Definitely different style. A lot more skill and attention than other places. Was $60 for the hour, but I will say this massage was very professional and very accurate to what I needed. I found this place through yelp as a recommendation. I've driven by this place thousands of times; I never went in. Today I'm glad I did. A lot of places now are asking for pay upfront ; this place does not. I appreciate that. Other places ask me to tip upfront; what if the massage sucked? This one was great. The visit to this spa was overall very good. I saw Wendy. She was polite, communicative, and friendly. I did a 30 minute body message and Wendy's style of massage I suspected was that of someone who had been seasoned and I was correct. She has been there for several years. I think overall, what I appreciated the most was that she was able to communicate well with me and I could communicate well with her. I think I will return in the near future. I really wanted to keep my five star review , but after having bad rashes Had to go back and update my review. I will still give 5 and more stars for the massage. I think the oil they used cause me a very bad rash , and also the patch she gave me to put on my shoulder after the massage helped in the rash too. I woke up at 2:30 in the morning on a very bad rashes covering my back and on any area that the oil she used was applied, I took shower , and try to go back to bed with no luck. Now it's 91:5 am and the rash I s bad, so be carful not use the patch before you try it on a small area. Update: My third day of rash , had to go to the emergency room at 2:30Am, it was sever rash , they gave me injection and said it's allergy from the oil they used!! After a good massage I had to suffer for a week!!! read more

I got a glendora magazine and recommended this place to my friend. Today he got the promotional Massage for $25. When he paid a $5 tip, the employee complaint that it wasn't enough. ask for wendy!!! shes extremely nice and caring!!!! she unknotted most of my knots . i have very tight muscles all over my neck, shoulders and down my lower back. she was able to feel these tension and tell me what is bothering me. shes really good at what she does. she also was kind to recommend me teas that can help my skin and stressful life. she is a kind woman, she has a big heart and i wish my manderin was good. i as born here so i try to communicate with her as much possible. my full body massage was $40 for one hour. i would come back again. after this massage i slept well the following night. i have terrible insomnia and usually on sleeping medication. i have severe body aches and she helped me feel better immediately. her massages are relaxing. i minus one star because shes talked alot it to me, i know she cares but i wasnt able to relax . i know she means well, i was getting sleepy but when she spoke with me, i would wake up startled. -_- sorry i hate to write this bad part about my experience. overall great massage and tipped her well. shes loving and caring with strong hands . cash only!! read more

So we are having dinner at Sergio's and noticed this business across the street so Hubby decided to get a massage the following day (NOTE: we have a weekly massage on Sundays) We hit most of the "foot massages" around the area and know our stuff). We live in Azusa and drive all the way to Garden Grove to get our massages so we know good massages from the bad ones. Hubby loved the massage and made an appt for me to come here on Sunday at 5:30... I was massaged by Wendy. $60.00 was the price for one hour. She massaged me for one hour and a half. I am usually pretty forgiving with giving feedback but I feel that I have to be just brutally honest about this one as an opportunity for them to make changes and make it better. First of all, the massage was not good. No deep pressure and no massage oils used. Ten minutes into to the massage, the person massaging me answered the phone and had a conversation with the caller while massaging me with one hand. When her associate arrived, they had a conversation in the room while I was just laying there (partially covered). Then the masseur left for about 2 minutes and the other person came in and started massaging my head. Her massage was shaky and she did not seem confident. If you like very hot stones rubbed up and down your feet and your body protrusions, same song repeated throughout the hour, pinching and rubbing of skin with no lotion, no covering of eyes or body with anything, you'll love this place. Highly recommend coming here if you have lower back pain. Not gonna lie the massage will not be light. But, you'll be able to bend down and touch your toes again. I used to go to another local massage place and they did a good job. However, my lower back pain would persist. I've had many massages in my life and this has to be one of the best I've had in a long time. Wendy's technique is excellent. She walked on my back, stretched me out in ways I have never could do on my own, and pressure is strong at the right points. She is very strong and was able to work out the knots; heck I even felt my posture got better! It's a little more than what I usually pay, but it is well worth it.
