The service was great. I felt bad because this one lady was so nice and she took care of us. I kept asking her questions where things was and she was always so kind and helpful with a smile and on point. The selection is amazing you can go in there and do your whole home in one shot. I've become way too familiar with home decor and home need stores over the past 6 months. Since moving into my first real home (with my fiancée at the time, now wife), I've learned all there is to learn about every home store there is, and I'll say that At Home in Bohemia is a pretty formidable one. Now many of you reading this might be like, huh? What's that? Never heard of it. And that's because there is (was) only one At Home on Long Island and it was relatively new to the last year or so. Now you can find a second location in East Northport (as well as one in Rego Park) so they're definitely beginning to spread, but this review is about Bohemia. I've been inside this massive eastern Long Island store many times now and found that it really offers quite an assortment of house stuff. Bed, bath, kitchen, living spaces, frames, outdoor, and plenty of actual furniture pieces can be attained at...At Home (gets a little tough to say). We've actually purchased our living room coffee table, side table, and three lamps from At Home (along with plenty of other holiday decor). On that note, seasonal decor is another massive section that At Home rocks. During Halloween it was filled with plenty of scary stuff to display. We obtained an awesome "stone" skeleton statue with glowing red eyes and a few other creepy items to fortify our home for the spooky season. For Christmas, it was a treasure trove of decor that was purchased including plenty of signs, nutcrackers, and a couple of ornaments. We're still waiting to see what comes next for any holidays that fall between now and the Spring. Just so we're clear, At Home definitely is more organized and (honestly) cleanly set up than a store like HomeGoods, though the pricing found in At Home can be a little iffy. Sometimes things just seem legit in dollar amount while other times you might seriously scoff at the price tag. So shopping here can be a bit of a hit or miss, depending on the trip. They do offer discounts, coupons, and a rewards program so those do help combat some higher trips on the decor front. Overall, At Home is a pretty legit house store. You might've not heard of it and that's okay, but if you're looking to decorate or semi-furnish your new home, then you might want to take a trip to one of the many up and coming At Home spots. Honestly, I'd say swing on by Bohemia because this specific store is good enough to make your abode a little more joyful and festive. DO NOT GO HERE! I went here for just for candles, and the store is definitely beautiful but the service is absolutely terrible. For context, i went to simply go check out and they only had 2 cashiers. I expected a little wait but I sat there on line for over 20 minutes waiting to check out. They have no separate return area so everyone is constantly returning goods which takes hours at the register and they are extremely slow at processing their check outs. I tossed the candles on the side and walked out of the store because i refuse to sit there for SO long for candles. the items in the store are somewhat overpriced and it isn't worth the 30 minute wait. WOW! What a store! So this is now my second time at this store location. I couldn't believe how large the store is. This store is a home store with outdoor furniture/decor as well. They have such a massive selection. If you need anything for your home, this is the one stop shop to go to. If you need cushions for your backyard set, they have every color and every pattern, I was amazed! If you need throw pillows, don't you worry because they also have every color and pattern as well! They have so many decorations from picture frames, canvases, vases, etc... they have bar stools, couches, mattresses, rugs for outside and inside for a living room/den/bedroom, decor for the backyard, umbrellas, etc... the list goes on and on! I loved this store so much that I went back a few days later! I told so many people I knew about it and they are going to go. The staff was very friendly and I signed up for their rewards program with my phone number and email. I got a 10% off my entire order coupon in my email that I used today. I have such a love/hate relationship with this store. There is an overwhelming about of decor...literally anything you can think of they have it, it's great. However, the prices are insane (-1 star). To add, if you pay attention you'll find new price stickers slapped over lower priced stickers on most of their products. I was headed to Bed Bath and Beyond when I drove past this new store...curiosity got the best of me so I made my way in and wow, I am glad I did!! The place is huge, and there's a ton of stuff to choose from. I've been searching for a decent sized rug for my office, and immediately found one I liked out of their large selection. I think it took me about an hour to walk through the entire store, stopping and looking at various items, etc. Perfect for a Saturday afternoon when you have nowhere to be and want to get some home goods!
