This place... gosh. First and foremost, they care more about making money than the actual patients. They will do everything they can to try and get money out of you. They try so hard that the doctor will tell you to smile and he will literally rate your smile on a scale of 1-10 and be like "ehh, it's like a 5. I'll make sure you see our billing/insurance/accountant person to see what we do for you regarding invasalign." Never agreed to it. Never even said I wanted it. Never expressed concerns over my "smile." (Not to mention, I had braces before) Doctor goes on to continue to "rate" my teeth's whiteness and trying his hardest to convince me to do their teeth whitening treatment. Again, without even asking if I wanted it done. Says the billing lady will walk me through that too. I get my cleaning done, it was okay. They put me in a dark, weird room for me to "wait" for the billing lady just for me to tell her no and after telling her no countless times, she still proceeds to show me different payment plans for treatments I already said I don't want. I get it, it's a chain dental company. But like DANG, no is no. They are absolutely pushy. It was a one and done for me. read more

First it took a month and a half to get my top denture made, they advertise same day dentures. Then when I get the denture it has weird seams, ridges and sharp edges. The plate also goes so far back in the roof of my mouth that I gag and swallowing food is difficult. They fall out when I try to speak, after a week of getting them, and I can't afford a reline. Exactly 1 month after getting my denture I'm eating a potato chip, Pringle, and one of the front teeth pops out. The dentist that I had was condescending and rude. He refused to listen to me. I've been to Aspen dental up in New England and they were fantastic but this one I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. read more

Went in a month ago. I have a broken tooth and need it pulled . They wanted to wait to address it because I had. A knee replacement 6 months ago.. I had a conversation with a polite young woman who said I would need an antibiotic so she scheduled me for a Friday appt at 130 in the afternoon. I am 45 minutes away and I get there at. 1:15 the sign says they are closed on Fridays at 1PM . Another car pulls and asks me if Aspen. Is open, they have 2 pm appointment. I have never been one to write a review about any places but this one really did it for me. My mom had a dentist appointment here and while she was there the staff thought it was appropriate to make fun of her for not having any teeth (she has dentures). My dad was sitting in the waiting room while these things were being said and asked who was in charge. Turns out the lady making these comments was the one in charge. It is absolutely ridiculous that staff would sit there and make fun of their patients especially in front of other people in the waiting room. She proceeded to try to deny everything when my mom told her to not worry about it and just finish up with her. The staff needs to be more professional. It is unacceptable that this happened. No need to be rude and make fun of someone when you don't know why they are in that situation in the first place. read more

I made am appointment and went to it on time.I was told I did not have one .I had borrowed my daughters car and put gas in it and she acted like I was lying.She offered to make me another appointment for 2 weeks away even though I was in pain.She found out I did have an appointment but the computer shut down and the lady who made it for me thought it was saved.I had to borrow my daughters car again and put gas in. Then I told her I could not borrow her ca but only on Wednesdays because of her job she had to have it. We'll she made my next appointment for Tuesday and not Wednesday I had not looked at the appointment card and got a call to confirm the Tuesday appointment. I told the caller I had no way and asked why did I not have one for Webnesday so she offered to do it for two weeks away.I had a filling that fell out two months prior and could not be seen to get it fixed for a total of three months. This is because of not working with me in a timely manner and acting like I am lying.I tried to overlook it to start with but much of this is done on purpose and I am suspicious of someone being predijust.My gaping hole on the front is so imbarising.I will look for another source to fix my problem.My sister had told me not to use them because she was not happy with them. read more

This is one of the worst dentist offices in Albany, GA. I went there last year and they only cleaned my teeth after I went concerning a sore tooth. They referred me to a dentist who said that I did not need a root canal, but prescribed me expensive toothpaste to use. This year (2023), I went back to Aspen dental, thinking I will give them another chance. I paid to have fillings done (over three hundred dollars). They have only cleaned my teeth AGAIN!!! They have not done any of the work. Now, they are saying computers are down... going on two months. How can a business operate with computers down for over two months??? I DEMAND A FULL REFUND!!! If I could give this place a 0 stars If I could. They are a MESS. First they will tell you your insurance covers you to get you in the door. Long wait times. They were more interested in trying to nickel and dime you to death with various services and products then the actual exam. So I have two insurance types and both cover the exam. Next thing I know I get a bill for part of the $71 dollar exam. So that being said go anywhere else!!!! read more

I was out of town working and needed a tooth pulled. With COVID 19 going on it was hard to find a place that would take me. This Aspen location was able to fit me in. I will tell you up front I hate going to a dentist with a passion, but the people here were top notch. They took xrays and pulled the tooth the same day. This was the least painful extraction I have ever had. I have not had the best of luck with Aspen in the past at other locations, but this one is the exception. I definitely recommend this location, only wished I lived closer and could make them my primary dentist. read more

Do not get dentures from this place! My dad paid over 2,000.00 for their so called "best plan" and they never fit. He was constantly going back to have them adjusted and they still never fit. He had to use tons of dental grip to get them to stay in his mouth. After 2 years of this foolishness we finally gave up. He went to Affordable Dentures and paid 500.00 for a set that fit perfectly. Do not go to Aspen Dental. They make their money off of high-priced, unnecessary procedures. I spent three hours for a new patient appointment, and all they did is tell me what I already knew about my dental health and try to buffalo me into thousands of dollars in work that I did not want or need. Furthurmore, I couldn't even make an appointment for what I did want without putting down 60% up front. Severalolder ladies in the waiting room were talking about how they were getting crowns and bridges replaced even though they seemed to be just fine. They are clearly taking advantage of these women. The high rating is due to getting an appointment the next day and the excellent customer services I received from everyone I met. That's from the front of the house with Shambreka, who was very nice. I spent most of my time with Donna, who took my x-rays and checked on me to let me know when the hygienist would be in. Donna was very personable, sweet and kind. Brittany, the hygienist, gentle spirit was calming. The calmness continued with Dr. Jindu who chuckle at one of my comments. Carrie wrapped my visit up with a smile. What stood out the most was their willingness to help a walk-in whose son needed immediately attention to removed something stuck between his teeth. So far so good. SS. read more

I was concerned about going to a "chain" dentistry, I am really glad they were able to get me in when I requested because I found a new dentist. The staff is great, the dentist is very kind. pre covid, i was in so much pain and in tears by the time i found aspen dental online. i was able to come in on a saturday. dr. barron i believe was the dentist. he and the two young ladies that took care of me were awesome!!! i busted out into tears when the financial person went over the bill. i could not afford some of my work. they helped me figure out financing! the office staff were so nice. dr. b helped to be at ease even though i was in so much pain. im not afraid of dentist even though i do not like needles. he assured me that he would numb me and he did. unless things have changed i would recommend albany aspen. beginning procedures are little to nothing. you can apply for finanical assistance if you need lots of work. i need more work and will be back. you pay what for what you get. i want it done right. thanks dr b and aspen read more

I went to the Aspen Dental here in Albany, Ga. When I called as a new patient they seemed very nice on the phone. When I got there the waiting was a bit long. The lady that checked my gums hurt me a bit tbh, and I said ouch but she act like she didn't care because she didn't say anything and kept going. And the dentist that checked my teeth he had a bit of an attitude. They payments are also a bit much. But the receptionist was nice and the lady i talked to about finances was nice. After I get my gum surgery that they "claim" I need and my fillings for my cavities, I will NOT be going there anymore. read more

My son and I had our first appointments yesterday. From the time we walked in the door, the customer service was impeccable! The office is modern with great lighting and a relaxing decorum. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and very up to date on technology and information. The doctor exuded confidence and put us at ease. The dental hygienist was very personable and motivated my 13 year old to floss and brush more regularly. I was shocked when I saw him brushing that evening without my nudging! My daughter was asked to reschedule her appointmnet because she refused to get a fluoride treatment, which is optional. Then she was informed that her insurance is invalid.I don't recommend this unprofessional and rude office to my worse enemy read more

The Receptionist scheduled my appointment immediately, paying close attention to my scheduling needs. Once I arrived to my appointment, the wait wasn't long. The nurse was very respectful and explained things in detail. The dentist made recommendations outside of what I was seeking. That was disappointing. Update to the previous post: The dental office provided an estimate of what services would cost and charged a fee of nearly $400.00 that was paid prior to a portion of the service being completed, despite having two different insurance providers. This was not all of the out of pocket cost they were requedting, but what I was required to pay at this time when I maintained my reason for the visit. The office manager was contacted on multiple occasions requesting they submit this estimated cost to the insurance company; however they continued to refuse, despite my request as the patient and a customer. When I requested a refund, I was told the money paid toward future services would be used to cover an X-ray and they would cancel my claim with one of the insurance companies. A simple way to resolve this matter was to submit a predetermination to my insurance companies so I can insure I'm not charged for services not approved. I never expected the behavior and treatment I received today from the office manager. read more
