    The dentist and hygienist I saw were both knowledgeable and professional. Dr. S listened to my concerns and explained the treatment plan well. The only downside, at no fault of the dentist, was the person who schedules the patients appointments is off location and not well versed in how long each procedure takes. This caused a long wait time because there were so many new patient appointments one after the next and it takes time to see everyone. This overbooks the dentist and causes long wait times. When talking to the coordinator, Alexis, about my follow up appointment she also was professional and helped me prioritize what I needed and wanted completed. Clean facility lobby, exam and waiting rooms. Good experience overall.

At the time of treatment, I was led to believe that my services would be covered by insurance. I relied on those representations when agreeing to move forward. After allowing me to come in,. get serviced, and let me leave without ever telling me insurance hadn't conirmed coverage OR at least telling me before hand that there was no insurance coverage after submitting the service to insurance to confirm or deny coverage, I was billed for an amount that I do not believe is accurate or properly verified. There are also serious concerns about whether insurance was properly verified or pre-authorized before services were performed, and I firmly believe that was done to quickly get me in the chair to receive services under the pretense that my deep cleaning was covered. That is unfair and a complete misrepresentation of information, to essentially trick me into thinking I had no financial obligation, JUST to turn around and claim that I owe them. Additionally, the document the office relies on for financial responsibility does not appear to have my signature, which is also very questionable and concerning because I never agreed to be finanically responsible for anything hence why my signature is not on the paperwork that they are trying to use against me. Why? It is because I never saw it and it wasn't presented to me to sign. They have literal documentation that shows the deep cleaning was covered by insurance, literally checked off the boxes "yes. covered by insurance" by Terry Hopper. If the service wasn't confirmed to be covered by insurance, or even if they were waiting for approval, why rush and get me in the chair KNOWING there is a possibility that the service may end up not being covered by insurace? That is wrong, and should be handled in a way more secured way to ensure patients aren't being rushed into getting serviced then later billed once insurance verification is denied. It is a very money hungry dental practice and I have a friend who also had the same exact experience. I strongly advise others to find a dental office with integrity, morale, and basic human decency. Find a dental office who doesn't pressure you into getting services, just to later turn around and try to bill you. Furthermore, don't allow them to scare you into thinking you owe them for an amount that was notably sent off to collections, and they STILL try to collect from your pockets. The world we live in is chaotic and hard enough. The last thing anyone wants to deal with is a "Doctor" who cares more about getting money, than the actual well-being and livelihood of their patients.

Then proceeded to harass me over and over by calling me after me telling me I was never going to pay them for to do that service on me. I have my own damn dentist. This was just supposed to be something quick before a trip. It's been over 6 months since I spoke to the dental excellence people. Why do I receive a text on a SUNDAY about an upcoming appointment on this coming Tuesday that I did not set???? Nobody ever called me. Nobody asked if I was busy. I actually work that day so I know I wouldn't have booked that appointment. I check my emails for appointment verifications and the only email I can find it about an appointment was emailed to me on May 8th. The text message states that if I don't cancel (cancel an appointment I never set) within 4 days, I will be subject to paying a $60 broken appointment fee. I just saw this 2 days before they went behind my back and set this appointment. So it's now the weekend and obviously the office is closed leaving no way to contact them to tell them to remove me out their database. I could bet MONEY they went behind my back and tried to book an appointment in hopes I wouldn't notice so they can charge my card on file. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM. The Better Business Bureau though, they will be resourceful if things aren't resolved by the time the staff goes on their lunch tomorrow.

In fact, it's a very much family like atmosphere in a super doper modern office. I've been to other modern dental offices. OK comparing with the office of MY dentist. Always helpful, never judgemental with great respect to patient's choices and needs. I moved to another country for a couple of years, came back and bought a new house very very far from Austell. My attempts of trying to find a dental office in Decatur and surrounding areas resulted in total frustration, mistreatment and huge overcharge. Not only for services provided but the ones not provided. Let the Dental Board of Georgia deal with it. i called Dr. Carroll's office. Only one person is there since good old times, others (not many, just an administrator and the hygienist, retired). I was greeted and treated by new stuff as if they knew me all these years. I immediately felt at home. And the issue which at Aspen dental and three more dental offices nobody wanted to deal was, MY dentist, Dr. Carroll, fixed in no time. The issue was at the beginning a loose tooth on a denture based on implants, then the tooth fell out. Oh, yeah, I was accepted by those so called dental offices and their "professionals" could not even identify what was wrong with the tooth (until it fell out:), but charged me big time (insurance has its limits, you know). Just now wrote a $266 to the Aspen Dental... for nothing. Anyway, my tooth is back in! Which is wow. My insurance, tadadadam was charged just $120. I talked with Dr. Carroll about a new denture, mentioned that I can have one done in a different country for a very reasonable price. Let me share the reaction of Dr. Carroll, he said "Go for it". It was me who started complaining about "what ifs" ( the denture with lost tooth was completed in that country). You know what Dr. Carroll said?! Not to worry, just ask the foreign dentist to provide all the information on materials they were to use. Can you believe THAT?! I heard from many American dentist very nasty comments about the dentists from other countries. Not here. High professionalism, total support of the patient. The best, really the very best esthetic dentist ever! Dr. Carroll, I love you, I appreciate you, I have the greatest respect to you. And the way you train your administration team! Please be healthy, please be happy, please, please, please do not ever retire!

He is an excellent dental health care professional and I look forward to ONLY seeing him annually as I will work more diligently on my oral hygiene habits. Since I recently got braces I've been visiting Vibrant Smiles monthly and I get an opportunity to observe on a monthly basis and I am even more impressed with Operations. Brandy is very patient with me when I have to reschedule and accommodating as much as possible when I am late. I am particularly impressed with how well the veteran staff works with the new staff and dental assistant interns. While there may be some technical challenges, because they are learning on the job, they are very patient with each other. This prompts me to be patient and understanding because everybody deserves the chance to learn. UPDATE: I appreciate the "new" front office staffers, Kelsie and Giselle they are such a great fit. I came in with a challenge with my bite and requested to see Tiera and they were so accommodating. Tiera carefully and gently met my needs. She managed my anxiety and reassured me through her professionalism and skill. Thank you Dr. Rainford for hiring such an excellent group of individuals. You all take great care of me and my family.

It's in a somewhat rough part of town, but the office is nicer inside than it looks outside! I've seen both Dr. Dix and Dr. McGee. I appreciate that they don't try to convince you to get unnecessary treatments done, and are willing to say when work can wait (and when it needs to be done ASAP). I took down a star, though, because the front desk manager is just...well...exhausting. Once, she started expounding on politics (hers are quite different than mine). Another time, I didn't receive a confirmation call; I called the next morning to verify my appointment was still on, and when I discovered it was, warned them I might be ten minutes late-- but said I was happy to reschedule. They told me to come on in. On the way, they called to ask where I was. I reminded them that I was running late, but again, said I was happy to reschedule. When I arrived, the office manager (Monica) hassled me in front of all the other customers/staff for being late. I AGAIN offered to reschedule, and let her know I'd basically been saying as much all morning. She literally said, "No, you're here now, I guess go ahead. We'll all rearrange things around you." Honestly, it irked me enough that I've started looking for another dentist closer to me, especially now that my insurance has improved. I still really like the doctors, though, so I suppose if you can avoid Monica, give this place a shot!
