we would try them again. read more

It's been years since our last visit to the Asian House but it won't be that long again! Recently updated the dining room was clean and tables spaced out nicely, volume of music wasn't so loud that you had to yell to be heard so it didn't feel like you were competing with other tables to talk. The staff very friendly and efficient. We sat ourselves and were quickly brought menus and our drink orders taken, we then ordered an appetizer and our entrees. Everything came out quickly and hot. Prices were on par with other restaurants and portions ample. I had the Singapore Rice Noodles they were very tasty but could have used a bit more spicy, but that's just my palate! Asian House - Titusville - .5 Stars "Swill Alert" As a business, I am constantly inundated with solicitors trying to get me to switch from my current card processor to them. Every pitch is the same: if you are using Square, PayPal, or Apple Pay we can beat their rates. For the first few months, I said "okay, great - send your salesperson over and show me how you can do it." In all three instances the salesperson quit their job because I exposed the half truths of the pitch. How did I do that you say? Well, here is the secret...I read the contract and showed them the flaws. What does this have to do with my review of Asian House? If you look at the photos I posted, you will see one where a bellicose woman in a head scarf was pitching to the owners of this establishment on the benefits of switching credit card processors. This person was so loud she was drowning out the house music that was playing. It went on for literally 12 minutes. The upside? Listening to her ear-piercing banter was more enjoyable than the wretched swill this restaurant is serving. My thoughts for the owners of this restaurant are that they should worry more about the food because they won't need credit card processing if the refuse you are serving here doesn't improve. As you enter this restaurant, you immediately notice a disgusting smell emanating from the garbage dumpster bizarrely situated next to the front door. My first thought was "why would you want every single customer smelling your rotting garbage as they enter?" Totally befuddling to me. My server was a very charming woman named Angela. She was professional, courteous, and very supportive in light of the stomach-churning swill served here. Because my innards were already disaffected due to the dumpster waft, I decided to keep it simple. Spicy tuna hand roll and an order of Snow White prawns. The shrimp were butterflied, which made me wonder why you would butterfly cheap, low-grade, popcorn-size shrimp. The answer? So you can load each one up with 5 ounces of thick pasty batter. I could not cut the shrimp with a knife. No joke - I literally had to bite and gnaw at it to break a piece of shrimp off. Once I did I spit it back out immediately. Absolutely gross. What made it worse was the white sweet gamete-like substance on top of the un-chewable shrimp. For the spicy tuna roll, they served me the same panko-encrusted, chopped up salmon that I was served at Sumo in Indian Harbour Beach. I asked if the sushi binder was Japanese, and they responded, "no, Chinese," so maybe that accounts for this experience. All I can say is Sumo is officially the second worst sushi in Brevard as Asian House is officially the worst based on my experience here today. Unfortunately I'm disappointed because I've ordered the mu shu pork twice now and both times the pancakes were dry and cracked. This time they were so dry that they were inedible and useless. I called to let them know so that maybe they could change their packaging in the future and make sure they don't send already cracked pancakes, but they didn't seem to care. The food here was delicious and all reasonably priced. I had the dancing eel roll with extra eel sauce and an egg and spring roll. The extra eel sauce for 75 cents is worth it. I liked the egg roll as it was cooked just right. When you eat it with duck sauce it's perfect. The spring roll was pretty good too. The eel on the dancing eel roll was thick and fresh. Combined with the rice, asparagus, and cream cheese; it was like a savory explosion in your mouth. Next time I'm in the area I know where to go for sushi. read more
