They led us on a trail that was challenging and fun, and initiated a bunch of cliff-jumping noobs. Apparently during high tide participants get to do a lot of jumps, while during low tide you get to explore caves (which are filled up with water during high tide). We'd been surfing at the various beaches in Newquay, but during this trip we got to see a different side of newquay that was a bit wilder than the sandy beach breaks. Would recommend!

This isn't a bad little zoo. Houses and works with the main animals you would expect in a zoo…read more Maybe one or two more different species would be nice but for what it is it's not too badly priced for what it is. To pass a few hours this is a nice thing to do in the heart of Cornwall.

We live nearby to twycross but much prefer this zoo. It's inexpensive and a far nicer place to walk…read morearound. Twycross has a huge amount of monkeys but they are mostly in little cages - at Newquay they've got their monkeys on a little open air island in a pond. There is no cage at all and they are contained by the water. It's this kind of feeling you get all round the zoo where they've obviously thought about the happiness of the animals as well as the paying public. You get very close to the animals, have Chipmunks crossing over your head in tubes. There are also play areas and places to have picnics. When we went I could have my hand stamped and nip back to the car to get my picnic stuff. They also have animal visits where they take smaller animals and reptiles round to schools and holiday parks. A really great place with caring staff.

We took our son a while ago and he was totally transfixed by the fish, and we thoroughly enjoyed it as well. I was particularly taken with the sea horse and could have stood and watched them for ages. It does seem a bit expensive, but then a place like that must take some running. There was a cafe and shop with a wide range of gifts from pocket money to quite a bit more money. Definitely worth a look in with or without kids if you like fish, and the setting right next to the beach is beautiful too.

The staff all around the aquarium are very friendly and helpful and give talks to people on the creatures and will answer any questions you have. The only downside I found was we got around a bit too quickly as with small children they didn't want to hear many of the details they just wanted to look at things, so perhaps best for older children I'd say if you want to make a day of it, as with small children you could be in and out in an hour which makes it expensive. x

I think trenance stables is a brilliant stables that cares for their horses alot they are really…read morefriendly and they help you if you need help. Trenance is my regular stables where I have lessons every week and I love it, I also love helping out with the horses as I love to be around them and learn new things. I was a very nervous person when I came to this stables and they have helped me to progress and gain some more confidence. This was because the staff are really friendly and understanding. Also the horses are amazing, beautiful and lovely to ride. They work really hard at what they do and they are very good at it. Personally this is my favourite stables of all time and I have been riding there for quite a while now!!!

Would never go there again! The girl was on her phone pretty much the entire time and didn't talk…read moreto me at all. I didn't feel at all comfortable there. They didn't even say goodbye or ask how it went. Way more expensive than other local stabels and the worst customer service i've ever seen! A couple of the girls were nice but it didnt make up for being treated like i was invisable. Would definatly not recommend, especielly to a beginner who needs extra encouragment and patience. My horse was lovely however 3 of the 4 horses that went out had diarreah...........not a good sign of health.
