This used to be Garden Ridge, happily it's pretty much the same, I do like the great selection of seasonal decorations. They have a large selection of pre-lit Artificial Christmas trees and various colors. Christmas ornaments, Christmas everything. The bad thing about shopping here, is I'm buying things I don't need, it's just because there's so many awesome things to to throw in my cart. Cool paintings , throw rugs, indoor and outdoor furniture, kitchenware just a few the name. Even though grilling season is over they still have a nice selection. Of grilling accessories. Oh yes, there's grilling goodies for me to buy, so much for my Christmas ornament shopping, the grilling section has won me over.

Overwhelming is the first word that comes to mind when I think about Garden Ridge. I'm pretty sure you could take this single Garden Ridge store and completely decorate every house in America. They really do have everything you could want for your house! Whether you just moved into a new place like me, or you want to spice up you're current digs, Garden Ridge has it for you at a mostly affordable price. The furniture is on the upper end of the pricing scale of the store, but its still as much or cheaper than any place around. They have a wide selection of rugs for all color schemes and styles at really affordable prices. Tons and tons of pillows and bedding. Beautiful vases that make me want to line every shelf I have with their bright colors and funky shapes. Patio furniture for the 2 weeks out of the year its perfect outdoor weather here in OK. I didn't look closely at this but I'm pretty sure they have decorations for every holiday. I saw Halloween AND Christmas for those who are so inclined to get a jump start on decorating. Picture frames at a price and variety that puts Hobby Lobby to shame. The most random thing here? Scrubs. about 3 or 4 aisles of all different patterns and colors. Although I'm not sure about the quality, they were very affordable at about $10 give or take depending on the details. Back to the overwhelming thing. It's a huge warehouse full of stuff you want. I walked around for a while and ended up not buying anything. Sensory overload. I was looking specifically at the chairs and didn't see what I was wanting, but saw too much I liked in all the other aisles! My advice: go in knowing what you're looking for and you'll be more successful than me! P.S. I don't get why it's called Garden Ridge.

My go to for my makeup :)

This is much like a giant hobby lobby except it's not as neatly put together and it's much more expensive.

I love that this is never the same store twice, because Mike is out searching for pieces almost as many hours per week as the store is open. Specializing in mid-century furniture and kitchenware, you'll also find lots of cool ashtrays, paintings, lamps, and home decor items. He also finds a lot of classic stereo cabinet, which can still be used. We ended up purchasing two side tables. They were in great shape, and have a lot more character than anything we would have found down on furniture row. We also got a cool old pull-down, schoolhouse-style map of South America. Since Mr K lived in Paraguay and I lived in Brasil, I think that's a cool addition to the study. I'm a fan. I'm sure this is the first of many things I'll be purchasing from Mike over the years. He posts photos to their facebook page as he makes new finds, and he will also offer to stay on the lookout for something he knows you're looking for. I can't wait to see what he finds next! Note: If you're there during business hours and the shop is not open for some reason, please call the number on the sign. He may be at an estate sale or at a private in-home appointment, but if you're there and he's not, just give him a call and he'll be back. He really does work hard to be there during regular hours. If he's not, it's a fluke.

I had been looking for cow Hyde rugs & driving by one day, noticed some outside on display. Looking back, my hubby recalls that day clearly as the beginning of the most expensive remodel of our lives that is still ongoing. For many years my husband & I have owned a old farm house by the lake in southern Oklahoma. In the beginning we mostly used it as a vacation home. However, last couple years we have been spending more & more time there remodeling, enjoying the farm, the lake & countryside. Santa Fe's showroom changed our lives. The showroom floor will blow you away when you first walk in. It's beautifully done. It's not only a rustic furniture store, they also do interior design & it clearly shows they know what they are doing. Everything looks gorgeous. First time I walked in, I wanted to purchase everything. Seriously. I wanted EVERYTHING!!! Little over two years now, hubby will tell you I'm still on my mission to do just that! ;) The first thing I purchased was a giant cow Hyde, beautiful rustic buffet & a armoire. Then, I decided we needed to go full rustic Farmhouse with the interior. Rustic blue pine ship lap walls, real barn doors etc., Bc the furniture goes exceptionally well with that style of architecture. My father is an Architect & has helped with the structural changes. It's been a real overhaul. We gutted the whole house. One trip to Santa Fe Company, that's all it took & my whole house has been transformed. I have now purchased all our rustic beds, end tables, kitchen island, chairs etc. The pieces I have are well crafted durable rustic furniture that wears exceptionally well. The more you use it the better it looks. I haven't had any problems with any of my pieces. Most recently I stopped by to see what was new & fell completely in LOVE with a wood bench. A redesign of an old wood bench that graced the halls of a old school convent. It goes perfectly by the front door as you come in to hang your coat & take off your shoes. My favorite piece yet. Santa Fe Company has definitely captured my imagination. As long as I can dream, I have no doubt I will keep dreaming & adding more & more to the project. Hubby said looking around the showroom last visit seeing all the new pieces that we could possibly squeeze in here or fit over there, he doesn't know if we will ever be done. That's ok I said, I can Dream on. Highly recommend.
