Never having to drop off or pick up your own dry cleaning again? It's as if the gates of dry cleaning heaven have opened and there's a chorus of angels singing, waving your racks of dry clean-only garments in the wind. Ok, perhaps a bit dramatic, but I love me some clean clothes. I dry cleaned some delicate silk chiffon dresses and sweaters (a few with some stubborn makeup stains and some pretty bad stains at the hems), and I got them back perfectly clean and on time. Really, the only thing I had to do was open my door, and voila! My clothes like new on my doorstep. I'm admittedly way too lazy to haul all my dry cleaning anywhere, so the novelty of getting my clothes picked up and dropped off is pretty damn amazing. Nguyen is super friendly and always on time with drop-offs and pick-ups. Prices were just one factor in choosing and staying with AYD. When I text Nguyen, he usually responds quickly too. I am one of those people who drop off their clothes at the dry cleaners and take days for me to pick it up. Not anymore! I found an awesome pick up and drop off service. Nguyen (owner) picks them up from me and drops them off when they're ready. It's usually a two-day turnaround, but upon special request, it can be done in 24 hours. He's flexible. He also delivers them to my convenient. There are times that he has picked up my clothes at my work place and drop them off at a different location. Amazing! I'm done with dry cleaners where I have to be there before they close. I love the way they hem my pants and keep the original hem. Very friendly, polite service and the clothes are super clean. Our main form of communication is through texting and he's very responsive. Longest response I had to wait for was about 30 minutes and that was 7 in the morning. I initially found out about this place after a very unfortunate lunch accident at work. My favorite gray suit had gotten a decent amount of olive oil on it. After I finished dabbing the stain with hand-soap and wiping away my unending tears, I searched Yelp for nearby dry cleaners with a high rating. Of course, At Your Door Cleaners was at the top of the list. My reaction was basically, "Hmm. 5 stars? They probably have like two reviews or something. Wait... they have like thirty 5 star reviews!? Is this for real!?" I even asked some of my coworkers if they've ever tried the place, and a good portion of them say they don't go anywhere else! I was sold! I was excited to try a dry cleaning service that offers pick up and delivery because its February and I had a down comforter, duvet, quilt, and two jackets that needed a good cleaning after being in a storage unit. At the time of writing this review, Yelpers had given this company fifteen five-star reviews so I gave them a call. Nguyen corresponded via text which was convenient and arrived just a few minutes late. This wasn't a problem for me. This Thursday pickup was due to be returned to me on Monday. I got a text on Monday saying one of the jackets needed another cleaning so my drop off would instead be Tuesday. On Tuesday I got a text saying the jacket was to be cleaned again (he noted they were losing money on it), and it would be ready Wednesday. Our schedules weren't going to line up on Wednesday so I got my items on Thursday. Nguyen is really nice and takes credit cards. The one thing that would have been nice is to get either a paper or email receipt of the items picked up. Overall, pleasant experience. read more

I tried them a few times before writing this review to make sure the service is consistently incredible. Good news: it is! Nguyen (the young owner) and I communicate via text messages. He is super responsive at all times of day. I don't know when does he ever sleep because he is willing to pick up or drop off at almost any time (whether 7am or 9pm, he is there). My dry cleaning always comes back clean and neatly organized. The prices are fair. The service is fast (next day). I have been using At Your Door regularly for over two years for both dry cleaning and wash and fold laundry and have never had a single instance of less than stellar customer service from them. Nguyen personally answers texts to schedule pick-ups/drop-offs and update me on my orders. He is wonderfully communicative, very responsive and incredibly friendly. At Your Door lets me know when to have my laundry ready for pick-up, I leave it in the lobby and a day later it comes back clean, perfectly folded and neatly packaged. For comparison, I used a similar service at a larger competitor that lost my laundry, had rude and inconsiderate drivers and clearly didn't prioritize customer service. That company also folded laundry very messily so I usually had to refold half the laundry myself. I asked to have a coat deep cleaned along with a couple other items. I had a mouse infestation recently and some of the mice left poop and pee on my coat. I got the coat back but still saw some excrement left behind. Not sure how deep they cleaned the items I sent. I ended up just scrubbing the rest off, but am upset that after paying for the coat to be cleaned it was sent back in the same condition. read more

They are very flexible with delivery and drop off times, and can always accommodate me with after hours (7-9PM) requests. If you stain your clothes (which I often do) just point out the stain and they are almost always successful and getting it out (red wine, oils, etc).
