    This is with the GIG plan - one device on WIFI, hardwired PC is powered off...not Alexa, smart thermostats.....nothing.

    I scored a one because it will not let me give the -5 they deserve. Multiple calls for every issue and misleading information on the pricing. They are not delivering anything close to the GIG plan I am paying (now overpaying) for. One device on in the entire home...highest speed test 106.7. Did I mention this is the GIG plan?? Calling for tech support ALWAYS ends up with days without service and promises for credit for the downtime. It never happens...but they always promise to take care of it.)_ Positive note: The customer service (except for today's chat guy - "Carlos," who was zero help and seemed like he could not care one way or another) and tech guys are amazing and seem to want to deliver, which makes it hard to stay frustrated. I cannot wait to get out of this area, so other viable internet options are available.

    There are not many options for internet in San Mo unfortunately so we got stuck with this one. Get used to your internet going out randomly for days on end. The customer service reps I've spoken to online and over the phone were either rude, or just really had no idea how to do their job, or a combination of both.

    If a rating of zero would be possible, Grande would receive it. They pride themselves by stating they are Texas based but maybe should add they provide the worst service to their Texas customers. We pay $165 a month for basic cable and Internet with 1 TiVo box. Our unreliable internet issues/outages happen about 10 days a month. A "Temporary Service Connection Issue" message is more common to see daily than the actual menu guide. We have had to make arrangements, reschedule our appointments and miss countless hours of work to meet the cable tech. Horrible, horrible, horrible! Maybe we should start sending them an invoice for missed work and add the horrendous amount of hidden extra fees ($50 monthly) that we get charged. If you are new to the Hays County area, look elsewhere for your cable/internet service. It will save you a lot of headaches. Update - 24 hours later The tech shows up and replaced the exact same cables that were just replaced on Thursday. He also zipped tied a 30ft jumper to my curtain rods (see picture) and stated the cable needs to be at the highest point of the ceiling. WTF? What does that mean? I requested to have my modem and TiVo replaced and after nearly two hours at my residence, he told me he did not have the hardware with him. The tech also left without saying anything. Really?! The issue still has not been resolved. I am still without service and the tech leaves without updating us?! I am done with this "Texas based" company. Maybe they should move their operations elsewhere...

    I went to T-Mobile to change my phone plan to prepaid plan. The person that helped me took a while…read morethen said my phone was me to contact T-Mobile about canceling my previous plan. I don't know why this is apparently done separately of getting a new phone plan when I arrived home, I attempted to call T-Mobile. My phone did not work. I went back to the store and waited in line again. The manager noticed me the store and said nothing to me after I was original person made some phone calls and said my phone would not work for 2 to 24 hours. I wanted him to change it back to the old plan so I could have my phone working. I was not prepared to have my phone not working for a day if they would've just told me that in the beginning wouldn't have had a problem. The store is poorly managed, and the personnel are always asking for help from the manager and other workers, horrible service, poor knowledge of service.

At your store, you told me it didn't matter that I'm fully vaccinated because that policy doesn't go into effect until tomorrow. So you managed to further annoy a 16-year customer and lose a $1,000 phone sale over a less than 24 hour change in policy. You are right across from my office but I will never come in your store again.

    TLDR: Nate and his crew went above and beyond, diagnosed and fixed the problem. Highly recommend…read more 5+ Stars. Part 1: Internet -We contracted Nate and his crew to install the AT&T Fiber in the conduit going to our network panel. Summary: Fiber was pulled in to the panel successfully by Nate! They saved the day! -The issue began when we tried to install AT&T Fiber but the AT&T tech (who worked really hard) told us that he could not find our black flex conduit in the attic spaces. We asked Nate (owner of Alpha Net Communications) to find the conduit in the attic; he was able to find it eventually after looking through our various attics and there it was coiled in the ceiling after a drop down going through the garage attic. He was then able to pull the AT&T Fiber into our network panel so that AT&T could connect their fiberoptic cable into the AT&T modem/router. Part 2: Ethernet (Hardwire) Cable Management -Nate and his crew tested all the ethernet cables with a Fluke cable tester and toner tester. After testing the downstair rooms, they found and repaired broken ethernet jacks at the wall plates downstairs, identified hidden ethernet cable behind a wall plate in the upstairs area, and confirmed all cables were gigabit ready for AT&T Fiber internet. -They installed our new gigabit ethernet PoE switch, plugged in all the ethernet cables (and labeled them) into the ethernet ports of the switch, and labeled all the wall plates. -They cleaned up the network panel itself and also custom cut the closet hanger rod network panel stretched across the panel so that the panel door could fully open. AV System -Nate and his crew also tested the audio cables and the speakers that were upstairs, downstairs, and outside. They found the volume control for the outside speakers. -They also prepared the ethernet cable (going to TV, going to wall) so that it-alongside the HDMI cable-was ready for the smart TV.
