The main reason I suggest being a local is because if you need to get ahold of anyone in the office, you'll need to just go there in person. I wouldn't suggest calling unless you have some sort of fetish of sitting on hold for eternity. Once you get there they are very helpful....... Now that you have your appointment and your ready to get seen next month, you are on your way to feeling great again. NOW... don't think for one second that you got to bypass the on hold thing just because you live in town. Once you get to your appointment next month and you have a seat in this very spacious waiting room, take a look around. You will notice there will be 1 maybe 2 people ahead of you, at this moment you think to yourself ( this will be quick) lol. This is the point where you will get to wait somewhere between 1-1 1/2 hours till someone brings you to the examination room, but don't worry the fun doesn't stop there. Once in the room you will get to wait at least another 30 to 45min. If you need to get some shopping done or feel like going to a nice sit down restaurant while you wait, just run up stairs check in and go do your thing, you will have plenty of time

I have right knee pain for several weeks. It is swollen 3 times the size of my left knee and hurts…read morewhen I walk. I made an appt with Dr David Cortese at Franciscan Orthopedic Associates at St Anthony. X-rays were taken of my knee prior to meeting with the Dr. He took a look at my x-ray, examined my knee and told me there was nothing wrong. I asked him why my right knee was swollen and painful. He told me he didn't "know" and I should continue to take anti inflammatory medicine to reduce the swelling. He told me to lose weight. I agreed with him that losing weight would be beneficial, however my weight is evenly distributed between my left and right side of my body and did not explain the swelling on the right side only and the pain in walking. Again, he said he didn't know. I ended my visit. Later that night I could not bear any weight on my right side. I went to St Anthony Emergency Room. They did an ultrasound (concerned I might have a life threatening blood clot). The ultrasound showed a Baker's Cyst. I was prescribed muscle relaxers, told to elevate my leg and stay off my leg as much as possible. I have a follow up with another orthopedic Dr to remove the cyst. I am outraged that Dr Cortese did not seem to care about my knee and lacked the knowledge to figure out the cause. He told me to lose weight and that was the end of it. It's outrageous the lack of care he showed me.

At the referral of a good friend of mine, I came here. And I am so glad that I did! I've had 2 adjustments so far with Dr. Spaulding, a session with CJ, and a massage with Madison. Every experience has been so great! And Sierra and Lauren are so warm and friendly! I have to give an extra shout out to Madison because that was absolutely the best PRODUCTIVE massage that I've ever had! I didn't even have to say what hurt and she knew and worked those areas out. I left feeling so good! They book up so quickly that I've already made my appointments through May! They quickly learned my name and now greet me upon arrival. I have been seen by two physical therapists, Darren and Alex - always on time. Both are skilled at their craft, with a thorough understanding of my surgery and the path I need to follow in order to heal properly. They are both very personable and very sensitive to the limits that can be imposed upon my knee.
