We just had Athena's Movers help us out today in Crestline and have absolutely no complains(the highest compliment there is.) They gave me a call roughly an hour before they came so we could prep for them and didn't complain at all when they couldn't get their truck up our steep driveway(not their fault, it's a VERY steep driveway and a VERY big truck). They were quick, prompt, professional, and very friendly. They also were quick to adapt when there was a last minute change in where we were going to meet and were easy to communicate with both via yelp and phone. 10/10, would and will be using these guys again in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for movers; especially up here on the mountain. read more

I hired Greek Movers on three occasions: Once to do a junk pick-up from my house and a second time to take a queen bed to San Diego and third, a long distance move from CA to AZ. Service and communication was good. Their workers have sticky fingers though. The workers (Jose) know the exact terms of the company liability and then they grab something valued at less than a $100 and no one can file a claim. What a racket dude. The item is just "lost." Bullshit. I call it the curse of the generous tip--whenever I tip well something goes sideways. I was present for the loading of my household goods, was assured that the truck was in a locked yard overnight and I was present for the unloading the next day. I called the storage space company and they said they found nothing remaining. This was a small move--about half a truck load. So my office chair "went missing." The blue blanket that covered the chair in storage made it to my new place but the chair underneath it never made it. I'd like my chair back, assholes, and the $100 tip I gave you. I'll be telling your big realtor client about Jose and that stupid-ass chair that was "lost." It's the principle of the thing. A return phone call would have been nice anyway. If I could give less than one star, I would. I hired this moving company recently, and it was a total mess from start to finish. They sent around 12 guys, but only four of them were actually doing the work. The rest just stood around talking, watching, or pretending to look busy. The ones that were working weren't careful at all shoving items improperly, not wrapping things right, and moving way too fast like they just wanted to get it over with. It honestly looked like none of them cared about what they were doing. They were also super unprofessional,no coordination, no respect for people's belongings, and not even taking care of their own tools or equipment. Everything just felt chaotic and sloppy. I ended up with scratched furniture, wasted time, and a lot of frustration. Definitely not worth the money or the stress. All my questions were answered quickly. The people I spoke to were very polite and patient with my many questions. They handled a lot of very heavy items and the four guys who did the work were polite and cheerful. The only negative is that they were much later than the original start time but all the work got done quicker than I would have thought it would. The price was excellent. read more

I scheduled a local move with this company, signed a contract and paid a deposit several weeks in advance of the move. The morning of the move, they texted me to say they weren't showing up as they had "double booked," and they had refunded my deposit. That's it. My thought is they secured a larger move for the day, and instead of honoring my contract or being honest, they bailed, leaving me and young family to spend the next few hours trying to find another moving company who was able to show up same day, at an additional cost to me of course. The trucks they use are very old and out of date/ clearly need service. The load wasn't efficient and a leg of our table ended up getting cracked, which a good business would have pointed out to us honestly. Moved my stuff from CA to TX. Picked up my stuff on Monday Oct 6th gave them 2 extra days for travel and still showed up at 1:50pm on Friday October 10th. At least 10 guys loaded my items in Ca but only 2 guys delivered and offloaded them in Tx. I had to help the guys unpack my belongings the entire time here and they still left around 10:30pm! They took my dolly (they won't admit it), broke two TVs (bubble wrapped and covered in moving blankets, damaged my newly painted wall and tried to hide it with my end table and broke an office desk piece. These guys WILL not respond or take care of your claims (which they say in contract will cover $.60 of the dollar amount of the item damaged). do NOT fall for Peter's initial sweet talk he is a con man and not a man of his word and his workers are unprofessional dirty and unorganized. These guys take ZERO accountability. Sad thing is I not only helped them from 5pm till 10:30pm but I even bought them dinner and provided unlimited water soda and energy drinks. All my calls are being blocked or forwarded to their "office" line where they won't pick up nor call me back NOR respond to our emails. I really hope and pray to god justice is served to these guys one way or another and that nobody else falls victim to their bs. read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! I can't stress it enough. Two polite boys showed up but they were ineffective, inefficient, and slow. Contracted them to move a 1 bedroom apartment heavy items only no food, clothing, pictures office equipment or small items. Everything cleared and/boxed ready to go to 2 locations bedroom to one everything else to storage. An hour into them being there they get a call saying they have two more jobs that day in Riverside & San Dimas. They were not happy & very vocal about it. Now my job stretched into over 9 hours. These guys got my love seat stuck in the door even though I suggested they take the seats off &/or the legs for 30 minutes. "No it's faster this way." They took the boxes downstairs and set them in a puddle of water several times I had to move them out of the water. They were constantly on their cell phones leaving the apartment to take calls. I kept asking Scott why is this taking so long just to move the boxes & living room. His response, "It must be the steps and the distance from your apartment to the front gate because you don't have much to move." (My point exactly) My apartment is 4 from North gate. That explanation doesn't make sense. I kept reminding him I can only pay for six hours. Okay Okay the he hot a call about the other two jobs for that day. They arrived at both new locations 1/2 hour after I did. I left both locations 15 minutes after them & staying in the slow lane to give them to arrive. It took them 1 1/2 hours to set up the & drop off the fridge. They put everything in the bed room before setting up the bed so they were constantly having to move things around. At storage I asked them to stack the boxes in one wall & the furniture on the other wall. Danny yes yes we can do that. Instead they took in all the boxes and furniture at the same time. Placing boxes on top of furniture & furniture on top of boxes. Helter Skelter is the best to describe it. See the pic of how they left my storage. I took a picture of the truck after they removed my dressers. This is how little they had to move that took over 9 hours. When they told me my bill was over $1,300.00. I was very unhappy & said no way. Peter got on the phone I asked him to call me. He told Scott I am not calling because she wants to complain about you without you hearing. So I told Peter they are extremely ineffective, efficient & slow. So slow. He then offered for me to pay $1,000 for this to go away since I paid movers the same amount last year except they moved everything. Scott you had family help with the move too. I had additional family members with me last year who help monitor the work flow not do the work. This was my mistake this time as they came so highly recommended. Peter then changed the amount to $1,100. I said I would pay $900 because I now have to hire 2 guys to fix my storage locker. Then one of the movers Danny in Spanish called me a F ing Puta. Peter response to that is I am holding them up & they just want to go home. Also I am being charged for arguing with them about the bill. Peter agreed to the $900 for it to away. I sent $500 to Scott Clark by Zelle. Then I texted Peter for a $900 invoice. His response was, "why your bill is over $1,300." I didn't respond. I had to pack my car with all the items that did not fit in storage. My 75 year old mom got out of bed to come get the items that didn't fit in my car. Top it off Scott & Danny were told they still needed to do Melissa's job. It's really hard to find reputable moving companies that don't try to stretch time to take all your money. I wish I had read some of these reviews sooner. I will never recommend this company again. read more

Got a quote for 3 hours for a move with 3 movers. Movers showed up over an hour and a half late. Took them over 2 hours to get a 2 bedroom apartments loaded into the moving truck. By the time we got to the new house and off loaded all the furniture from the truck, the time was over 7 hours. The 3 movers just dropped off the furniture in the house and left. Noticed multiple pieces of furniture were damaged along with damage to my door frame. Great quality movers and at respectable price! This is my second time using movers and my first time using Greek Movers. In short, I will be using them again and would recommend them to others. This review is specifically for Aladdin, Korie and Gilbert, the three-man crew that handled business, made no complains, broke nothing, and were busting their tails in 90 degree July heat. Now, yes of course movers can help you pack and move all of your stuff, but my recommendation is to pack everything yourself to avoid anything being broken accidentally. That's what we did. We labeled everything, and made everything as easy as possible for these guys to just load and unload. From start to finish these three gentlemen busted their butts, worked together, had a positive attitude and were respectful in their language, conversation with each other and to my wife and I. They all introduced themselves to me and called us "sir" and "ma'am" during our interactions. I would specifically recommend the 3-man crew of Aladdin, Korie and Gilbert again. They were a great representation of the Greek Movers company and should be noticed for it. If my review holds any weight, please commend these guys for their hard work. However, be aware that if they damage your things they will never answer any of your calls or text messages! My husband called them from his number and told him their claims office "opens" at 10 and that he couldn't help us ! We've been calling and sending messages nonstop and have not received a response.They broke two of my TV plasmas, one was a brand new one ! They didn't think to place the TV's in a safe area when transporting them instead they placed them in an area where they fell and cracked the screens! They completely ghost you or block you. This is my second time using Greek movers, first experience was a ball! I cant remember his name but he was on point. Fast and efficient. This time around with 4 men and it still took them almost 8 hours to move 2 beds and a couple of boxes and fridge that they ruined. Value is just not worth it for me. I am going to need someone to reach out and come fix it or offer other solutions am listening. I probably should have read the recent review before scheduling. They say you get what you pay for. This is most certainly the case with the Greek Movers. My first experience using movers and unfortunately was a horrible experience. I messaged the company the day after and as of Wedensday, no response. They use amateur movers who are not prepared. So thousands of dollars in damage were done in this move. 1) they dropped our 1 year old Samsung fridge while loading it onto the truck. They didn't wrap the fridge, so the freezer drawer popped open and it topped over, apparent. We the refrigerator is non-operable and is sitting in out garage. 2) They spent 45 minutes attempting to fit a sofa into the doorway to our office without removing the legs, damaging the doorway. They had to leave the sofa in the doorway and my family successfully removed the sofa. 3) our granite table was also damaged. 4) Front door to our apartment has a deep scratch. They spent about 45 minutes trying to determine how to bring the living room sofa into the house. When it was time to pay, they did not show me the timer. They calculated a "discount" for the damages but couldn't explain the logic to it. I've messaged the company twice and no response. Lesson: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

I don't recommend this moving company if you're in the Southern California area. This company caused me so much anxiety. The only pro about this company is that they are very responsive on Yelp to earn your business. The two movers that came out took 8 hours to move my 2 bedroom apartment to a house. I boxed and bagged 90% of my things, labeled everything to make their job easier. Prior to the move, I told them I have two mounted tvs, washer and dryer and refrigerator to move. When the movers arrived, they didnt bring any tools nor lifting straps. They stood around waiting for another guy to bring the staps wasting more time. The guys were not in a rush at all. They were very chatty and acted like they were hanging out at a frat party. There was zero consideration for my time and money. The lack of attention to basic things is unbelievable. They carried trash to the truck and I had to remind them several times that the bags were trash that goes to the dumpster. The labeled boxes were ignored. I found boxes I labeled in different rooms. They stacked 4-5 extremely heavy boxes on top of each-other so that I couldnt unstack them. The dryer never got hooked up because of missing parts but didn't communicate that to me. I had to ask about the hookup. They charge $40 for hookup. They also leaned a 65" TV against the wall of my new house. They left debris laying around from the saran wrap. The list goes on. The manager or owner agreed to remove one hour and waive the $34.00 truck fee. still cost me about $800. Mind you, I moved 5 minutes away. They said I moved from a second floor to a two story is reason for 8 hours. Okay, so no one asked me upfront about these details otherwise they should've recommended 3-4 guys that were competent to do the job. Do yourself a favor and use another company. Buying a new home and moving should be an exciting time in your life but this experience was the worst and most stressful experience of my process. read more

The worst moving company i have ever experienced. The movers scratch of my furniture. They were not prepared bringing wardrobe boxes in had previously requested prior to sceduling my appointment. They used alot of profanity language during the time they were moving also talking to to much during moving. Lastly when putting back up my bed they put it back up very sloppy all the screws and wood were not put together correctly alot of screws were missing from the frame almost like they were just trying to hurry up and put it together. One of the screws they screwed in through the side of the frame poking out from the other side. At the end of there job they over charged me from what my estimate was to charging me 400 dollars over my estimate. My opinion if they would have came better prepared and did less talking and took more time making sure everything was put back together the right way. Everything would have been a whole lot better. I don't know if it's the moving company or just these 2 movers particularly making the company look bad, but I do know i will never be using thus company again. read more
