This is a true story that I tell often. 15 years ago, a friend and I were at the Supermall, we decided to get teriyaki before we left. He ordered teriyaki chicken, I ordered sesame chicken. Two identical plates were served, I told the server I ordered sesame chicken, she reached below the counter, grabbed a shaker full of sesame seeds, shook it twice on my plate and pushed it back. That's what this was. I specifically told the guy I wanted something spicy and not sweet, after he mentioned about 6 dishes, I chose Stir Fry Almond Chicken. When the dish came, it was 100% horrible. It was teriyaki chicken, with assorted veggies and almonds. The almonds did not go with teriyaki sauce, the sauce was sweet despite being clear, I don't like sweet Asian sauces. Nothing about this meal was good and when asked if it was okay and I provided feedback, the guys eyes got big and he said, I hope I can make something better for you next time. Good news, I won't be back. Not only did you serve an inedible meal, when presented with the facts, you did nothing to correct it, and since you were chatting up regulars about vacation plans, I'm just going to assume that Lex Luthor sitting on chrome was your a car and that is one hell of a whip for someone slinging take out teriyaki. I'm glad your high prices afford you a lifestyle where service doesn't matter, but it won't last Chico! The irony is you are serving the same fried chicken in at least 5 dishes, why not just whip up an almond sauce, and pour it over that, or serve you stir friend almost chicken the way over other restaurant do. Dice white meat with a thickened chicken stock sauce stir in onions, bamboo and water chestnuts and you got a hit! I will and can concur portions were generous, but if the food isn't tasty, who gives a flunk if you could stretch it out into two meals? I left hungry and unhappy because I had to throw out more than half of my meal and the portion I did eat, I had to force down because it tasted nasty and South King County Han was so fast and furious that it was impossible to get any level of service. Came here for a yelp event and sampled several different menu items. I really Luke the classic chicken teriyaki, the fried rice and chow mein. The staff/owner were so welcoming and the restaurant inside is clean and inviting. This is near the ice skating rink in Kent so ill be stopping by here afterwards! read more

Really good Japanese food in the valley and a good addition to the area. Maybe rent was too expensive at Kent Station but this place could pass in that kind of shopping center. I'd probably come here over Trapper's for sushi. It may not be as fancy as Trapper's but if you're looking for quality then Asian Table has it. I stopped by mid week for lunch. They had a steady flow of customers walking in. It was pretty spacious inside. They had a lot of tables for dining in. The employee at the register was really friendly. I ordered the Bento to-go and it was a good turnaround time. The portion size was surprisingly large and the food was presented nicely. I had half the bento for lunch and the rest for dinner. Seems like they hired good experienced cooks. They have limited parking in the front but there's more parking in the back since they share the lot with other businesses. Just don't park in the area where you might be blocked by the Starbucks drive thru line. This place is good for folks who work in the industrial area and downtown Kent. A lot of commercial buildings are being built which means more jobs are being created and those employees need to eat. Folks who live in the area would probably like this restaurant too. I haven't tried their Chinese food yet. I usually get my fix from Golden Dynasty down the street on W Valley Hwy but I'm open to trying it next time. read more

I had their teriyaki bowls with a friend here. The place is fairly new so it wasn't very crowded but during the time we were dining I saw a lot of people coming in to order takeout. The dining area is very spacious and can accommodate large groups. I would be willing to come back here when I'm in the area. Next time I order, I would probably ask for teriyaki sauce on the side. I was running a bit late so they called me because they were closing, super patient nonetheless and met me at the door to hand me my food. Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection! I'm not much of a sauce girl, so I loved that my sesame chicken was more crunchy than saucy and still soooooo flavorful. I think I could have did without the California Roll as it was pretty much what you expect of one. But the sesame chicken though!!!!!! Went to this place for lunch. The restaurant is cute, spacious and clean! We had the crab rangoon, katsu, hot and spicy chicken teriyaki, 3 rolls (dragon roll, katsu roll and one other that I can't remember). The katsu was so crispy, would 10/10 recommend. I work next door at an elementary school and kept hearing my coworkers raving about how good it is so I finally got an order to take home and it was SO GOOD! Big portions, amazing flavor. They even have indoor seating which not everyone does anymore and it's very quaint and clean. The lady at the counter was very friendly and order was ready in 15 minutes as promised. Though it's clean and larger than expected, with many tables, it's clearly geared toward takeout as even dine-in entrees are served in takeout containers. I had the teriyaki chicken and gyoza, which was pleasant and priced at about $10.00 (a little extra for fried rice). It's order at the counter and get your own drink, so at least you'll save a bit on tips. My favorite place to eat in Kent when I want some comfort food at a reasonable price. I can eat a lot, but these $16 combo meals can easily feed two people, especially if you get an extra side of rice. The service is excellent. Everyone is very kind and conversational. Delicious! Had the spicy shrimp roll and shared a lunch special. Special had sweet and sour chicken and teriyaki. I wish the sweet and sour had more flavor but overall very satisfied. This is not your average teriyaki restaurant!! It so much more! All of the dishes I've tried so far were all 10/10. I'd recommend the spicy chicken teriyaki -- truly the best I've had. You can tell that it's quality chicken, cooked and flavored to perfection. Rice flavor and consistency is also super important to me and the rice here is JUST right. Not too sticky and not at all dry, perfectly pairs with your chicken... or beef short ribs, which were also amazing! Try the beef short ribs here because they are SO juicy and meaty, and the flavor is spectacular. Reminded me of an authentic home-cooked Korean meal. And if you're in the mood for sushi rolls, they've got a great selection! I loved the fresh jalapeño slices on the I Love Hot Roll. I saw a few others get rolls, and they all looked amazing. The portions are big here (always a plus) and prices were great. Inside the restaurant itself, you have a spacious, clean environment, definitely large enough to accommodate big groups. Absolute hidden gem! Stopped in on a quick break for work. Serving size is absolutely immaculate. The photo taken is after I demolished enough to be damn near full, now don't get it twisted because typically you would expect the food quality and taste to take a hit when they serve portions so amazingly large have no fear whatsoever in your heart. An amazing and delicious new Teriyaki restaurant that also serves Chinese and Sushi! The space is very open and felt very modern and clean. The food was absolutely amazing. Portion sizes are big too! We ordered the beef short ribs (my favorite), spicy chicken, 911 roll, and I Love Hot roll (we love to eat). I was so hungry, I didn't take any pics of our food, but detailed review below. Beef short rib: very flavorful, juicy, and lots of meat on the bones! Definitely better quality than some Korean restaurants; I was pleasantly surprised. Spicy chicken: the best I've had. They add cabbage to it that gives it a little crunch and helps balance the flavors, but this spicy chicken is perfectly sauced and not swimming. 911 and I Love Hot Roll: two solid options. Good amount of rice-to-fish ratio and I liked the jalapeño as it gave it a slight kick. The service was very friendly (shout to Steve!) and the workers are kind. Good location. Parking is mostly in the back but you find parking in the front. The restaurant is a nice size for small and large parties as much as 10 can sit at a table. There are no servers, you walk up and order your meals then take your seat. There's quite a variety of East Asian cuisines from Chinese to Japanese foods. The worst customer service you can find. Drove from Vancouver and was looking for a nice spot to grab a quick meal and get back on the road. However, I needed to use the restroom but was refused entry until I ordered food. I told the employee that I really needed to go prior to ordering so I could choose what I wanted. Kent WA. Kind of average. You know I appreciate opportunity, but when you have 4.5 star rating you expect something more. I saw the entire kitchen staff was Hispanic. The only Asian person was the guy taking the order. The food reflects it. This is some mall type food assembled for your eating pleasure. No pleasure. Food was bland and had strange curry influence in the house lo mein. The general Tao was average at best and more breading than chicken.
