I only recently switched to AT&T after getting a killer deal from Costco on my phone service. The switchover was pretty seamless, except that one of our phones was not connecting properly. We tried the 800 number for technical assistance and kept coming up short in resolving the problem completely. It took all of three minutes of being in the store for our issues to be completely resolved. I went to that store on 514 Garvey Ave, Monterey park today afternoon because I could not make call or receive either. I got the " missing SIM" message. I went to that store for help. The young lady sale person said that I had to put in new eSIM at 10 dollars. I asked is it the rule that customer have to renew SIM now and then. She replied she don't know. Then I enquired how long this new eSIM will last. She replied she is not sure. I continued do you mean this will be out of service by tomorrow. She said may be she is not sure. If you like you can try other stores. I just wondered is AT&T selling 10 dollars worth of eSIM without guarantee that it will serve one day or more? The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I walked in for assistance on my line and never once was I looked at or spoken too. A woman who kept walking in and out complaining kept taken precedent over anyone one else in the store. A simple apology and notary would've been more than appreciated. Crazy I'm giving 5 stars to a mobile store that I should not have had to go to in the first place. I'll try to summarize this story. So, we decided that Spectrum was for chumps and made the move to Direct TV for the 1st time ever. When I was on the phone with the chick who set it up, she "sold" me a supposedly $1 tablet with no strings attached. "No stings, no bill? What's the catch?" I asked. She told me that it was a promotion and that I get a $1 tablet just cuz.. I was like wuuut.. are you sure? She was like yeah girl... I was like ok, what the heck. Within a few days I received this no strings attached tablet. I put it on my fridge because, I don't need a tablet, kids don't need a tablet and we really have no use for it. Heck, I use my ipad thingy just to play music. Fast forward. 1 month later, I receive an ATT bill.. I'm like wth I have an ATT bill for? Maybe the wifi that I never set up? So I call ATT customer service.. omg.. useless. They ask me for my password. I'm like what password I don't have an account!! 2 hours later, I have no choice but to go into a store to show them my ID in order to verify that I am the account holder for an account that I never created! From the moment I entered this store, they took care of me. Guojji was patient, listened to me talk fast and made it happen. He and his co-workers were awesome. At the end of the day, I walked out, with the false account cancelled with the letter to confirm it. I will forever be a customer at this store. The end. read more

First off, ATT, the company should give this store a bonus for their sales and service. I think that I would have left ATT long ago if it weren't for the excellent attention I receive from the representatives there. Granted I didn't go on a weekend, evening or after the release of a new iPhone or Galaxy Note, but that notwithstanding, the service and interaction was very helpful. I went into the store generally knowing what I wanted to purchase in terms of features and hardware, but still had some uncertainties about what would provide the best bang for my buck. The representative who met with me, Tony, was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. He was able to provide information without trying to steer me in any particular direction. Enough detail to allow me to make an informed choice. Very friendly and detailed, I feel bad seeing him only when I buy a new phone. haha! Made the switch to AT&T after years of T-mobile. No...no iphone, but ended getting a great deal at PCS Station. With tons of cell phone stores in the SGV, it might be a headache to decide which place is right for you. Like finding the perfect companion, your cell phone store must be understanding, giving, and always there by your side. Luckily, PCS station really managed to help me out. They had a special promotion that helped me pay off the early termination fee so that I can switch to AT&T even though my contract with T mobile had not ended just yet. Calvin, the sales rep I worked with, was very professional, yet friendly in helping me decide the perfect plan and phone. He did not try to sell me services I did not need, and suggested way of helping me save money. Along with the freebies he threw in for me, I would say that I got a lot out of my visit to PCS. AT&T fucking sucks. Period. My phone died over 2 months ago and i have been unable to cancel it because every time i call customer service I am given a different answer. Today a phone representative told me the only way to close my cell phone service was to do so in person at a store. I came to this location and the manager told me this was not possible, and it resulted in me waiting in the store while he called....to cancel over the phone. The infrastructure of this company's customer service is full of incompetent employees who have no problem solving skills or basic common sense. These guys are great! Sales associates Tony and Anthony are the most knowledgeable dudes when it comes to cell phones. Especially when I try to front like I'm 'high-tech!' =P These guys know the ins and outs of the business, so I consult with them when buying the latest phones. If you need to open up an AT&T service line, this is the place to go! They will give you the best prices and throw in a lot of extras (ie: car chargers, belt cases, headphones, etc etc.). Best part about this store: great return policy. If decide you are in love with a phone and want to get married to it, but only to discover later that you want a divorce - you have 30 days from purchase of phone to return it back! It's a small Chinese store, but the employees are more than bilingual (Mandarin, Cantonese and English). The guys here were nice, but the one who helped us out was SO beyond accommodating with my craziness and how stressed we were because we were rushed and tired and just had to get this cell phone issue done and over with. It's too bad that we are really unhappy with AT&T because I would love to give this guy commission for opening more lines come this July when my contract expires, but once it's over, we're through with AT&T. I believe who was the manager Ronald helped me solved the problem. i activated 4 lines and got 4 phones from costco, and the bill came out differently from what i was told, i went back costco and they put me through headache. Telling me to go the actuall att store to fix the bill issue, i went to several att store but they just keep telling me to call the customer service center and i called but the issue still exist. I came to this store Ronald explained the bill to me and found out the promotion credit was missing and i believed he called their internal department to get this fix and put me back on track! We help us with the GO-phone and switch them and upgrade them with full explanation of the benefits. The two places where I bought the phones could not help me! They know more than other AT&T stores I've been to and even more than the AT&T staff when you dial 611. The took the time to unlock the US phones for overseas service. I went to see if they could help me with a question and maybe replace my phone. I walked in and there was only one worker speaking to another man in their own native language. He did not say hello or welcome or how can I help you. When I was looking at phone cases and my daughter pointed the phones are not even working and we were looking at and picking up cases then he stopped and was like is there something I can help you with. It seemed like he thought we were stealing. And I had a question about my phone which he didn't even answer clearly and was no help at all. Every couple of years I need a new phone. I have bought phones from other AT&T locations with marginal positive experiences which required multiple follow-up visits. This turns out like a bad trip to the dentist. Pain, frustration and you get to pay for it (AT&T doesn't pay you although I feel they should). Tony at the Monterey Park AT&T store can get you what you looking for, match you to a plan and best of all get you processed and out the door effectively and efficiently. One phone turned into two phones. Tony converted and transferred numbers and we were out in an hour. Most of all I felt confident Tony knew what he was doing and not floundering and learning on the job. Tony is sharp and quick to understand what you need. From my experience you can potentially do a lot worse if you don't come to this AT&T in Monterey Park the team is equally as good. read more
