I watched her do the same to 2 other customers that came in after me. after waiting 20 mins another employee comes asks me what I'm there for and then says I can only order another direct tv box online and that the iPhone 16 1k hard drive will not be distributed in store.......... Buyer beware! I wouldn't recommend anyone do any business at this location. The representative Chad and the MANAGER was completely deceptive when handling my account. I had a grandfathered in plan that is no longer available and lost it due being lied to. I told them that I didn't want to change my existing plan and not only did they change it they added additional services that I didn't ask for. They assured me that nothing would change and in fact my bill would be less. The bill is actually one hundred dollars more than what I was paying previously. They'll do whatever they can just for a commission. STAY AWAY! They don't even deserve one star. read more

Went into the store to add a line. Worked with a representative named Chad. In order to add a line, I was informed I had to change plans from a legacy plan that had served my family well. Chad assured me that there would be no problem. Well, looked at the AT&T website and figured out that the unlimited plan that I didn't need will actually be $100/month higher. Shame on me. 1 is even a high rating for this store. I had the worse customer experience today at the location. The associate Tory yelled at me after I told him not to raise his voice. He continued to yelled at me and started cursing me out scaring my children to the point that they ran and hid behind a counter. My kids are 7 and 9. This individual yelled, cursed and disrespected me while his co-worker Jorge stood there and did nothing. There was no manager to handle anything. I was at no point disrespectful and condescending. I walked in at 6:20 and at 8 pm I was still there with loyalty dept. On the phone and this kid Tory could not handle his emotions and frustration that 8 pm came and he was still there. That's the only reason I can think of for him to behave in such a manner. This is not a dirt store on the middle of nowhere. Clearly my kids have never seen their mother being yelled at and cursed at. He scared them and disrespected me with no regard of his position as a worker. I Was told by the rep. On the phone to come back tomorrow to speak to the store manager so I could return the phone since due the incident, the transaction could not been completed. A formal complaint was filed. I am still shaken and my kids are still crying after this incident. I would have never expect to experience a situation like this at the Promenade and at a large retailer store. Completely unacceptable. This worker needs to be fired. There is no capacity building training who can help this kid to learn to treat people respectfully. read more

My wife needed her phone replaced as it just recently died. We were greeted the moment we walked in and were honestly told that it would be about 1/2 hour wait as the store was busy. About 1/2 hour later, a salesman (his name may have been Shawn?) walked up to us and was able to bring up my wife's account quickly. He asked if we wanted to upgrade her plan which would save $15 a month so we went through with the upgrade. He also told us about our options with phones. Be very careful when purchasing from this store. I was told my phone would be free if I added another line which I did. I was also told I would save money if I had my payments taken directly out of my bank account which I did. I was told what my payments would be and agreed. I see my first payment taken from my account and it was much higher. Went in 3 times to correct the situation and was promised a refund. Promised the GM would call me twice. He never did. So now I am paying $600 for a phone that was suppose to be free and I have an extra line that I don't need. I've been an AT&T customer since it was Cingular and have never been lied to like this. Went in tonight before closing because I was having an issue with a "bring your own phone" transition with the help line. My device is not a commonly know product (oneplus one) and the in-store associate was not going to let me leave without trying every possible scenario. As a matter of fact, there were 3 associates trying to solve my issue...so I don't know why this store has such bad reviews. I'm very impressed with their level of customer service, even when my issue caused them to stay after regular business hours. Told by ATT Customer Service to go to ATT Store at Promenade Marlton NJ. Got there and was told to sing in and wait outside. Waited 2 hrs and was finally called. When I said I need device diagnostic/repair, the person (called himself Mr. White Store Manager) said they dont do repairs. When I suggested that he contact corporates and tell them not to direct people to Promenade for repairs and put a sign in the window he became very rude and belligerent - hey I'm the one who drove wo min to get there and waited 2hrs! Alex should not represent AT&T as a customer service manager. I ported over my lines on August 18th after being with sprint for 20+ years and never once have I been treated this disrespectful as Alex treated me today. I stopped at the store to return my phones and waited patiently for an hour while Alex left his two coworkers on the floor to deal with a floor packed with customers while he was on the phone. As a worker was walking to the back room I asked if he could grab my old phone that is waiting for me in the back room so that I could just go to a different store to make my return. All of a sudden Alex comes running into my face yelling "I told you yesterday I can't swap the devices" I explained that I have decided to just return the devices and he continued to interrupt and speak over me without even listening to what I was trying to say and did not even bother pulling up my account to try and return the phones. He literally threw insults at me, lied to my face and then told me to leave "his store". I am absolutely shocked that a company could treat a NEW customer as disgustingly inappropriate as Alex treated me today. I checked in with the greeter & waited for my turn. Eventually the sales girl found me & asked what I needed. I told her I was looking for a new phone & that my choices were the LG, the Galaxy s5 and the big iPhone. The sales girl just stood there. No - let me show you this or here is why you might like this, nothing. Just stood there in an Eagles jersey so tight I could see her heartbeat. I asked her if I could see the iPhone first, I stated the display model didn't turn on and I wasn't sure if it was not charged or something else. She said, yeah - it's dead. I asked if we could take a look at it in comparison anyway. She sighed & said 'you've never seen an iPhone before?' See.....I don't need sarcasm or attitude from someone I already told 'I'm here to make a purchase'. If you hate your job, if you hate your boss, if you hate me - that isn't my problem. You're here to sell phones & the attitude is so poor. This center has overall very poor reviews - might be a hint to the mgmt to retrain their staff. There are no words to describe the caliber of people that work at this store. They are beyond pathetic. I dealt with a man named Preston at the front when I walked in. As other reviewers have described, the men here think that they can get away with talking to women however they want to. I actually had to call the corporate office to officially complain and I NEVER do that. Avoid at all costs and Preston, if you are reading this, you really have a bad attitude and need to realize that you work at AT&T in Marlton, NJ - not very important or special by any means. They have screwed me for over a year now. I dont know what they are foingnover there but they set me up with a new phone not telling me they were adding on another line and keeping the old one. They never gave us the money back that we've been paying for (over 500/month). They screwed up my sons phone line. They couldnt get my ipad working and had to ship us a new one instead. The person that came out had a really hard time with the sim card and had to use 8 different sim cards before finally gettong it to work, but then realized that he screwed up my sim card in my phone during the process. He gave me a new sim card. Within a week or so the iPad stopped working off wifi saying there was no sim card. Apparently the phone keeps hanging up on me. I was paying for 6 lines but only had 4 devices.the guy that came out to set up the ipad couldnt out the protextor on for us and it got all screwed up. My son was refusing to use the ipad because of the issues so i then have had a very expensive paper weight. Att keeps saying they will fix all the billing and other issues but dont. They might fix certain issues and it last for a couple weeks or couple months and then comw right back on with extra charges. Then when you call them they say that they see on their end that it was never showing resolved from the previous time but that they will take care of it for me now. Again it works for a short period of time and then they change it again and start charging us again. They have the worst customer service. read more

My husband and I needed to get on a plan together, which involved porting his number from Verizon and transferring my number from my moms plan. Kevin was absolutely amazing. He explained the plans to us, helped us figure out whether we were eligible for discounts, then had Amanda help sign us up. She was equally as helpful. The porting took awhile and she wouldn't let us leave without making sure it went through. Our phones ended up not working and Apple had an hour wait. So Kevin (and the other staff) stayed after closing time to help fix our phones, which now work great. Very happy we chose AT&T for our new plan! read more

Beyond discussed with ATT. I have been a loyal customer for 12 years with 4 lines and have purchased multiple phones though them. This year I got my daughter the iPhone X for Christmas. She had an iPhone 7 and was due for an upgrade through the ATT every year plan. The new phone was delivered around Dec 15. I called Att and told them it was a Christmas present, and would it be okay to start the 10 day return policy after Christmas, once the new phone was activated. They assured me it was not going to be a problem. I returned her old phone on Jan2nd. Yesterday, I received her old phone back in the mail, stating the return period had expired, and I would be charged for another year of installment payments on the old phone, but it was mine to keep!! What ??? I called them today, was on the phone for over an hour, and talked to 4 different people. They all said there was nothing they could do and kept transferring me to someone else, who also could do nothing. I got fed up after and hour and hung up. This company doesn't care about their customer, loyalty, or anything else except making a profit. I am going to make it my mission to tell everyone I know to never get started with Att, they turned into a horrible disgraceful company and should be ashamed at themselves read more

I usually love this location. I am always welcomed kindly and taken care of well by the workers. This time however I was greeted kindly by the worker. He asked me what I needed and began to help me. I have been buying Speck phone cases since I have had my iPhone 4 and 5. You get a one year warranty with them which means if they crack and start to peel you receive that same one for free. The man that helped me proceeded to try and embarrass me by talking very loudly saying that it looked like a dog chewed on my case and this is extreme "wear and tear" and should not honor my return but he will this time. He proceeded to repeat that many times and other "insults" and pulled up my history to see when I purchased my case. I then proceeded to tell him that this seems to happen a lot with this brand of case. That i know many people that have similar problems. They are always cracking and the rubber chips off. He then told me I am wrong and they do not see many complaints. Not for anything sir, but the "customer is always right" and insulting a customer is not the way to help somebody. read more

I went into the store because I droppped my I phone and needed a replacement , I was eligible for an upgrade and purchased a I phone 6 , the salesperson then sold me a bodyguard glass screen protector , plus a needed case when I left the store I was told that as soon as I connected to wifi at home all of my info would be restored ! That was not the case ! I then called the store and the person who answered the phone said that the salesperson who helped me was on dinner and I should call or go to the Apple Store ! I got back in my car and drove to the Apple Store where I got immediate assistance A couple of days later the glass screen protector was chipped and I returned to att only to be told I need to contact the vendor! The service at this location was horrible ! It's all about selling the product and little about customer satisifaction ! I will never visit that location again! I contacted bodyguardz and they wanted 12.95 for a replacement !!! read more
