I asked how long the complete eye exam would take and she said it could take up to an hour. I have an 11:00 am appointment so I said that I am upset and I could not do my exam now. if this was the first time this had happened I would not have been so upset but it appears to be the norm. it certainly appears that scheduling appointments tightly and realizing maximum profits is the priority over patient care and respect. Vista was clean, the reception was nice and helpful with scheduling, due to the travel involved. Not only did the doc take time, he explained exactly what he was seeing and didn't just do the..'which is better, one or two.' He took extra measures and found a possible diagnosis for the issues I have been having for years. This one catch has sent me on a path to gaining mobility and healing. I haven't gotten my glasses yet, but was glad I could get them there so they would fit what I need. If you want to get your glasses ordered the same day, make sure you ask specifically when the eyewear place closes for the day. It is different than the vision exams. Thank you!

We wanted to be checked for things like glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts etc. I told her what our Medicare Advantage Insurance was and she assured me they accepted it. on that basis I scheduled us (my wife and I) for appointments this morning. We traveled 45 miles each way this morning to early morning appointments only to be told they DO NOT take our insurance. Do not trust them. Whether it was a deliberate act or the product of or incompetence, I wouldn't trust anything they tell you.

I wanted to relate my experience from over 2 years ago with the practice, and offer my sincere thank you to the medical professionals that I encountered. In January of 2024, I spent the week skiing with friends. Even at the age of 72, I'm normally acclimated to the altitude within a day or two. However, that year, I found myself out of breath after just a few pitches. I thought I had some type of chest congestion, and made an appointment at Aspen Medical Care. I don't recall the name of the physician who treated me, but almost immediately, after listening to my heart, she decided to hook me up for a quick EKG. She determined that I had A-fib, immediately put me on a blood thinner, and suggested to see a cardiologist as soon as I returned home. Bottom line, after a cardioversion that didn't work, and an ablation that did, I have been A-fib free since then. I attribute my health to that wonderful doctor who treated me that day.
