My husband and I have rented through Century 21 for the past two years. It is interesting to me…read morethat the other reviews are so negative because our experience has been top notch. Although there are many rules and regulations, they are there for a reason. Having semi annual inspections is excellent. It shows they truly care about their properties and want to make sure that everything is up to par. Whenever anything has broken at our condo, it has been fixed OR replaced promptly. We are moving to Lancaster in the next few months and are truly sad that we will no longer be renting with them!! I HIGHLY recommend century 21 to anyone who is looking for professional and reliable property management/rental services. :)

Absolutely unprofessional never showed us any of the properties had the audacity to keep our money…read moreand did not try to help find any other units within their 30-day period of time that they claimed they were going to help us find a place to live. They did absolutely the opposite and completely denied us immediately due to simple technicalities that could have been resolved over a phone call. Don't know how this place is still up and running with the way they operate their business. The application asked for pretty much the same information that the background check did so why would they run the background check and steal the money from me and my partner if they already knew we weren't going to qualify? That's profiteering and that is not legal. Eventually the state will hopefully catch on to their scam. But unfortunately it's happening more than just at this location many real estate agencies are exploiting people by charging application fees and background check fees without ever having intention on even showing them the property let alone move in. If you're for an apartment and you see this name on the listing just go right past it and don't waste your time and especially you're very hard earned money that I'm sure the rest of you that are applying are actually earning that money with their hands and not just getting it handed to them for the privilege of having the opportunity to live in an apartment complex.

In our final walk through, none of the repairs had been made. Mark signed an addendum at the closing saying he would cover the cost of the repairs. What a disaster. Went to scheduled "Open House" at a condo complex in York. Arrived shortly after…read more1P, unable to access the locked, secured building. Very shortly I was joined by 2 additional people there for the same showing. Soon our numbers grew and we were now 8 people standing outside a building that was to have been an open house. One of the ladies called Mark Carr's number and went directly to his voice mail. Fortunately, the president of the condo association happen to be coming home and saw the crowd. She stopped and confirmed that she had authorized an open house and thought there would be someone in the lobby to meet and greet. She began to give us the particulars about the association and the property. More people are arriving. Mark Carr then responded to the call by texting and advising that the "Open House" had been canceled and someone had dropped the ball. It appeared the only person that knew it had been canceled was Mark Carr. Although the cost of the property in question was slight obviously in his eyes, each one of the people standing there had properties that would also need to be sold and many were downsizing including myself. Pretty certain there was not a person there that would consider using Mark Carr for purchase or sale of a property. Please keep in mind that all of this transpired in the first half hour of the proposed "Open House". Still over an hour of people to come and go. Not buying from Mark Carr.
