Then, two appointments showed up on my schedule that I never personally scheduled or agreed to -- and when I didn't show up, I was charged two $50 "no-show" fees. Just to be clear, this had happened previously with an appointment I missed legitimately, and I had no issue paying the fee. When I questioned it, the explanation was basically: once they put something on the schedule, it's considered confirmed unless you cancel, and reminder texts count as confirmation. I asked for proof that I actually scheduled those visits, but what I got back were policy copies and reminder screenshots with nothing showing that I ever agreed to those dates. They refused to waive the fees. So my takeaway for future patients: watch your schedule closely and get clear confirmation of what you've actually agreed to, because Brostrom WILL do whatever they can to extort you for those fees. And if you have a problem with it, they will let you know by sending you to collections over the no-show fee.

After two months of "physical therapy" at this location, I was informed by my orthopedic doctor…read morethat my knee was in significantly worse condition, due to the treatment... or lack of treatment, that I received here. I was never given at home exercises, which I was informed is a complete red flag for any physical therapy location. My muscles also became extremely weak over time which caused my pain to intensify. I wasted two months of my time and had start all over at a different location. Please reconsider going here for any injury you have and do your research. I wish I would have done the same.

In the south Lyon area, Allen Physical Therapy is far and away the best place for physical therapy…read more My wife was involved in a bad auto accident, and Allen P.T. helped her recover from it to the point that she now has a far better quality of life than going thru surgeries that would have diminished her life. As well, I suffered a work related injury, the doctor either recommended a surgery that would have sidelined me for 6 months, or physical therapy... I chose therapy and am walking still today without having to go thru any surgery. All thanks to Jeff Allen and his excellent staff!

I've been to so many physical therapy specialists in my life and this is the first one that truly…read moreknew how to treat my condition and resolve the problem Mike was the main therapist during the day but the whole team knew their stuff. Mike and team pushed me just enough that I knew I was working the muscles that needed the rehab. Having gone there for 12 visits it was easy to see how the team worked well with all their patients and quickly developed a rapport with every one of them. I wouldn't hesitate to go back there should I need additional therapy in the future. It's worth noting that this crew is completely different from the staff that was at their old location in a former bank in the heart of South Lyon.

They are all so friendly & kind. Emerald greets you with a smile when you walk thru the door and they all say Hello! They really make you feel like more than a just a patient. I've had physical therapy off and on for the last 12 years. From Allen Park to Brighton I've seen…read morethe good, bad, and the ugly. ATI in South Lyon(north) are the best. Not because of a superior facility (mediocre), but because of their therapist. Good, knowledgable people that know when to push and when to draw back. Currently an all female staff, I was a little hesitant to put my trust in them. But 6 weeks after hip replacement surgery they had me back on the job climbing ladders, lifting 100+ lb objects, and rediscovering flexibility I haven't had in 10 years. The whole staff was great, especially the therapist Heather, Carol, and Melissa. The Techs Amanda :) and Emily. And the therapist I worked with the most, Kelly. She changed my routine almost every day. If you think she's not watching you, she is. And if something is getting too easy, she'll change it. Vice versa, if something isn't working, she'll change that too. Just don't show off too much or she'll push you until you look like a circus performer. This facility has a zero gravity treadmill, electrical stimulation, ultra sound, and therapeutic massage. But the people is what makes the difference.
