I want to live in this store!…read more Every which way you turn in this pocketsize shop there is some fabulous home decor option to swoon over. From the wicker framed mirrors and candy-colored ceramic vases to plush cashmere throws and "petit friture" bookshelves, everything is so cute and chic you want to scream. If I lived nearby I'd have ravaged the store, but since I was just in town for a short stint with a backpack, I reasonably settled on an adorable metal and glass picture frame and candle. If you are looking to add a little decorative twist to your home or a cool, affordable housewarming gift for a friend, this shop is as good as it gets.

The brand that I noticed in the window is from Marseille and is called French Terry and the lovely owner Olivier, who opened this adorable concept shop 9 months ago, is a huge fan. And now so am I! Think juicy couture but with super flatering, modern fits, extremely soft fabrics in a tasteful range of colors. Basically comfy clothes that don't look schlumpy. Olivier lead me to the sales rack where the winter collection was still 50% and I picked up a khaki shirt and grey blazer for 70€ combined. Pretty awesome. He's also got a great selection of sneakers, t-shirts, accessories as well as some cool home decor. Definitely check this place out!

We had a great experience at this shop. The pictures on their yelp page are old, so if you go here…read morenow, you'll see more soaps from Marseille and other tourist gift items. We walked around the Old Port and thought this shop had the widest selection of soaps for a reasonable price. If you buy 5, you get it for 10 euros, which comes out to 2 euros a piece. We also purchased some other gift items, such as place mats and decorative metal trays for family and friends. We were helped by a young lady who was really friendly and spoke English very well. She explained some of the soaps and when we ended our conversation, she also gave us a nice parting gift. If you're looking for Marseille gifts, this is a good shop to go to.
