This is not how you treat your elders in this community or anywhere!!! The lack of disrespect and professionalism at the store needs to be acknowledged. It is a disgrace how we were treated. My 74-year-old mother doesn't need to stress out going in there trying to get everything set up properly. Once they sold us her Samsung brand new phone, they wouldn't have nothing to do to help us with setting anything up. He even showed us. There was a glitch in the computer system to get another person as an authorized user. There was no glitch. He just didn't want to figure it out. My mother was back in today trying to have somebody help us since there was customer service telling us that we needed to go into the store and then when we go into the store, it was dead. Nobody was even there and they had two people working with one person. Then the employee mentioned to my mother if she knew of anyone, that was looking for a job to send them there what kind of shit show are they running here!? No wonder why nobody wants to work there it's unprofessional and why would you be asking your customer that when she went in there specifically for a problem that needed to be sorted out. I was actually going to upgrade to the 16 Pro, but I will not give them my business unfortunately we are locked into a contract with them and they even had the nerve to tell us to go somewhere else because they didn't feel like bothering to help my mom figure out a pin code so that we can call and check our bill! Not to mention as well, ago when I got my own plan and added my mother, they told us if we had AARP we would qualify for a discount not mentioning that since my mom is clearly over 55+ we could've been paying $30 cheaper a month. They said that this was their corporate store and that plan has been going on for years, which is really funny because it clearly wasn't. They just failed to tell us that so that we would pay more. Talk about a lack of customer service and attention to detail. Good luck you're going to be fed to the wolves as soon as they get your money, make their commission and you walk out the door even if you have a simple question they are going to treat you like shit! DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE. I left Verizon to be lied to and end up paying the same amount. I dealt with Luis, who said I was getting all these discounts with a new phone, new customer, etc. I wanted to pay for my phone outright but he stated I would be missing out on my discount if I paid it off that day. He told me I could pay it in full without penalty in 60 days. My first few bills were significantly lower. I went back into the store to pay the phone off and again, dealing with Luis, he said I'd be missing out on the discount and why didn't I pick up my free smart watch? He advised that I was entitled to a free watch no strings, no catch and it also would keep my bill low. He also tried to get me to get a tablet as well, as it would also lower my bill and I could just not use it. I said no. After receiving the watch on my next bill, I saw another line was added to my account for the watch, which doubled the bill! I spoke with Onadel and Chris, managers, at the store. They told me to come back when Luis was there. I went back asking for the GM, after Luis hid from me. They said he was talked to, but there was nothing they could do and come back another day to speak to the GM. I took off work, at the time they said he'd be in and no GM. This store lies to customers, and is committing fraud. They also tried to do the same to our neighbor but we warned them. Someone needs to report them as their commission should not be dependent on lies and fraud. read more

Had a visit where sales person charged a protection fee after upgrading my daughter's phone. Found out after reviewing my bill. I already had a family protection plan I was paying for already. I was not able to get the full amount credited. Second time the sales person's sales tactic is to say that the price of accessories is included in the price of the phone. I'm so frustrated after having my I.D. Stolen from this business it is the AT&T Store in Winter Garden Village in Orlando Florida off Daniels.......I have filed a major criminal complaint with corporate but I'm still concerned my information could have been given to anyone. I gave my drivers license to the red headed guy in the store and forgot to get it back. I went back a day and half later and they had my Drivers License but wouldn't give it back. They told me they had it for processing to be shredded. They end up throwing me out! I'm so frustrated the police are next. I haven't heard from the owner or anyone yet!? I'm really confused as to how this location has such a poor rating?! Today, around 4 pm, my husband and I came here with a shattered screen (iPhone 7). Chuck helped us, and gave us many options, quotes, and suggestions from what he has experienced. He was FANTASTIC! THEN another worker named Nick chimed in with more options and experiences. We all sat together at a table to discuss what may be our best option. Both of them were incredibly helpful! But on a side note, my husband was very upset that he had shattered his phone's screen (he's never done this before, and as a multi business owner it's basically his lifeline). Both Chuck and Nick had such a great sense of humor that my husband finally calmed down, and laughed it off. Thanks guys! read more

I came in to upgrade my phone and the woman helping me told me the only option was to spend $850 and buy it out right. I wanted the phone so I went ahead and purchased it - they did not have any so it was ordered. Once I left, I spoke with friends and found out that they were running a promotion if you turn in your 6 you get a free 7. Or at the very least they will give you a credit on your old phone. So I came back in and asked about it and they were completely unhelpful. They wouldn't give me the promotion and they wouldn't even help me with a phone credit. They told me the promotion was over even though the woman who walked in in front of me was literally getting the exact promotion I was asking about. WTH???? They told me she "preordered" but that's a bit hard to believe bc I heard her ask for the promotion when she walked in. Appalling!!!!!!! I very rarely write bad reviews but this place is HORRIBLE!!!! They do not care about their customers. I asked why no one offered me options when I was in earlier and the new guy helping me said, that would just be a courtesy, not something we have to do. On December 24th, 2019 while I was visiting family in Florida from CT, I went into the Daniels Rd Winter Garden, Fl location. I was not looking to make ANY purchases, just pricing. Tyler told me that they had a good deal of free iPhone with unlimited data, for only $140 per month. we asked for proof in writing and he showed us on the his tablet the offer. After an hour I did purchase the iPhone after we asked numerous times what were all the fees, additional charges. He said only the taxes for the phones. I paid the taxes. He said he would set up paperless billing and auto pay(he never did). I get a text from ATT on 12/27/2019 about a new phone purchase and $289.00 bill. So where is the discount? Its invisible because Tyler lied. I contacted CS right away. Not only did he not set up auto bill pay, and no paperless billing, but there were $90 in activation fees. So much for being Honest. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! I have been disputing these charges and I do not live in Florida. Luis the manager at the store claimed he would contact me....Well...guess what...he never did. Once again taking advantage of the elderly. Don't believe the sales reps at the store and especially stay away from the so-called managers. Oh and not $140 bill. Horrible experience. read more

Chris was awesome! My iPhone 6 was having battery issues after a few years, and I came in for an upgrade. He talked us through all of the differences between the 6s and the 7, payment plans, etc, and helped us with setup. When we learned it would take a few hours and strong wifi to move all my info over, Chris let us leave the two phones with him at the store to ensure the connection went through. He was an incredible help, and was so patient with us. I highly recommend Chris and his expertise and service. read more

This location has a rude guy and a girl who goes along with the insanity. I went in on 10/14/2017 to buy my mother a phone as a gift because she was at work and dropped it. My mother is a on plan with her sister who lives in CT. My aunt could not afford to replace my mothers phone to repair it was really expensive. I went to the store to buy my mother a new phone. It just so happens that my mother has a prepaid account. I tried to get with my aunt before purchasing but due to the company she works for her phone was off. Anyways, I called AT&T customer service and spoke with James(extremely nice) he told me that I could purchase the phone online or at the store and there would be a simple change of sim cards and getting a new sim card. Because my mother lives alone she needs a working phone. I went to the At&T store in Winter Garden on Daniels road to make the purchase. Keep in mind I did ask prior if I needed my mom or her number I was told by customer service "NO", So I get to the store, a young lady at the business center register with dark brown hair asked if I needed help. I told her the whole entire situation. She was like "No, problem you can purchase the phone and we don't need your mom or her number because it is a gift." She went to the back to get me the phone. Then another guy comes over and says "Are you being helped?" I said yes and he said "what is she helping you with? I said excuse me, but I'm all set. He said "Whats the number that the phone will be under that you are purchasing?" I asked him why do you need to know the number, its a gift?" Then he became nasty and said "We have to register the phone now, because you are buying a pre-paid phone. Whats the number?'" I said no I do not have to give the number if its for a gift." The girl came back "She said we are all said I can ring you up." The guy said "No you can not sell her this phone because we need to register it and I need the number." The young lady said " Why, its a gift?" He said you can not sell it we need the aunts number or her mothers." I was like wait a second I have been with AT& T for over 16 years and you are telling me I can not purchase a phone as a gift. He said no because you might try something with it and we can't have it. So no we can not sell it without the number. " Guess what stupid customer service guy that is a lie. In August 2017, I bought my husband a phone and my son a prepaid phone for their current accounts at the AT&T store in Clermont and no one there asked me for a phone number when I told them it was a gift because it was a gift. The young lady understood. I wish I had his name, but he did not have a name badge on because I looked for it. I will not say his nationality because that we would be stereo typing like he tried to do with me. So be warned this store has bad customer service and I will not return to this store again. By the way I did go to another AT& T location and bought the phone without giving the number. I did not want to give out my mom's number because I did not want her to know she had a new phone, It was a surprise for a mom that works extremely hard and deserves something good. Purchased a iPhone 8 Plus recently and customer service wasn't great. I traded in my phone for a new phone and felt as if I was rushed out the store without my new phone set up from the AT&T sales associate. I'm a long time customer with this store and with AT&T. When I made it home to open my new phone it wouldn't turn on or do anything even after I plugged it in. I called the Store and was told they would have someone call me back when my sales associate was finished with his client that he was assisting . A hour later I called back and spoke to the sales associate and he let me know that they were closing in five minutes and I would have to wait till the next day at 11 AM to see what they can do to help me with the phone. Let just say I never received a phone call the next day to see if I have anymore problems with the phone. I was able to get the phone to work correctly by looking up ways to get iPhone to work or to restart. I Called the manager on Monday to speak with him regarding the situation and he mentioned he would call me back within the hour after he checked the video cameras of the store. It's been over 12 hrs and here we are a day later and I have yet to receive a phone call from the manager. I'm not one to make a complaint but this is very bad customer service !!! read more

If you could give less of a rating I would. Please, save yourself the time and drive to AT&T's Altamonte store if you have to do any business in person. You will NEVER get back the time you spend wasting with these people. I was referred to this store by AT&T's telephone customer service. When I was shipped the incorrect phone, AT&T customer services said this retailer could swap my phone out for the correct one as they had twenty in stock so that I would not have to wait for the correct phone to ship. I met nothing but resistance with the staff at the store: they couldn't just swap phones, there would be a restocking fee, they can't contact AT&T themselves to reach a corporate supervisor, etc. Hello, aren't you an AT&T representative? No wonder they have so many phones in stock, the have no customer service. If you value your time as I do, and your sanity take my advice and head to the Altamonte store if you HAVE to walk in to a store. Spare yourself this mess. read more
