This store engages in bait-and-switch tactics and took advantage of an 88-year-old Deaf man, which is completely unacceptable. We were explicitly told we were purchasing an iPhone 17, and the salesperson Rigoberto (Rigo) went over all the promotions associated with the iPhone 17, instructing us to return within 30 days to redeem them. We later discovered the phone sold to us was actually an iPhone 16. No one disclosed that the iPhone 17 was backordered, nor did anyone say we were being sold a different model. When we returned to redeem the promised promotions, we were told it was "too late" and that we should have returned the phone earlier--despite the mistake being entirely theirs and based on incorrect information they provided. They refused to honor what was promised, even though the error was their own. The salesperson, Rigoberto (Rigo) was not trustworthy, and the manager, Evian, was unhelpful and unwilling to make a reasonable exception, despite the circumstances and the customer's age and disability. This was dishonest, unethical, and incredibly disappointing. After spending 5 hours over 2 days at home on the ATT website trying to unlock my mobile phone unsuccessfully, we gave up and went to the ATT store in Riverside Plaza. Daryl Sagon, the manager, helped us for more than an hour as we continued to try. While calling ATT on my husband's mobile phone, Daryl communicating with the ATT agent, and using my tablet to receive email instructions from the ATT agent, we eventually got the job done! Steve the manager and the staff offered me a plan to get Internet and it was a scam. I activated it with them and it did not seem right. As soon as i left i called the att line 611 and they instructed me to never go back to that store because it is not one of their stores it is just a retail store and it is not even posted that it is a retail store. They stated that if I would have done fully what they suggested it would have cost me significantly more in the long run. FIBER INTERNET BEWARE: This review isn't really directed at this store directly but more towards AT&T in general. We've had the fiber internet for almost a year now. On January 18, it randomly stopped working. We put in an order online for a technician to come, but since it was a long holiday weekend, they didn't come until the 21st. He informed us that there was an issue with one of the telephone poles 800ft away so they would send a different technician to check it out. On the 22nd a different guy came who said that he NEEDS to get into one of our neighbor's backyard (he only mentioned the street behind us but not which house) since that's where the telephone pole is. He waited a bit but since nobody was home and it was still early, he just left and said he would put in another work order to have someone come later in the evening so hopefully they would be home by then. He said the next morning he would check to see if someone else came. Well on the 23rd, the same guy came back out again since nobody came in the prior evening. Said he waited 30 minutes outside the neighbor's home, but since nobody was home he left once again and said the same thing about putting in another work order to have someone come out later in the evening to catch them home. Well on the 24th, a different technician came out and literally told me the same exact thing the previous technician had been telling me all week. He said nobody was home and that our best bet was to wait until Saturday to have a technician come during a time the neighbors will 'surely' be home. Weekend came and went and we had no calls and no updates from anybody. On the 27th I wasted more than an hour of my day, explaining to 3 different employees on the phone what my issue was. But before I could even get ahold of someone, I wasted a lot of time listening to the automated machine give me a bunch of options, and instead of transferring me to a real person, it just informed me there was already a technician scheduled to come the following day. It wasn't until I finally figured out the fastest and easiest way to get on the phone with someone was to press number 1 and pretend I'm trying to start a new service with them. But 3 different times the call was either transferred to the main menu or dropped. At the beginning of each call, they ALL asked if this number was the best to contact me in case the call got disconnected, guess how many call backs I received? Yup. None. So my thing is, what if the neighbors are in a month long vacation? Are we just going to be screwed out of having Internet since apparently that is the ONLY solution to get the fiber internet back in our home?? It is now the 29th. 11 days. AND they expect us to pay for this month and stay with them?? Time to start looking for another provider. read more

The tech counter (for the second time) repeat their rehearsed, "You have to go back to Apple Store w/proof of purchase)" even though they've pulled up the Accounts and Invoices (since AT&T Wireless sold me the cellular-based products). When I went in this afternoon 08/28/2023 at 18:01:16 to get a replacement screen protector and asked if he could install it, he informed me that he doesn't do it very well and said, no! When i asked a co-worker if he could install it, his response was, "It's the representatives decision!" Please review your store surveillance cameras, I will be sending a very detailed and honest description of what transpired and you can verify it by the body language. Stay away from purchasing a phone from this location. They are dishonest, the salesman talked me into adding an additional line to my plan so I could save $55 a month. He said I would I be charged $1 for a cheap Motorola phone for the new line. My bill doubled! They added additional coverages without my permission! I made several calls to the AT&T loyalty to help me with canceling all the unnecessary fees the salesman added to my account. They were able to disconnect my new line without any further penalties. This was my first and last time purchasing a phone at an ATT store. I never had a problem purchasing an Iphone at Target or Costco! Came in for a AT&T screen protector for Iphone. I was charged a replacement cost when the originally purchased product has a lifetime warranty, and when store technician installed it on the phone, it was installed incorrectly, but they would not install it again free of charge even though it was installed incorrectly with bubbles and peeling on one side of the screens. read more

I went there right before closing on Saturday 12/4 Lorenzo was so nice and helpful. He helped me open a new line and also took the time to help me find all accessories I needed. He was patient and took his time explaining all products I had questions on. Also while I was there the other associate was helping a 75 year old lady with her bill which most places usually don't take the time to do. I highly recommend this location their customer service is awesome read more

We walked in and were greeted very friendly by the gang. Peter was our sales rep and he helped us so much I cannot even begin to say how happy I am! Be careful, and if you buy a phone with them, check your bill they will add unnecessary stuff to your bill like jump (upgrade your phone early)phone protection, and change your plan. ZERO stars for incompetent customer "service". Walked in on 11/5/22 to return trade-in phones, Fernanda informs us that they can't print a receipt for our transaction, in other words, no proof of our trade-in. She tells us that we should get an email, however, she typed the email address wrong and we never receive the proof of return!! Then, another employee meddles in our conversation and says that I can call 611 and they would have it, so I do that, and ATnT is unable to see the transaction and they tell me, "do not to leave the store without a receipt." At the end, the manager was able to print, by some miracle, and we got the receipts they said they couldn't print. This entire experience could have been avoided if they had just printed us a receipt from the beginning. The customer "service" reps need to do better. read more

There was a worker by the name of Jason McClure who went above and beyond helping me. I cannot even describe how great of an experience we had. My mother was done with our current provider, Sprint because of their awful customer service. She went into AT&T Thursday 11/30 after Sprint angered her. Henry, the manager, greeted my mom and gave her quotes on switching over. He wasn't pushy AT ALL. He left her with his number and told her to give him a call when she decided. We all talked it over and decided to go back in Saturday 12/02 and switch everything over. Upon returning Henry immediately took care of us and displayed an almost super human amount of patience. He explained all the answers to our questions, even when we asked for the 7th time. We came in about 45 minutes before closing, something that would understandable irritate some workers, but Henry and Chris never looked the least bit upset. They were warm, genuine, and kind. Making sure all of our phones were switched over exactly as they were before. By the time we left my mother was almost in tears, shocked and amazed by how much Henry sincerely seemed to care about our family. We are paying a little more than before but every dollar is worth it. Not because of the faster data, free HBO, or all brand new phones, but because of the EXEMPLARY customer service displayed by Henry and his whole team! read more

I made an appointment for iPhone X preorder day with the assistant manager Donnie. Come preorder day, I never received a call or confirmation for my appointment. I was told Donnie wouldn't even be coming in to work until 2pm when my appointment was at noon. Turns out authorized retailers don't have a system of appointments and the appointments made are the responsibility of the workers that make them. It's super irresponsible to make an appointment and not keep it, especially for a high ranking worker like an assistant manager. Joshua this wonderful, kind, patient, knowledgeable, funny, smart, well spoken and most of all caring sales associate. He saw hiw much distress I was in and took the time to actually help me. Such a disappointment to be in a store with employees/managers having disagreements with each other aloud. My husband and I went in this evening to purchase some new smart devices as we've had ours for a few years now and while browsing another guest came in. The guest was requesting a printed out quote on pricing etc for a specific plan with devices etc. after the guest left is when it happened. The two employees one Caucasian and one Hispanic began to discuss the situation. I over hear the Hispanic employee telling the Caucasian employee that he shouldn't correct him in front of customer and used profanity while saying it to him. He was pretty upset in demeanor and with the tone of his voice. I told my husband that we should leave to avoid being a part of any altercation in the store as I didn't know what to expect. I'm all for working out your differences however, there is a way of going about it and definitely doesn't require profanity or an aggressive approach in front of guest who were in there to purchase that ended up walking out empty handed. I've already Shut off other services with att due to similar situations, and really thinking of closing my final account being wireless with them and moving on to other competitors who are cheaper in price with more coverage. I called and spoke with the staff a couple months back about an upgrade to my phone. They said I could upgrade to an Iphone 11 and it would only cost me an additional $15 per month on my bill. As of now, my bill has gone up by almost $30 per month and I'm still trying to get it corrected through AT&T corporate. When I spoke with Peter, who claims to be the store manager, he was rude to me over the phone. He definitely could use some management training and people skills. I have dealt with customers my entire career and have never treated anyone verbally as he did to me. I don't generally write negative reviews but I think this one is warranted.
