While other kinds of mushrooms have a milder flavor that brings out the meat flavor in a pizza, shitake mushrooms overpower the rest of the flavor of the pizza. Even when removed, I can still taste the residual mushroom on the pizza. The rest of the toppings were average, but the crust/dough was nice and crispy and hot. There's a little community of folks that hang out down at the restaurant and I have no doubt that they struck up some conversation or other and just got wrapped up in it and forgot about my chicken. Casa Adela as a restaurant space is...intimate, meaning it's tiny and a place where the local people like to hang out and shoot the breeze. What's strongest is the delivery service, so opt for that.
