Ok, so I recently moved, and decided to transfer my DSL service with me…read more A few days after I moved (one day later than promised), my DSL was up and running. A week and a half later, my DSL was shut off! Not to worry, I called tech support. After about a half hour, I was told that I didn't have service (I knew that) and that the problem was in billing. Ok, fine, transfer me/conference call/whatever. Three failed attempts later, I gave up. Day 2 of no internet: Directly called billing. Was told there was no issue and my service was operational. Paid my bill anyway and set up online bill pay. Directly called customer service. Was told internet would be working again by midnight of Day 3. Was offered a rebate for missed service days. Day 4: Service still not on. Called customer support. Turns out, my service had been terminated. This was a mistake on their part. Was told service would be on by Day 8. Asked to expedite this transaction. Told to call back in two hours. Called back, no luck. Day 8 it is. Day 8: Still no service. Contacted AT&T. Could be another 72 hours before I have service. No one at BellSouth/AT&T is willing to do anything to fix their mistake of accidentally shutting off my internet. Cancelled service.

(Would give 0 stars if I could) Went to upgrade my phone which is on a 2 year payment plan. Had my old phone for over 2 years, knowing I owed nothing in it. They tried to tell me I had to pay $300 to pay off the phone to upgrade it. After seeing that I was confused and calling Verizon myself, they quickly back tracked and told me I never had to pay the $300, only the upgrade fee. I was helped my Lamour, who told me at that point that all I owed was the tax on the new phone which was $175. It was not $175, he had secretly added in an extra $80 by putting a phone case and screen protector on my phone. I did not ask for nor agree to this, I assumed he was throwing it in for free since we had bought him lunch. Unfortunately, I did not check the receipt until I got home. This wasn't a big deal, though the next scam the pulled on us was. My boyfriend also upgraded my phone and was offered an iPad at no extra cost. He made sure to ask that he would owe NOTHING extra. They secretly added a cellular plan on it, an extra $10 a month on his bill. When we realized, we went back to the store to return the iPad. We had thrown out the box (our fault) thinking there was no need for it. They said they would not take the iPad back without the box (understandable), but told him in order to cancel the service he would have to buy out the iPad for $510. Keep in mind, Lamour assured him this iPad would cost NOTHING extra. I'm not sure if it's the store or this specific associate, but if you're coming here, be sure to not take anything that is offered to you as they will scam you the second you are kind to them. Stay far away.

A woman came from the back and said to him "take appointments I don't want to stay late" . He said something and quietly to her and she shook her head yes. He told us that we were going to have to make an appointment because they were closing. We said a lot of are you serious and we already checked in. He said yeah, we are short handed & I said there are 3 people up there and they are being helped. My husband looked at his phone to look at the time. He said that it's only 6.20 and you close at 7. He had talked us into a 15 pro and we only had to sign up to have it sent to us. It was none of his fault. It was the lazy woman that evidently doesn't want people renewing their phone service. We may just go to AT&T. Check the other reviews on here.

There was an employee propping the door open and he had a tablet. When I got to the front he asked my name and told me that I could wait in my car. I told him that I had an appointment....that brought me to the front if the line. WHY did he not ask me if I had one? I'll never know. He appeared as when he checked the names he was checking that but..nope. I was let in first. Needed a new phone immediately. What they don't tell u is that you have to be sure and connect to iTunes at home or backup because they can't /won't touch anyone's phone. So I ended up having to hope my last backup one month ago had been sufficient because no way was I leaving without a phone. I was trading in a phone and the new phone came with a $40 activation fee. I asked if there was a way around that and the employee who was very helpful not I didn't get his name said that I could use the kiosk to save $20 of the $40. I tried to use it and he watched to assist, but the kiosk wouldn't allow me to trade my phone. So back to his desk and the $40. Verizon you should do better. Better with informing customers, better with appointments and better at making the kiosk work
