Terrible. I got nothing down but a bad taste. The representative did show willingness to help. All my questions met with a negative response. To my question of what the newer model would offer compared to what I had, the answer was "You don't need it." That was not my question and that was not your decision. At one time, I was suggested to go to Apple store to purchase the new Watch. I left the store with time wasted and a bad feeling. The next day I went to the downtown store. the representative, another young man, answered all my questions and helped me transfer the data to the new device, all the while being patient and pleasant. I don't know about the AT&T store, but AT& T wireless customer service must be the worst in the country.....yes, worse than Comcast/Xfinity. I spoke with two AT&T customer service reps located in Texas on the telephone to find out how to change my voice mail message on my mobile phone because the directions on the AT& T website did not work. Neither person I spoke with knew what to do. In fact, they could not even understand what I wanted to do , i.e. change the voice mail message. I will have to go to the At&T store in person to find some help. Maybe it's time to switch to Verizon or T-Mobile. read more

Upsellers at best, fraudsters at worst. Son and I went in to transfer coverage from T-Mobile to AT&T. Salesman asked whether we wanted to upgrade our phone. No, we didn't. Okay, he said -- we'll just get the new SIM card installed and all will be well. But no! The SIM card wouldn't work with our current phone -- something terribly wrong with the phone, supposedly. Our scammer even went so far as to put the card in my phone and call my son in order to prove it wasn't the card but my son's phone. By now we've killed our T-Mobile service, and the scammer says our only option is to get a new phone -- or to go down the road to the T-Mobile store to get them to re-activate it. When it's clear that's exactly what we intended to do, our scammer said, well, let me look in the back and see if there's another card that might work...maybe it's a defective SIM card after all! (After, of course, demonstrating that it wasn't.) Magically the new card worked. Terrible, terrible. Avoid. read more

First, we called ahead to make sure the phones we wanted were in stock. They were. Great. We waited for a while outside until enough customers had left to make available capacity. While we waited an agent checked with us, and we explained the phones we wanted, what we currently had, and that this was clearly an upgrade scenario. Once we were let inside it took the reps over half an hour to find the phones. The Rep brought the phones out, and then asked for our phone numbers. ... and then immediately told us that the "upgrade system" was out and we actually had to go to the Apple store down the road... and that he had just sent the customers who had just left (making capacity for us to come in!!!) the same thing. So to review: 1) The Rep knew the POS for upgrades was down. 2) Sent the customers before us away for the same reason. 3) Knew we were the same scenario. 4) Took an boggling amount of time to find the phones he knew he could not sell to us... 5) Put the phones in front of us 5) ... and then told us we could not buy them. Lacey Haas provided stellar customer service today when navigating through the quagmire of AT&T corporate on-line support (sitting with us for over an hour and two NON-customer service oriented rated agents who abandoned our call whilst the other refused six times to give us her credentials in the event that she also 'ghosted' us. Through perseverance and professionalism, Lacey escorted us through the arduous tasks of re-adding our Daughter to our account (that corporate AT&T dropped and added a number that we never heard of). If I could give this store minus stars, I would. I bought a cell plan here in January and was told that I would be able to call Australia on the new plan. Last week, in the middle of a call to Australia, my phone died. I went back to the store today and was told that to call Australia I would have to pay $4.00 a minute and that they do not provide any non-US plans. This was absolutely not what I was told in January. The sales person I was talking to kept looking around when I talked to him, like he was bored and was waiting for a friend to come by. He really didn't seem like knew anything. I asked to speak to his manager and he told me that his manager couldn't talk to me, because he was on an important phone call. I ended up walking over to T Mobile, where I got really great service. read more

I am not there to buy the latest phone but I always get great service, patience, today Brandon wouldn't give up but went the extra mile. I recommend that AT&T location to all my friends. Based on the slew of other one star reviews, I think it's pretty well established that this location has poor service- they seem perpetually understaffed, the person who checks you in/the greeter cannot multitask, and you will be told "someone will be with you in a moment"every 3-5 minutes for the next half and hour. I don't fault the store staff for the lack of service but rather, the store manager as well as the district manager for setting such low service standards- stop being cheap and staff your stores properly. A little extra payroll to train/retrain service standards couldn't hurt here as well. I have nothing more to add except that I was told that it would take 15 to 20 minutes to purchase something that I needed no additional assistance with (a SIM card for my iPhone)- I literally needed someone to grab one, take my money, and send me on my way yet they couldn't even help with that. Long story short, don't waste your time here, order online or, if you have access to the location on the Microsoft main campus, go there- they're actually competent and friendly! read more

NEVER BUY APPLE PRODUCTS FROM AT&T ONLY BUY THEM FROM APPLE that's the moral of the story below!! I purchase an iPhone 11 pro max for an AT&T store. They sales guy first told me I could sell them my old phone for $300 credit to my new phone which I was into. As we were starting to setup my new phone another salesperson said that promo was no longer going on. He kind of brushed it off like it wasn't a big deal. That's was the first problem. The second problem I bought a lemon iPhone 11 pro max that I haven't even been able to use!! This came to be by not filling setting up my new phone in the store. Because the salesmen told us that their Wifi was not very good and that it would be better if we did it at home. I shouldn't have let him rush us out the door!! When I got home and started setting up the phone I got to the step where phone wanted a software update. I followed the steps and when it shutdown and restart it was back to the steps to setup my phone I already did. My phone was stuck in a loop and would not go past the software update screen. It also was turning itself off before I even got to that screen. So I call AT&T they tried to troubleshoot that didn't work passed me along to Apple support. Where I had to update iTunes on my computer to try and get the software update that way. I got of the phone with the Apple tech he told me it may time out and I may have to try to do it a few times before it worked. I never worked. Went to different AT&T a few hours after purchase the 11 and the manger help get me to a point where my photos were showing up on my phone from the cloud but my new phone still needed the software update. I left the store feeling like everything was going to be working. Only on the ride home my new phone was turning off and on by itself still!! When home I called AT&T again the person on the phone tried to troubleshoot with me but in the middle of that my phone would just shut down! I was told to return it to the store. We had to activate my old iPhone 7 Plus. The next day we went to the AT&T store where we bought it. The original guy that helped us, helped us again he said we could return it but with a $45 restocking fee!! That's right after hours of "troubleshoot" a phone that I had never even made a phone call on I was going to have to pay AT&T!! I said no way!! He said maybe the manager could help us but there was no manager in the store until tomorrow. He said that the manager would tell us to take it to the Apple store because once it's opened that it's apple's problem and that the phone was still under warranty. We took it to the Apple store right after. After a lot of diagnosing Apple said they had to send it out and couldn't just give me a new phone. So I paid $1,200 for a phone that currently do not have and have never even used!! The Apple specialist did say that they can see that my iPhone 11 had left the AT&T store and was probably returned!! I was sold a USED phone!! Since Saturday I have spent over 8 hours trying to get my "NEW" phone to work. I feel like no one cares, I can't believe AT&T treats customers this way! Our phone bill is over $250 a month and to be treated this way is very disappointing!! I don't even know where to go from here!! I just got off the chat and the conclusion of that chat was I already did everything AT&T would do. They did confirm that the phone was linked to 3 other lines but are trying to tell me that only been my phone number. read more

So in general I hate AT&T but keep them because my original plan was so good. The only AT&T that I really like is the original store I signed my contract with in Chicago- as it is what they call a promotion store (When you come to this store to work you are being groomed to be promoted to upper management roles) so the service was unbelievable. Then I moved to NYC and was lied to when I was upgrading my phone and when I called AT&T directly and told them what happened to me at the Park Ave Store and the woman on the phone told me that the AT&T Park Ave location in NYC had just frauded me (they did a lot of backtracking-I was offered everything but a pony). So knowing the fact that I had gotten good service in my Chicago store and then being frauded in my NYC store I came her very hesitant. I came in and made an appointment-The store is not really in the mall but sort of is (the mall is an outside mall)...it is on the outskirts (It's in a goofy location). I was greeted by Josh and he was nice enough. I had broken the screen on my Android phone (I hate iPhones) and it was going to cost me quite a bit from an outside provider and would be without a phone for about a week. I really thought Josh was going to send me on just buying a new phone...oddly he did not?! He gave me some options-they weren't great options-let's be real here: 1. Buy out the remainder of the contract on my phone and purchase another phone @$440+@$749 for a new phone??? Yeah no -The most expensive 2. Buy a cheapie phone for about $50.00 and change out the SIM while I am waiting for my screen LCD to be fixed. 3. He offered me a loaner phone change out the SIM while I waited for my screen LCD to be fixed. (cheapest but the area in the mall is a nightmare which meant I would have to come back to return the phone). So he wasn't trying to screw me over which was nice and refreshing. I ended up flipping SIM card for an old iPhone I oddly had in the car that day...which cost me nothing except a visit to the store. If you go in ask for Josh he was nice and real...and there was nothing shady about him, which was refreshing after hearing about some other nightmare stories about this location on here. However they will never get anything but 3 stars from me due to my past experiences with AT&T. read more

This review is purely based on customer service, particularly of the person whose job it is to greet customers. Super unfriendly and horrible attitude. Basically got the "well that's a stupid question" look to some of my inquiries relative to AT&T service and products. Eventually put my name in the queue hoping to have better luck with a sales rep. She asked for my number and said we will call you. Gee, no call, and turns out they call you by name in person at the store. Would be nice to actually give that instruction as I was walking out to kill some time somewhere else. When I went back to check in they were very nonchalant about my dismay with the service. I wish I would of looked at these reviews before I went into the store today. Keep in mind I came into the store on a Monday around 3:30pm so the store was completely empty but there was only 2 sales rep. One had their feet on the couch and another was in the back of the room playing on his phone with one hand while the other hand supported his head. The rep resting her feet on the couch, quickly jumped up and greeted me and checked me in without even asking me what brought me into the store. After I check in I told her how my phone that was just sky of a year was no longer working to the point I couldn't even turn it on. After looking at my account she informed me that it was 3 weeks outside the warranty and I don't have insurance so there was nothing she could do to help me. Even though my phone did not work, I would still be liable to pay for the phone and service. I told her I've been a customer for over 10 and this was how you were going to treat me just because I wouldn't provide a sell for you? I was shocked and told her I would be taking my business else where. So before I switch carriers I called their support line and told them about my experience and how bad this stores customer review are! Do yourself a favor and switch to a different carrier before walking into this store. It will save you time and frustration. read more

A dear friend of mine has great parking karma - something I don't possess. What I have is good people karma - the kind where I don't usually get the terrible waiters or surly store employees or run into the parents of screaming kids. I'm blessed, I know. Karma failed me at this store. When you walk in, any employee foolish enough to glance your way will just as quickly glance away to avoid having to say anything to you until they're damn good and ready. When they are ready, they will make a beeline to the person standing in front of the most expensive phone, regardless of the order in which customers arrive. They will rarely make any significant eye contact while helping you. Do not buy a GoPhone here. Do that online. If you want a GoPhone (that's a pre-paid phone) you are the lowest of the low. Why you want a prepaid phone in the first place is irrelevant. When you buy a new phone and have them switch over the phone number and give you a new SIM card because the old one jumped into a swimming pool along with its phone and owner, you will ask about the $50 airtime credit that comes with the new phone. They will tell you that the credit only comes with new phone activations. 15 minutes later in the car on the way home a message will appear on the new phone stating the $50 credit is now active. Yay for that. Boo for the employee. Oh, and of course, since karma failed me in this store, we also had to endure 15 minutes of a mother with 3 very young children running around and screaming in the store while knocking things off racks and playing under counters while mommy said things like "oh you precious poppets" and "you are such sweet muffins." This isn't the fault of the AT&T store, but it does make me wonder if this store is indeed a swirling vortex of bad karma. read more

I visited this University Village store today in order to purchase a new SIM for my mother, who lost hers while traveling overseas. Prior to visiting, I was told by an AT & T phone rep (and two employees of this store) by phone that they would be able to sell me the new SIM, and migrate her phone over to it. However, when I arrived, the young kid at the front desk said nope, no, they're all wrong. Not possible. (Actually, when I arrived, the young kid ignored me for several minutes -- rather than saying something like "Welcome! I'll be with you in a moment" -- but we'll skip that step.) He gave me some lame excuse about my mother being on a pre-Cingular AT &T plan, and said I'd have to sign a new two-year contract to receive a replacement SIM. He adamantly insisted that this was the case, and made no effort to solve the problem. In other words, he didn't know how to solve the problem himself, and therefore insisted it wasn't solvable - rather than get help or figure out how to actually fix it. (After all, it's really easy to be done with those pesky non-commissionable customer transactions if you don't actually help the customers, eh?) I left the store, and called AT&T's main service number, who was able to resolve this supposedly "impossible" problem within 5 minutes, with a new SIM in the mail en route to my mother. But with no thanks to the pathetic employee who "helped" me in this store, though. read more

The store inside is very nice.. comfortable layout and airy and very light inside. The inability of staff to give directions from the bridge or viaduct which comes from UW area still boggles my mind Most stores are happy and want to give directions and have staff who know the landmarks near their stores- not this one. This disconnect makes me wary unfortunately. So when I was matched with the same person who couldn't give directions I did not feel my most positive as she likely also did not. She wanted to charge me for a SIM card which I was told I could get for free from their phone customer service people. She stated it is a new policy. I said something didnt feel right. Because I had so many bad experiences getting the phone fixed I decided to cancel the account. Sometimes it is time to just let go. read more

Saturday I went into this store for help in getting put on a list for the new I phone 6. I expected to wait, and if I had my number would have been 18 on the list, and I would have done that. The person that checked people in to be put on that list said that the person that was number ONE had been waiting 85 minutes and still had not been seen by their staff. That is ridiculous, so I walked out in disbelief. Sure, there are longer lines during the weekend, makes sense, but why were they not staffed for the extra demand? read more

When I tried to get a defective iPhone looked at, I was told "I've never heard anyone say that", "You're doing it wrong" and "call Apple Care" (I had just told the guy I DID call Apple Care, and spent a total of 6 hours on the phone with them, 3 different calls, and Apple Care said go back and get another one. Glad the guy in the store was listening to me). If you just want to get in, spend your money, and get out, this is your place. My phone decided to start shutting itself off, sending my calls straight to voice mail, deleting text messages before I could read them - so many cute things. I took it by this store on my way home from work. Girl looked at it, looked up my account, told me I was still under warranty and gave me the number for the warranty center so that they could ship me a new one. 3 days later, new phone. Helpful, quick and friendly can't be beat. read more

Read some of the reviews for this location and have to say that I had a fine experience, but had a terrible experience at the Pacific Place with the store manger Brandon Coleman. Jeff helped me out and did an amazing job! He also listened to my big story about how Brandon Larson ( misogynist extradinar ) the manager at Pacific Place verbally abused me. He returned the phone I was unhappy with and helped me set up my new phone. But, the one thing Jeff did that I thought was totally professional and extremely cool was, he asked one of the other staff members to change the questionable music that was playing in the store. I didn't complain about it, and in fact, didn't really even notice it until he asked the guy to change the station. I was impressed by his concern for young children who might be shopping with their parents and older folks that don't want to listen to questionable music while at the AT&T store. That all said, I like this store and will go back to do my phone business. And, Jeff should be moved into a store manager position because he's a good listener, great sales rep and cares about the store. read more

My boyfriend has had issues with his phone for about a month. We stopped by this store to get it sorted out and they told us to call technical support. We got the run around with technical support and finally were told to get a new device. We stopped by again on July 10, but the account got flagged as fraud. We had to call their fraud department and got that sorted out and finally were told that we were good to get a new device. We stopped in today, July 11 at 11:10 AM. Please know that the store was not busy at all. The previous day, we had worked with Mike and he was good and offered us good customer service even though we couldn't get the device that day. Today we worked with Rasheed who was absolutely uninterested in helping. He wasn't at all kind. Finally, after processing our request, he told us we were good to go but didn't really want to help us set up the new phone or help us put the new screen protector on. His excuse was that "due to Covid reasons" he could not put on the screen protector for us and that we would have to do it ourselves. That's fine, however the previous day his associate had put on the screen protector on for a customer. So I told him that and he then said "yeah but we have other customers". So you don't want to help us? Just say that. Rasheed was literally lying and unhelpful. Mind you, my boyfriend and I are vaccinated and we're wearing our masks. So his lie about covid being the reason he didn't want to assist us in putting the protector on was bs, he also wasn't wearing a mask so what is the truth Rasheed? Glad to be done with this store and experience. If you need a device please do yourself a favor and go with a different location or choose Verizon. Do not go to this store, or avoid Rasheed at all costs. He will lie to your face and get annoyed with you for not choosing their insurance plan. read more

Josh was patient and attentive and was not pushy at all when it came to explaining options and warranties. More than willing to assist with my my backup and new phone loading, and went the extra mile to ensure everything worked properly. I've been to other att shops where they pretty much throw the phone at you and tell you to connect it to iTunes at home. AT&T Store - Mobile Phones Near Me - Seattle, Washington

They must have teleported the old store away and replaced it with a new one populated by evolutionarily advanced beings disguised as ATT employees! We've all heard the horror stories about ATT customer service, so I wasn't expecting much when I walked in with my old prepaid phone that I couldn't reactivate, even though I had valid airtime card. However, as soon as I walked in, I was quickly acknowledged by one of the staff who asked how he could help as I got to the counter. To make a long story short, I explained my issue, handed over the phone and airtime card, and he was able to figure out that the SIM card had been canceled, causing my issues. He very nicely installed a new, working SIM card without charge and got my airtime loaded, so I've got a working backup phone again. Taking a frustrating customer problem and solving it on the spot with no hassle and no charge, now that's customer service! That's the best I've been treated in ANY cell phone store, not just ATT. I did notice that all the staff were rushing to open the front doors for the customers they'd been helping on their way out, so I still think it's plausible that all the staff have been replaced by very nice aliens... read more
