I had attempted to reschedule and left a voicemail but no one returned my call so showed up on time, having taken time off from work. I was made to wait several minutes and finally I was told that the dentist had just left for the day and was attending a continuing education class and I couldn't be seen, that they tried calling and texting me. I showed them that no such call or message went through. And how can they ASSUME that without reaching me that I am not coming when I had scheduled an appointment? Especially when they never returned a call? Needless to say this is the last time I will step foot in The Dentist. I had been once for an emergency and they were on - a bit loud on the music and a little brusque but I had been ok with the work received so thought maybe I'd try for a cleaning. Nope! This place is a customer service joke. Both front office and dentist need to get their priorities straight. Disappointed. Will not return and do not recommend. It was embarrassing the level of excuses they attempted vs just apologizing and trying to reschedule me or save the client relationship. Instead I was told: "This won't count against you" Nope! It should not at all. I showed up, unlike the dentist. Looks like I'll be going elsewhere....as should you.

However, this office has completely changed my perspective. The staff, especially the front office team, are incredibly kind and responsive. Every time I make an appointment, I can count on my daughter being seen very quickly upon arrival without long wait times. I also really appreciate how transparent they are about costs--there are no surprises, which is such a relief. One of the things I find most impressive is their availability. Despite being a busy office, they always seem to have appointments open. On several occasions when my daughter has broken a bracket or had a loose wire, I've been able to call and get her in as soon as the next day--or even the same day! This level of responsiveness and care is rare and so appreciated. Thank you to the entire team for making what can often be a stressful experience so seamless and positive. When I got my braces, I needed a regular dentist. He was recommended and I've been coming here since. For insurance purposes, they are in network with Cigna and Delta Dental. They accept other insurance but it would be out of network. They do accept Medicaid but not adult Medicaid. Cynthia is an AMAZING hygienist. I think I've only ever seen 1 other hygienist and that was when I had to reschedule an appointment. She does her job WELL! She takes her time and is thorough! Both she and Dr. McNeal have taken the time to get to know me as an individual. They inquire about life updates and share information as well. Cynthia gladly answers any questions you may have throughout the process, including what certain instruments do and what not, should you have more questions beyond her initial explanation. When Dr. McNeal comes in to do his check, he verbalizes everything he's checking for and the if there's concern or not. I haven't had a single issue since coming here. Beyond regular cleanings, I've had a cavity feeling and a tooth pulled as part of my orthodontic treatment. I've recommended them to colleagues who have reported positive experiences!
