The waiting area is also very "new-agey" and not at all modern. Fortunately, this was one of those situations where I'm glad I didn't judge the book by its cover! The massage therapy room was clean and pleasant, and Suzanne was an excellent massage therapist. She made the appropriate inquiries about my desired level of pressure and then went to work without making much small talk (which I appreciated!). She spent extra time on my back and shoulders, per my request, and was very thorough and systematic throughout the 60 minute, full body massage. Suzanne also gave me feedback after the massage on areas where she found tightness in my muscles and provided suggestions on how I can work to minimize this tension in between massages.
